Synopsis

Heaven is a spiritual realm where most existence are unreal to the earth realm. The earth realm was dethroned by one of the most elite prince's of hell, which we all know as the Asmodeus(lust). In a world where corruption leads blind people called humans, a theocratic world, which is being led by corrupt priest, arch bishops, deacons, Popes, Cardinals, and the rest, is being threatened by the demonic apocalypse, which claims to suck the remaining strand of righteousness from the earth, and build a new world in order to accommodate and accomplish evil. Heavenly creatures such as Angels were forced to come down to earth to make sure that the demon king doesn't accomplish his mission. They formed an elite team, a clergy which was meant to fight, protect and preserve the gospel of the almighty. This team ran through for thousands of years and was being led by an angel called Evernon, who had sworn to lead this clergy for his entire lifetime. This clergy was ordained to humans by angels who had transferred their powers to the first twenty, the first twenty was a team of humans who had angelic powers after the first war between demons and angels. The war was brutal and it took place on the earth, after Lucifer had taken over the church and placed demons as his priest, nuns bishops, etc. The war was won by angels, off course good always prevails, but the only way they could win was by and explosion of heavenly powers, which means that angels gave of their powers by exploding into the air, which caused their powers to transmit to different locations. Humans found this powers, possessed them and since then, it has been transferred from generations to generations.

Chapter 1And It came to Pass

"Something is coming, something huge, I can't comprehend" Holy father said with an agonizing look on his face, he maintained this look while communicating with Priest Raphel, who stood watchful and with pity. " What is this you speak of your Eminence, of what problem can't we comprehend" Raphel said with a cold look, more fake than the devil's happiness, the pope stood up from his seated position and leaves the office without uttering a word.

Priest Raphel, watched his receding back, and on his face, a dangerous smile grew.

Then he awakens from his day dream and chased the pope " your Eminence, wait" he said while trying to catch up with the pope.

" Demons!!" the pope said when he noticed Raphel draw closer to him.

" Demons..... your Eminence, that's typical... it can't be true" Raphel said with a surprised look on his face.

"It is known that the Devil has come, so that he may kill, steal and destroy, but this time, the devil has come, so that he may take over God's work" The pope said.

" Your Eminence, the devil, doesn't show up" Raphel countered.

" but it does, how many demons have you casted out" The pope stopped walking for a second and asked while staring at the eyes of Raphel.

" Non your holiness, I am still a student," He said while using his first finger to brush his left eyebrow as though it was itching.

" Then do not speak of what you know nothing of." The pope said and walked away, while Raphel stared at him as he recedes his premises, he then smiled and walked back to the office.

Jason is only twenty one years old, he is tall, dark skinned, has eyes that spelt lovely on every gaze, with the colour of the sun, he is the replica of beauty, adorned with a muscular body stature he's hair is tinted gold, which matched the colour of his eyes, he was the true example of black beauty, the definition of a perfect man, but is he. Jason possesses what no normal human possesses.

He comes from the line of angelic host, his father was the last bearer of Angel Metatron's powers. After his father died, the powers of Metatron had been transferred to him. His father died while fighting Abadon, the demon representing sloth, in the last battle, which was the 30th battle between the clergy. All members of that clergy never survived, their mortal skin could not be compared to that of angels, but due to their powers, they were able to subdue the Abadon.

Battles has passed through from generations to generations, from different demons, different prince's of hell, Mammon, satanus, Lucifer, Beelzebub and the rest. They do not come in the physical, but they possess humans and turn them into their host, spreading wildly across the world until they have enough followers to continue their plot.

This demons never stop coming, they keep coming, just like everyone, they try and try harder, but light always subdues darkness.

Jason is seen working out, he practiced the mountain climbing, press up, planks and more as he always does before going to work.

Feeling a little bit stressed, he picked a can of soda, which was at the side of his mirror, at the bottom right corner of his room. He gulped the soda with speed, with his face pointed to the roof, he then faces down and stares gently at the mirror, and notices a dark glowing image (human like) seated on his bed, staring at him. He then turned around and saw nothing. This caused his heart to race, he looked back at the mirror but this time the image stood right in front of him, in the mirror, like as though it was himself he was looking at.

Jason pricked to this and raced out of the room in fear, shirtless.

Jason ran out of the apartment in fear, without looking back, normally such events occur in his life, but this one was so much more intimidating, he had never had such an illusion before.

"Jason where you running to so....packed up" A female voice is heard from behind Jason as he tries to run out of the apartment.

It was the voice of a young lady, she is in her mid twenties, so young and really sorting to the eyes, she had dazzling eyes, which shone like twinkle stars, her skin glowed yellow, as she stood exposed to the yellow sun, her nose was pointed and we'll oriented, it was as though God created her out of his own special image. She goes by the Emily.

All hell went loosed as she walked closer to Jason who was already panting, not only out of fear but also out of nerves. He had always had a crush on Emily ever since when there were young. Emily is the daughter of Jack Ligat, one of the last angels, who possessed the powers of angel Raphel, one of the arch angels of heaven. He had powers which no other member of the clergy had, he was the leader of the clergy.

"been seeing illusions right" Emily asked as though she knew what was going on.

