===[Author's Note End]===

???- 'Why is that the young must study? Why do some of the most brilliant people not get what they deserve? Why can the rich only receive success?

Rhys asked himself these questions every day of his life after high school.

Rhys was what you COULD have had called a 'genius'. Rhys had been the perfect student back in high school, but he was living with loans.

His parents were the definition of 'garbage', they left him with tens of thousands of dollars of debt in a small dirty apartment with no money. Rhys had to spend the majority of his high school years working just to repay his debt.

When Rhys managed to repay the debt, he was exhilarated. He had FINALLY paid it off, after 3 years of non-stop hard work. However, Rhys had soon begun to regret it, his future was now shattered into pieces.

Rhys' average was barely in the high 70s', had no preparation for the SATs, and had zero connections. Rhys had reassured himself that he will be okay, he will get into a decent college at least.

Everything would have been perfect if he had gotten at least over 1000 on his SAT, but he didn't. The material was harder than Rhys' had imagined and began to regret working to repay the debt, and not paying any attention to his studies.

Rhys had only managed to get into a state college and had more debt. At most, perhaps he can become an office worker with a medium pay; that is exactly what he became.

When he went to work at his company, he saw one of his previous classmates, Bryan Ritcher, a rich boy who had at most a 60 average in school and an even lower SAT than him; yet he was there as a manager, getting a high pay and easy life, all through money...

Rhys groggily sat up from his bed as he slowly walked to the bathroom. Brushed his teeth at a moderate pace, dressed up, and left for work with some bread in his mouth.

Before Rhys knew it, he was on the ground.

???- "Someone call 911!"

???- "Does anyone have water!? At this rate, the fire will spread!"

???- "Carjack! Anyone have a car jack!?"

There was chaos all around Rhys as his vision slowly became red.

Rhys- "Am I dying? After all the work I have done? What was it for? Why... is life so unfair?"

With that last thought, Rhys' eyes became empty and dark, he had passed away.

Rhys woke up in a bright white room, looking around.

Rhys- "Where am I? Didn't I just die?"

???- "Mortal, I am God, and I must apologies to you. In Earth years, 17 years ago I have ripped the corner of a page in the Book of Life, also known as the Akashic Records."

God- "That one small rip caused a chain reaction that caused an unfortunate accident with..."

Rhys- "Me as the victim?"

God- "Yes. On the bright side, no one else was affected. But, in order to repay you for my mistake, I will grant you 3 wishes and send you to another world."

Rhys- "May I know how I was affected in the least?"

God- "Yes, after all, it was my mistake. The rip caused your life to be essentially rewritten, your previous parents who were kind, caring, and hardworking, disappeared from Earth's 'records'. Your parents' existence was basically removed from your life, and all of the money they have spent for the last year became a debt that you had to pay. After that, I believe you know everything."

Rhys- "Hehe... Hehahahaha! It's hilarious how a little rip could make my life crumble."

Rhys- 'You destroyed my life? I will rise to power and destroy yours! If impossible, I will make your life as hard as possible!'

Vowing mentally, Rhys controlled his emotion and put a kind smile on his face.

Rhys- "Fine then, I want to be sent to a fantasy world that is technologically undeveloped, something like the Medival Era."

Rhys- "For my wishes, first, I want to have unlimited potential. Second, I want extremely high comprehension. Lastly, I want to have a random powerful bloodline that has no side effects."

God- "Very well, I hope you have good fortune in your next life."

Rhys smiled at those words as he thought.

Rhys- 'Don't worry about me. I will try my best to f*ck up your life.'

With that Rhys disappeared in a blink.

What are your thoughts on the prologue? Comment, vote, and leave a review. You guys know the drill.

Btw, before you guys go mad commenting about why 'God' didn't know what Rhys was thinking. 'God' is not a God, he's something like a manager I guess.
