Ch. 2 Rebirth

There was a tall handsome youth being chased after by a group of people in a forest until he got surrounded from all sides with nowhere to run.

"Nang Jing, now you have nowhere left to run." The leader of the group said as he took out his sword.

"If you think that you can kill me just like that, you are underestimating me way too much." Said Nang Jing as he activated his protective artifact.

If you are wondering who this Nang Jing is let me introduce him. He is the top disciple of a first-grade sect Blue Storm Mountain. He originally was an orphan peasant, but when the sect master was traveling across the continent, he discovered Nang Jing because he has a Heavenly Body, and he was taken in by the sect master as an adopted son. People who have a Heavenly Body are naturally more adept at cultivating because they can absorb the surrounding Qi more efficiently.

Nang Jing is a tall handsome boy. He has long pure black hair and beautiful cyan eyes. And with his title, as the sect master's adopted son and most talented disciple of the sect, he was expected to become the future sect master. But because he is just some orphan without a background a lot of people were jealous of him and some of them even tried to take his life.

That's why he is now surrounded by a group of people who what to take his life. That happened because he has gone out of the sect on a mission to strengthen himself. When those people learned that he has gone out of the sect, they followed him for quite some time until they there fare enough from the sect and ambushed him.

"Surender now any we will kill you and leave your body intact!" Said someone from the group arrogantly.

"I will think about it if you can destroy my 3-star defensive artifact!" Said Nang Jing as he was preparing to try to escape.

"Kill him!" shouted the leader of the group as he charged forward.

Tchank... Tchank... Tchank..., the sound of battle could be heard.

"He is quite rezilient." Someone said as he started preparing for his killer move.

"Everyone to the side!" Shouted the leader of the group as he jumped to the side.

Boom..., an enormous explosion land on Nang Jing sending him flying into a tree.

"Aaahhh!" Screamed Nang Jing with half of his body burning.

At that moment Nang Jing lost his left arm and leg to the explosion and half of his body had burn marks everywhere. With the damage he suffered he couldn't circulate his Qi anymore and his Heavenly Body was destroyed.

"Come let's destroy his Core that he couldn't cultivate anymore!" The leader of the group said as he leaped forward and strike Nang Jing's chest.

"Bose looks like he has already died, what should we do with his body?" One of the people in the group asked.

"Let's throw him in the river." Said the group leader as he started dragging Nang Jing's body to the river, and he had thrown him in the river.

"Let's return to the sect." Said the group leader. And everyone left and returned to the sect.

Nang Jing's body was flowing in the river as suddenly something fell from we sky and landed on his body. That something was the soul of The King Of Death. After that, The King Of Death opened his one eye in Nang Jing's body and thought to himself. 'What, what happened, where am I, why am I flowing in the water?'

"Aaahhh, what is this pain what happened to me, did I just get reborn in someone else's body?" He shouted loudly until he lost his concusses.