" yeah..... how'd you know that" Jason replied, surprised to hearing Emily's question

" Nope I didn't, I just thought you were, cause I have been having them lately, and trust me, there really creepy, the last time I saw a man in my bathroom bleeding from his back, he had two cuts at the shoulder point of his back, as though something fell out. I helped him with some med kit, so I went back downstairs to get him some water, but before I could he was gone, and I am still wondering how the f*** he went in and came out without anyone noticing, so he left this with me," she said while removing a letter from her back pocket then showing it to Jason.

(IT READ) " find the other's, and come to me"

The both seemed confused after reading the letter " I'm still tryna figure out who the hell am looking for, and where to meet him." Emily said.

" well then ..., I am confused my self." Jason said with cold lips as he flipped to the back of the paper and saw a code written on it." ( 12:00) .

" what's this?" Jason asked.

" I have no idea" Emily replied.

OLD-WORLD EXTRA

{Check out my new novel, Misunderstood Villain: Heroines Mourn My Death} 'Born In Ruins' was a forgettable read. That was the only way Emir could describe the pages of the novel he had found himself reincarnated into. The young man barely knew anything, but the snippets he had recalled only caused him unending sorrow... As what awaited him was only tragedy and an early death. It was a depressing story, one that he had planned to flip on its head—all for his salvation. — In this post-apocalyptic world, monsters fought humans and cyborgs in a battle for survival on a scale greater than ever before. A world where innocence and death were a luxury, where the line between heroes and villains was razor-thin. Within its expanse, 'Ancient Clans,' 'Galactic Federations,' 'Factions', and 'Corporations' presided over colossal 'Ruins' that dwarfed the concept of life itself. Survivors of the 'Third World War' continuously dove into the 'Old World,' 'Hunting' for 'Relics' in any ruin that they could find on Earth, desperate to reclaim 'Lost' technology, to stand a fighting chance against the inevitable. But it appeared that 'Earthkind' had met their match. …However, Emir would never allow that fate to take its course. — Emir unraveled layers of the tale and realized the truth of the world. He acquainted himself with the rules of this game before it fully consumed him. And now... no longer content with mere survival, he sought to dominate over the very fabric of this unforgiving universe. Emir shall rise from the pawn he once was, seeking to unravel the mysteries that hounded him. The boundaries of 'Aether,' his father’s disappearance, the noose hanging above his family’s head, and of course… his starless destiny, a fate he longed to control. This pursuit would earn him the epithet: "Prince Of The Fallen." ---------------------------------------------- *Tags: Reincarnation ;), Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Magical Realism, Academy (Volume 3), Romance, Apocalypse, {Anti-Hero. Villain.} *Expect this novel to start slowly; it begins ramping up at the halfway point of volume 1. *The Magic System is introduced at the end of volume 1, read my review and Auxiliary chapter for more on that. *Warning: The main characters have emotions like proper humans. So don't expect your usual emo kid as the MC and come complaining later.

Intergalactic conquest with an AI

Rex was just another slave in the corporate machine, a faceless office worker under the shadow of one of the galaxy's powerful megacorps. His life was predictable and dull, an endless cycle of meaningless reports and fluorescent-lit monotony. That was, until that day.... When a new world was discovered on the outskirts of the galaxy, Rex, like countless other low-ranking employees, found himself dragged into a contract clause he’d barely skimmed years ago. The megacorp ordered him and his coworkers to pack their lives into a transport pod and leave for the unexplored planet. Their mission? Establish a colony. Mine resources. Make the company richer. There was no choice, refusing meant ruin. At first, everything seemed manageable. The days were grueling, the nights cold, but progress was steady. The colony was coming to life. Until the excavation team struck something. No one knew what it was at first, a buried hive, a forgotten ecosystem, or something ancient and dangerous. Whatever it was, it unleashed hell. Swarms of enormous, chittering creatures erupted from the ground, their jagged bodies blotting out the sky. The colony fell into chaos. Screams echoed through the air as the bugs tore through everything in their path, walls, machines, and people. Rex barely survived. Bloodied, broken, and pinned beneath the rubble, he should have died there. But in the pitch-black silence of his fading consciousness, a voice spoke to him. Cold. Mechanical. Otherworldly. "Do you wish to live?" When Rex woke, he was no longer the man he’d been. His body was no longer human flesh and bone but something far more alien. His skin shimmered with living metal, his mind infused with the power of Cleo, a mysterious AI from a long-extinct, robotic race known as the Kaelzars. Cleo’s presence pulsed through his thoughts, guiding him and transforming him. He wasn’t just alive. He was reborn. But survival came at a price. Rex was no longer a pawn of the megacorp; he was something more dangerous, something they couldn’t control. As Cleo’s intentions began to reveal themselves, Rex found himself standing on the precipice of war, not just with the bugs but with forces far greater than he could have imagined. This was the beginning of a journey through blood-soaked battlefields and treacherous alliances. Along the way, Rex would encounter allies, brilliant, flawed, and unpredictable, and enemies whose ambitions were as sharp as their blades. These weren’t disposable foes, easily crushed by an overpowered hero. They were cunning, relentless, and human in the most terrifying ways. But then again, in war, who can truly be called a villain?
