2 Chimichangas!

It's been 84 years...

Nah just kidding.

It's been 4 years since remembered my past life and since my past life had more information and a stronger will it mainly was used for my personality.

I have discovered that I am in Japan now. I was born in the Heian Era, year 915. I am now 9 years old and a pretty handsome boy.

My name is Tenshi Yoru and I have black hair and blue eyes. Jade-like white skin (Cough don't judge me). I am of course an average height for 9 years old. I have a birthmark under the left corner of my eye.

My family is a humble group of swordsmen. They own a dojo and teach people the way of the sword.

My father, Aki Yoru is a man with a handsome appearance with the same hair and eyes as mine. He is 33 years old.

My mother, Hana Yoru is an average-looking woman with black hair and black eyes. She is 31 years old, and she also teaches the sword along with my dad.

I have a pretty loving family. We are not poor, but we are not rich either. We have some connections due to teaching many young kids. I, of course also learn from my parents free of charge but when I'm there I am not their child but a student.

Considering that I was using two swords in my past life and was incredibly used to it I was a genius in the eyes of my family but that's just it, a genius.

I never had a trainer in my past life. I just got better with a sword from experience. In a way, my swordsmanship was still raw. More brute like, with elegancy and unproper.

My parents taught me swordsmanship very well. I left my past self in the dust with knowledge and swordsmanship but not power since I still have a young body.

My father said this swordsmanship was passed down in his family. It was called Yoru style. A style that is composed of 2 stages. Strength and Agility.

My mother's swordsmanship was also passed down to her family. It was called Nagi Style. A style that is composed of 3 stages. Calmness, Balance, and Precision.

Despite what my parents said that learning two styles would stunt my growth, I still did it. I tried to learn both styles and I was still learning now. The easiest one was the Yoru style, agility. However, my favorite one was the Nagi style.

My past life was, chaotic you can say. I never felt like I had peace or calmness. Except for eating chimichangas though.

I'm sure my readers think chimichangas are good too. You better!

Anyways, doing this style was relaxing for me. I was practicing the Nagi style on a rock next to a cherry blossom tree. The wind was light, swaying my long hair. The temperature was warm, neither feeling hot nor cold. My surrounding was quiet, not a bird chirping. Just serene.

Without knowing how much time was passing by I kept on practicing. Maybe hours passed, maybe minutes, maybe none at all.

I stopped and sat down. I was tired.

I lied down and looked at the sky then all of a sudden, I had to scratch my bum.

Don't you hate when that happens when you are just chilling, and you got an itch out of nowhere?

"Tenshi! Dinner! If you don't get inside, I will take your katana."

"..."

What an evil woman, to take away a man's beloved possessions.

Despite what I said, I go back inside the house and eat my dinner with my beloved family.

While having dinner my father asked, "Tenshi, are you going to play with your friends again tomorrow?"

Friends?

"What friends?"

My father looked at me and then sighed. "I am talking about the Akai family. The little girl that always tries to talk to you, Kati Akai?"

I try hard to think of the little girls that always follow me. Oh, wait there are too many. "Dad, which girl are you talking about?"

"Ara~ my son is so popular," My mother said amused.

"I don't get it. He is lazy with stuff other than his swordsmanship. He always wants to go outside to the market, but he doesn't play with his friends He doesn't listen to me about not practicing the Yoru and Nagi styles. Mah! Who could like this stubborn son of mine?" My father pouted.

My mother chuckled, "Maybe this is part of his charm."

I nod my head, "Yep yep, as always mom is right."

My father looks at me and then mom and then back at me, He crosses his arms and straightens his back, "This is the woman I married."

We all laugh.

"But seriously though, who is Kati Akai?" I asked.

My father answered, "The Akai family is the one that makes our swords. Kati Akai is the youngest of their family. We were thinking of getting her acquainted with you."

I look at him straight in the eye. He is avoiding me! "You!" I point at him

"Oh, dear. Looks like things will get troublesome." My mother said quietly.

"You were arranging me a marriage?! I am only 9 years old!" I said in disbelief.

"You are getting older, and you haven't even gotten acquainted with any girl! I and your mother are thinking that you ar-" I interrupted, "NO! STOP! I'm going to lose my mind."

"Your mother and I got to engage at 9 and married at 13. You only focus on your sword and no woman. You don't even have any friends."

"Alright."

"I hope you will- wait what." My father was speechless.

"I will."

"Oh, my husband. You are still too inexperienced." My mother said.

"What do you want boy." My mother asked.

I smile, "I want to go to the market on my own."

My parents looked at each other and began to communicate with their eyes.

Wow, so you can do that when you are married for so long.

"We accept that condition, but you have to meet the girl tomorrow."

"Ergh." I groan but changed my expression to a big smiley one knowing that I would go to the market.

We finished the hard part of today's dinner so now we just have small talk about random things.

After dinner, I grab my sword and go outside.

"Don't stay out for too long." My mother said.

"I know mom."

I went to a big rock, and I started practicing. I did the Yoru style, strength. To do the first stage of the Yoru style, I needed to build up strength. My age prevents me from doing too much and I don't want to look like a guy who has all muscle and no brain.

I practice on a rock every time. It was a big round boulder, and my goal was to cut through. I have only managed to scratch it though.

I start to get ready. I get into my stance and try to cut the boulder. I have done this many times and my progress is immensely slow, but I guess it is supposed to since I'm trying to cut fat and round boulder bigger than my ass.

I started using the sword at 6. A year after I started to remember my past life. The damage I have done to the boulder over the past 3 years was just...

Bad.

I have made scratches and have cut it a little bit but ugh. I don't like it when my progress is slow. I have many years, so it is fine. I will slowly but surely cut this fat ass boulder.

Regardless of my complaining. I am truly enjoying my life. I have a much better family than I did before. I will grow to be better than in my past life and since I wasn't knowledgeable about building and stuff, I can't do much, but I can make some simple inventions.

Any invention from my past life was worth so much money in this one considering how far underdeveloped this place is compared to where I lived before.

Feeling that I have spent long enough doing this I start to relax and do what I do every night.

Stare at the stars. While it is a bit chilly it doesn't matter. The stars are worth it. I used to love the stars. No, I did not use to. I still do. When you stare at the stars you. It is amazing. For me, does it feel peaceful? I don't know how to explain it, but I guess that's the closest I can get to.

I spend some minutes lying on the grass until I decide to get up until my mom yells at me. I walk to my room and get tucked in and start to sleep.

I had a dream.

A good one.

I was sitting on a rock looking at the horizon of the ocean with the cherry blossom tree next to me while its leaves were falling and being carried by the wind.

Then beyond the horizon, I see something big. something that even shadows the sun.

My eyes open wide at the sight in front of me.

SOME HUGE ASS CHIMICHANGAS!

Gimme~ Gimme~ Gimme~
