Chapter 1 : Trial 1
All of a sudden, Jian lin felt his soul being sucked out into a golden vortex again, but this time he found himself entering into a strange space.
It was almost cuboidal in shape, with its parameters being at 10 meters on its dimensions. It was not completely empty without any other matter to be found other than a soft bed at its center and an adequate supply of water at one corner of the room was present. The room was illuminated in white coloured light.
"Ding! Host has been transported to a place, called personal room space*(4), host would be presented with three different trials, which had to be completed, for obtaining a chance to reincarnate. Does host wish to challenge the first trial. "
He was quite irritated as his soul was being toyed earlier, but after the word reincarnate entered his ears, Jian lin became exited. If he could reincarnate, then there remained a way possible for him to avenge his fallen relatives, and his children.
Ten years is not too early for a man's revenge, no matter how long these trails takes, I would stick till its end, for there's a path presented before me, which could help me reincarnate.
Since the mysterious power refers herself to system, Jian lin has assumed it to be her name.
" Yes, lady system! I want to challenge that first trial " Jian lin said in a rather polite manner, despite her voice being that of a kid.
Suddenly a large door appeared on the wall adjacent to him. It has a strange attractive aura around its surface, as if it was telling Jian lin to open her door and enter into it.

Inside the tower
"Ding! host has entered trial tower *(5) "
When Jian lin entered the trail tower, a message popped up in his head, It had shown him the map of the floor, few circular dots were seen in a range, 1000 meters around him. Three types of dots, green, blue and red were seen. Green dot at his location, red dot locating the quest target. Blue dots at location of non quest related targets .
Jian lin saw an endless grass lands interspersed with giant boulders from place to place, he can see bodies of small goblin, humans and few giant rabbit with a single large horn that were lying dead around him. He became sure that, he aint the only human that was receiving special privileges from system.
Jian lin then went to location of the target that was close to him, hiding behind a giant boulder he saw an group of 8 small goblins surrounding a young women, feasting on her raw guts alive, she appeared to be about 20 years or older.
She had been fickering violently as she was not dead yet. These monsters were savoring her meat slowly and were using her bottom as a tool for their pleasure.
When he glared at a monster in anger an interface popped up before his eyes, showing the stats of the monster.

Jian lin was angered, his eyes were boiling red, his heart was palpating fast, his hands were about to become restless, ready to mince these monsters for their atrocities.
He wanting nothing but to kill those goblins, and start a killing spree, until a single one out there not remained alive.
Being a part of the bright faction before, the action of these goblins negated his core principles.
Though he wanted to kill these monsters directly and extract vengeance for that women, he was still helpless as he was not brought to this place with his cultivation from before, the level of the small goblin was higher than him, they were ranging from level 5 to level 9.
They were about 4 feet tall and seemed to be sixty pounds in weight approx. The range of perception of small goblins were about 20 meters, attributed to their sense value which was around 2.
Since he could not kill them directly under frontal confrontations, he started to set traps using the bones, tendons and what ever he could obtain from his surroundings that can be of his use.
He started making preparations for ordinary spiked traps, used by wild hunters during his days back in the continent, they drive their prey into the trap and collect his corpse to sell it's meat later.
The main requirements for making that trap was pointed spikes, so he decided to make few spear's using rabbit's horn at its top with its femur bone as its shaft.
Using the wretched outer skin from the carcasses of the monsters around him he camouflaged the pit after installing the horn spikes at its base.
By making use of the pebble around him that, he targeted the small goblin, that was relatively separated from the group, almost outside, that were waiting for their turns to vent out their *e** on the innocent women.
He thrown the pebble, few meters away from a small goblin to attract it's attention, since their group alone were not only predators on this chaotic area.
They drive out their competitors and well as the stealers that came to disturb their activity. The unfortunate small goblin had noticed the disturbance in his surroundings, it started to walking towards its source to confirm the cause for it.
Jian lin successfully lures two small goblins away from the main body of the group, as they went to scout for others. A few meters away from them Jian lin has once again employed the same trick and lured them closer to his set trap.
Contributed to their poor intelligence, they were not able to figure it out that they had fallen into his trap, when they were separated away from the main group.
Jian lin now decides to make his move, he starts to crawl between the rotten corpses, and made his appearance next to the trap, on the opposite side of the monsters, which were few feet away from their death.
By using himself as a bait, he raised abruptly bringing about their attention, his bare body was covered by bits of decaying flesh and rotten unsolidified blood and made him look quite barbaric with a spear on his left hand.
The small goblins had pushed towards him, looking at the tall body of Jian lin, which could feed their stomachs for few couple of weeks.
Innately they are able to judge a persons strength by the aura emitted around from his body which would be released unintentionally.
Since the aura released from him was quite weaker compared to them, they had fallen right into his trap after stepping their feet on the loose canopy, which was set by him to camouflage the trap from being spotted.
They were both at level 7 with a max HP of 240. When they had fallen into his trap, their bodies were pierced simultaneously at different locations, around the parts of their heads, abdomen, stomach, limbs, and even right through their hearts.

