29 29: Instant Confrontation
"Hmm" the sound of humming fluctuated throughout the night sky, a figure could be seen shuttling through the air like an arrow.
Using the trees, itsuki managed to leap and dash more than 20 meters with each step he took, shaking the tall trees which he made contact with.
It has been 5 days since he left the demon slayer headquarters, at first he wanted to follow Rengoku to then save him and get the kill on Akuza.
But itsuki changed his mind, since Rengoku was meant to die, there was no stopping it, itsuki wasn't planning on saving dying characters for no reason.
They should blame the creator of the manga for their unjustified deaths.
Itsuki was currently on his way towards a small town in the Far East.
There was some strange things going on over there, surprisingly, there weren't too many disappearances, but still the crow relayed this mission to itsuki.
"Don't disappoint me" Itsuki thought, in these 5 days he hadn't even gone up by a single level.
He had killed Atleast around 3 demons, which weren't even that strong.
Since it was already night time, itsuki knew the demons in this small town would be out.
The streets of the town were lit, but the streets were also empty, only the sound of the passing cold breeze was heard.

An evil laughter filled the town, eventually reaching itsuki's eyes.
He narrowed his gaze into the distance as he heard this, he immediately spread out his ice domain.
He had a feeling of being watched, which he wasn't used to, but in the end he released a smile.
Itsuki managed to pick up a hint from his ice domain which surrounded the whole town.

With a flash step he appeared in the air like a butterfly, his sword appearing in his hands within a flash of light.

The air shook, as itsuki leaped, an ornamented pot appeared a few meters away from him, this caused itsuki to narrow his eyes.
"Hohoho, I have been waiting for you" a deep voice filled the sky once again, but itsuki still couldn't find the source, the voice was seemingly everywhere.
After the voice faded, in a split second multiple pots appeared in the sky like stars.

The sound of flowing water sounded out, from within these pots, many huge fish and tentacles started appearing, with incredible speed as they shot towards itsuki.
"What kind of demon art" itsuki raised his eyebrows, this was a definitely one of the twelve Kizuki, his excitement rising.
"Knowing I was here, you set this trap for me? Did daki not tell you guys how strong I was?" Itsuki smiled, using the pots he managed to keep himself in the sky, he didn't block the attacks, but used them to shatter the pots.

The continuous sounds of explosions rang out as the many pots exploded into dust mid-air, the tentacles and fish crashing into them as they chased after itsuki.
"You ran into daki??...and survived??....interesting" the eerie voice appeared once again, but this time it was accompanied by flowing water.
Dozens of water balls appeared after the demise of the pots, they were huge.
In the midst of these water balls, itsuki saw a disgusting body, with its eyes licking around with tongues and other disgusting body parts all over.
"Lunar split" itsuki was used to the disgusting physique of demons, he did notice the "5" in the demons eye though, his sword flashed out like a wave as a thin line appeared in the sky.

As the lunar split tore apart the water balls, the demonic body flinched before a pot appeared and the demon body disappeared.
A dozen other pots appeared as the demon's body teleported within.
Itsuki's sword flashed again, he leaped off a building and slashed out, causing an illusionary storm of blades to appear in the sky, striking at the pots.
"You can't hide"

Itsuki's ice domain was already out, this demon, named gyokko, ranked 5 in the twelve Kizuki was actually using the pots to teleport.
But as itsuki approached, more pots appeared, sending out tentacles as they lashed out at him.
"F*ck" gyokko actually cursed within the pots, it was like no matter how many times he teleported, itsuki could still sense his location within the pots and attack in a split second, giving him a hard time.
"No wonder you survived meeting daki, I don't remember a hashira like you, are you new?" Gyokko's eerie voice appeared, he was expecting an answer.
But itsuki was like an unfazed machine as he continuously stroked out, as seconds passed, gyokko felt his life hanging on a straw each time.
Itsuki was getting faster.
"You are no match for me, but I'll definitely thank you for presenting yourself in front of me"
Total concentration.
Itsuki calmed down and concentrated his breathing, gyokko had pots all around the town, but since the town was within Itsuki's ice domain, the slightest movement caused itsuki to react and flash step in a split second shocking the demon heavily.
"F*ck how did daki survive this maniac?" Gyokko said with a hurried breath within a pot, it's only been a few minutes and it actually felt...scared? And even Wanted to retreat.
"Don't worry, daki only got lucky, next time we meet, she will surely die instantly" Itsuki's voice sent a shiver down gyokko's spine.
The pot he was hiding within was actually more than 50 meters away from itsuki's previous position.
Yet itsuki was here already? ABSURD!
Gyokko didn't bother trying to teleport once more, itsuki's sword was already approaching before it could even think about teleporting.
Gyokko's demonic body appeared, all his arms bulging with veins as his disgusting eyeballs carried lips and a weird tongue.
Gyokko changed instantly, his arms turned purple and his arms grew, his body becoming bigger, he looked almost like a fish.
His body was covered in purple scales, and his arms became webbed.

Gyokko wipes out sharply, blocking the incoming attack with his sharp scaled arms.
"I hate your ugly appearance, please die for me" itsuki smiled as he physically and verbally abused this upper rank demon.
Gyokko's scales were hard, harder than diamonds, but his body still had open and weak spots, especially his head and stomach area.
"Hahaha Die" gyokko roared painfully, he had previously wanted to escape, but was actually forced to use his strongest technique to save his life.
In a second pots appeared around him and hundreds of tentacles shot out.
But itsuki Wasn't lazy, his sword danced around beautifully and sliced them all up.
"I hope you don't plain on hiding within the pots again" itsuki frowned, this guy was too slippery, he wasn't too strong, but his escaping techniques were actually godly.
Even he had to push his body incredibly to keep up with gyokko's teleportation within the pots.
