29 Ch 28:Final Spar

I walk back to my estate, finding my students all worried about me as I didn't say anything about my mission.

"Just where did you go Haru-san?!"

"We all thought you died and all.."

They all wipe their tears while talking in between.

"Sorry for worrying everyone.."I bring them in for a group hug.

"But you should know about the plan no?"I gently pat their heads.

"To protect your loved ones if you do go..."

"That's right! You shall be the ones to protect others that can't if I leave."My tone now gentle and soft.

"Now then I believe it's time for your final gift from me."

They gave me a confused look as they followed me into the estate.

"All of you are ready for your own sword I believe."

I turn around to reveal multiple katanas wrapped in a cloth.

"Trust me when I say it's not easy to forge a sword and to find the right ore and all—"

I get cut off as they tackle me into a hug.

"Haru-san please do make it out alive, we still haven't beaten you yet!"The twins grip onto my haori.

"Careful! The katanas are still being held by me!"I balance it as it almost dropped.

I sigh as they remove themselves from the hug.

"Shall we have one last spar then?"

I unfold the cloth to reveal 13 katanas, the scabbards all coloured to their main breathing styles.

I watch with pride as they unsheathe it and their colours start to form.

"Oh, how I remember you guys to be this small just yesterday.."I wipe a tear from my eye and use my hand to show how short they were.

"Shall we begin?"I head to the door.

"This time, everyone can come at me at the same time."

I stood in the middle of the forest behind the estate as they started to move in coordination.

"Mist breathing,Seventh Form:Obscuring Clouds."

"Water breathing,First Form:Water Surface Slash."

"Flame breathing,First Form:Unknowing Fire."

"Thunder breathing,Fifth Form:Heat Lightning.

"Flower breathing,Fourth Form:Crimson Hanagoromo."

"Wind Breathing,Seventh Form:Gale - Sudden Gusts."

"Hinokami Kagura,Dragon Sun Halo Head Dance."

"Moon breathing,First Form:Dark Moon - Evening Palace."

'Not bad, everyone has grown.'I smile under my mask.

"Lava breathing,Third Form:Molten Lava Dome."

The dome rises as the attacks come, the dome barely got a scratch as I perform the next attack.

Lava breathing,Seventh Form:Obsidian Flame."

The dome comes crashing down revealing the move that starts to form into a raging phoenix, charging at them.

This form allows the user to mix their cores into the attack since mine is a phoenix, it forms as one.

The group gets startled before backing up into the trees.

I dash towards the trees, causing them to burn and disintegrate as the attack continues.

"Ice breathing,Fourth Form:Snowflake's Dance."

His actions sped up as the temperature drops fast to negative.

"Kazemi, you're only going to get injured that way!"My flame continues to burn the trees, making it harder for them to hide.

"Am I?"He yells back.

"Fire Flower breathing,First Form:Fire Vines."

The vines made out of fire springs out from the ground, tangling my feet and causing me to fall onto the ground.

"You little.."I grit my teeth as I look up.

"Now!"

They all gang up on me, pinning me down on each limp.

"Give up yet Haru-san?"

I struggle under their body weight.

"Okay okay, I give up."I sigh, defeated after failing to try to get up.

They cheer as they got up, waiting for my reveal.

I slowly took the mask off to let them see my soft expression at their victory.

"You guys finally won huh?"

"You're so pretty Haru-san!!"Hoshiko launches herself at me.

Shocked, I reach out for her before she could crash into the ground.

"I hope this is a good farewell gift because if not then I have no idea what to get you guys."

"You meeting us was the best gift you could give us."Mako warmly smiles at me as we walk back to the estate.