Few numbers popped up before his head, which corresponded to the decrease in the health from these monsters, showing that their HP was being lost after being pierced by spears. The they struggled and groaned for few seconds and died quickly leaving behind plenty of experience for jian lin to increase his level sharply.
Messages popped up in his head, after the monsters were eliminated. These small goblins became the first kill for him in this trial tower.

Quite surprisingly the monsters which were killed by him, were absorbed into the tower, disappearing as if they were never present to begin with.
Two round iron coins were tossed over his head after they disappeared.
Jian lin killing the small goblin had made his strength leap qualitatively, his level jumped directly from Level 0 to Level 3, four less than the monsters killed by him earlier.

There a saying that the most useful gift provided to mankind, by the gods in the upper heaven were their wit, which these monsters lacked.
The system had only given him the quest to kill these small goblins. But never had she mentioned him to kill them directly under frontal confrontations.
So using the stuffs Jian lin could found around him, in the blood ridden area was not a violation to the quest handed out by her.
so he employs the same old trick and managed to lure others monsters into his trap, one by one and killed them similarly as he had done to their kin earlier.

Messages were popped up in his head, with a wide range of experience points, depending on level of monster he killed earlier.
The messages had popped simultaneously which had made Jian lin almost dizzy. But still he need to get used to it as he was about to hear them till the moment of his death.
After all the monsters he had spotted earlier were killed. He went near the body of the young woman, that had stopped it's flickers. He prayed for her soul to reach the heavens and buried her body underneath the soil.
After leaving that place, Jian lin was examining his loot. " Few plain goblin robe, a goblin blade and few iron coins.
Hah... finally I could cover my bear exposed body with robes, though they looked tethered, it's better than nothing.
And with this blade, i could finally use some some decent weapon that ain't a rotten part of the dead monsters around me. " exclaiming internally mark was searching around for his next target.
" Ding! Host can store the loot in personal inventory *(6). "
Jian lin was troubled earlier, he was carrying the spoils obtained earlier, within his hands. System had popped a message informing him that he ain't need to torture himself carrying that load around his hands.
" Personal inventory! That's convenient. " After storing the rest of the loot in his inventory that played no use to him this moment, he was now holding the goblin blade in his hands, examining it's details to adapt it to himself as his life depends on it.
The lv 9 small goblin left behind a blade that was quite an eye catching piece. When Jian lin was staring at it, since it was his first earned weapon that he obtained this time. He thought that a panel would also appear before him like the monsters earlier, exhibiting its properties.
Suddenly a panel appeared before him as earlier, describing the attributes of the blade like its previous owner which was seen through by Jian lin.

" Iron coins! " Jian lin was surprised to see this character over this panel. Isn't that what those small goblins dropped earlier after their death. "
"System! What are these iron coins? What's their use? I had been seeing them from earlier. " He became curious, as he saw the word iron coins on the panel before him, which had been stored by him in the personal space earlier.
" Ding! Responding to host, iron coins are the internal currency, which could be used by the host and can also be used to explore and unlock the features of even buy some armaments and supplies from the system in this trail tower.
Coins are rewarded to the host, when he completes an quests or even by killing the quest targets or could be obtained by exchanging the loot with system. "

