"Tanjiro. Your face is all black, come over here." my mother said to my younger brother, as she kneeled down and took a rag to wipe his face. "because its dangerous when the snow is falling, it's ok if you don't go." she said, continuing to wipe off the charcoal marking on his face. "Yeah, little brother, it's better that I go!" I said as I walked over to take the basket that was over half his size. "No! You are sick Tamashiro! I must go!" he said, full of vigor. god, what did I do to get such a caring brother?

It all began after our father, Tanjuro, died. He passed his Sword, Raitoburinga to me, and his earrings onto Tanjiro. "It's almost the new year, and everyone wants to eat to their heart's content, I'll only go sell a little charcoal." Tanjiro said, bringing a smile to mothers face. "Nii-chan, you're going to the village today?" "I want to go too!!!" our sisters popped up, as mother Immediately declined their invitation. "No. you can't walk as fast as Tanjiro can." She said as I joined in as well. "Not only that, but I am the only one here who can fight off the demons in the forest!" I say, scaring the two.

"D-Demons?!" they say, startled. "Yes, Tanjiro can as well, but He can't do it if you guys follow him, Alright? so its best you stick close to me!" I say, triumphantly as the two hug me. "Keep up save Nii-chan!!!" the two say, hugging my legs. "Alright alright, it's about time Tanjiro gets going. and Tajiro, stay safe because when you get home, we're going to eat as much as possible." I say as he nods. he walks off, and stops to chat with Nezuko, and then continues off to town.

The rest of the day was a Breeze. I tried to chop some wood, but mother, of course, told me to lay down and rest. I slept for the entire day but Awoke at night. I smelt something was off. I got up and grabbed fathers Katana, and walked off. within minutes I had arrived at a broken Bear Trap. not much can set one of these off. only a Bear... or... Quickly I sprint off back to the house, but I was not able to return in time. they were already dead. Dropping to my knees, and cried.

The stories were true. Grandmother's words were true. She told us when we were young, that the only thing that could match a bear's strength was the Oni Or Demons. That bear trap needed at least the strength to carry a medium Boulder, getting up and whipping my eyes, I unsheath Raitoburinga and take in a whiff of the air. Western Perfumes filled my nostrils, and he is close, maybe Halfway to the next town, in the opposite Direction of Tanjiro.

I Quickly dart into that Direction, not giving a Single Damn. within a half-hour, I see my target. He was a Japanese man, in a Western suit. He reeked of blood... Their blood. "What is it, child?" He said in a Domineering voice...this bastard. "You Killed them! You Killed them Didn't you!?!?! You Bastard!!!" I said, as his eyes widened. "So I missed one, huh... oh well, I guess I will simply make you my slave." He said as he Rolled up his sleeve. Pulling up the Katana, I rush him, and swing the blade down over my head, he simply Yawns, before grabbing it with his bare hands. "Impressive. If I had not caught this with my hands, It would've cleaved straight through my head. Your speed is also impressive. You may even be on par with a Lower moon the second you become an Oni, with the ability to surpass even the Upper Moon." he said, as my eyes widened. quicker than I can react his finger is embedded into my forehead, causing me to collapse onto the ground, and pass out. Father, mother anyone... give me strength.

I awoke several hours later, in a house that I was not familiar with. The room was rather blank. The walls were painted white, and the door was painted pitch black. There were no windows, and the smell of fresh tea fed the air. Sitting up, I see a woman in the doorway, standing with a plate of what smells like tea. Shaking, she drops the tray and runs off, screaming. The next minute, an old man is standing in the doorway, with a Katana strapped to his hip. He hesitates for a moment, before stopping and sitting down next to the futon I was laying on. "Uh, Mr. If I may ask, what happened? I should be dead? why am I in your home?" I ask, spitting it out fast, almost as fast as those Machine guns I had heard about from Europe.

"Calm down young man. Please, Start from the beginning, and explain your story, then I will explain my side to you, Ok?" He said as I nodded. For the next hour, I struggled to not cry as I told him the entire story, from me going to check on the bear trap, all the way up to getting impaled by that demons fingers. calmly he nodded, before speaking. "It is sad what you had to go through, but I am sad to say I must give you even more grief. When I found you coming home after retiring from the Demon Slayer Corps, I found you turning into a Demon on the side of the road. Originally, I planned on killing you right then and there, but I sensed something was off. You, Young Tamashiro Kamado are a Demon now, but a Demon whose soul was stolen!" He said, causing me to gasp. Am I really, A Demon?!