" Jian lin exclaimed internally, he sat flat over a clean boulder and frowned, " Hu, wasted more than a couple hours, but was still worth the time, hah, 12 more targets to complete the quest, still a plenty of time is available to this Jian lin. "
Jian lin was quite happy this moment, he had killed more than one third of his quest targets, and was also promoted to Level 5 from Level 3, after killing the 6 small goblins tactically into his traps one by one.
Jian lin searched around for his next target and moved to their location without a moment delay.
Jian lin has fortunately found an old goblins den, it was more of an underground cave from its external appearance.
There were more than 40 red dots inside their den, with few blue dots interspersed among them, as there were matures Goblins *(2) leasing the small inside the cave and their leaders.
It is a known fact that regardless of the type of the monster available, which may even topple a city overnight, it would become vulnerable if no air was available for it to breath, dying under the phenomenon of suffocation. Jian lin decided to employ this fact to his use this time.
He made few round trips around the vicinity of the den, founded few exits that connected to their central area, by the system map and devised a plan to kill them as a whole.
He started gathering information regarding these monsters, the small goblins had always been spotted in groups of 10 patrolling around their entrance, and made regular shifts at 30 minutes interval.
There was a gap of five minutes before the switch, where the main entrance would be left unguarded, for him to exploit.
He covered his body with old small goblin's hide around him, and rubbed small goblin's blood over his body, to conceal his presence before them.
Since the existence of goblin was not familiar to him, and he could not waste the chance, when he reached near the vicinity of the cave to set his killing traps.
He extracted oil from belly fat of Caracas around him, and since they were not sufficient for him to use for his tricks, he decided to purchase a drum of flammable oil from the system using the iron coins, he earned earlier. Since those were rotting in the personal storage tl begin with, he decided to put it for better use and wipe out their small den for good.
He started closing the minor exits connecting to the cave and cut off their connection to the external surface. To collapse the main entrance, he sorted to do it with the oil he obtained earlier.
Jian lin traced out a small path of oil and stood few tens of meters away from the drum. He ignited it with the blade, by generating sparks after scratching it violently against the hard stones lying around him.

The drum containing the oil had been exploded near the main entrance, and in turn the large entrance had fallen abruptly.
The fire spreader into the cave and since the entrances and minor exits were closed. The fire consumes the air inside to keep itself burning violently, and once all the oxygen was consumed, the goblins and it's co. would have no supply to meet their oxygen demand, coupled with the toxic monoxide released from burning they died either under suffocation or being burned to death by fire earlier, or crushed under the boulders by the collapse or even under monoxide poisoning itself.

Jian lin was raining with a shower of experience points from killing multiple targets as once, more than 40 smaller goblins with 6 matured goblins had turned into his experience, and was pilling up into his interface pushing his level by abruptly.

Messages were popping simultaneously, making him feel virtual pain, as he had not adapted to her voice already, but still he was experiencing a pleasant feeling in midst the paim.
Jian lin was feeling as if he had transcended to a whole new realm, his power had multiplied by several times.
He was sure that he can now kill those small goblins with out employing some cheap tricks behind his sleeves. With his brute strength alone he was confident enough to subdue them under his might.
He had levelled abruptly reaching Level 10 from level 5.

Host can deal 10 % more damage to goblin and it's related species and receive 10 % less damage from goblin and it's related species. "
Jian lin was exited, since it was his first title after entering the trial tower. Which could also helps him killing goblins more easier than before.

As soon as the trial was completed, Jian lin was teleported back to his personal room. It was ten times larger than it used to be and small house was seen right at the center which can accommodate an small sized family. Jian lin suddenly clicked his status window to see this status.

After hearing the sweet dinging of the system
an another door was opened, within his personal space right next to the first door, which lead him to the first trial.
Jian lin accepted the second trail and enters the second floor of the trial tower through the trial door from his personal room space, to meet his next adventure.
Author notes :
1. Small Goblin, Known for killing and eating humans, and other inferior monster, to increase their level from 0 at the very start, till it reaches level 9 at the max.
2. Matured Goblin is the next evolved from of small goblin it's level starts from 10 until it reaches 19.
3. Hobgoblin is the next evolved from of matured goblin, it's level starts from 20 until it reaches 29.
4. Personal room space - Place where the player returns back after completing his/her trials, and also the place where they live temporarily. Doors leading to the next missions would appear simultaneously for next tasks.
5. Trial tower - the place where the players will be taking his trials, for their reincarnation mission.
6. Personal inventory - Unlimited storage space, given out by the system to the players.
