28 Chapter 28. Kitty

Andrew's PoV

Meanwhile, Andrew hid behind a wall in the corridor inside the Underground Society. After being separated from Lilieth, several muscular men approached him and forced him to come with them, but he refused. He threw them all with his tentacles and fled from the arena. But when he just slipped among the guests, suddenly the announcement's sound was heard.

"Hello everyone! Today we have good news for all of you. Sir Diorix will give you 100,000 gold coins for anyone who can catch the tentacle man alive! Bring him to the office and the prize will be yours!"

In an instant, all the guests turned their gaze to him. He quickly turned his fingers into tentacles and threw them all as he ran to escape.

It's been almost an hour since he played hide and seek with them, and there are no signs Lilieth will return soon. The sound of footsteps approaching keeps louder and louder. He peeked from his hiding place in the direction where the sound came from. A Minotaur and Lizardman walked towards him. He frowned in confusion.

'What creature is that? I thought I was the weird one. After I saw them, it seemed like I was still normal,' he thought.

He placed his hands on the ground, his fingers turning into tentacles, piercing the ground and spreading towards them. Once they were close enough to him, his tentacles came out of the ground, binding them tightly and covered their mouths, making sure they could not scream. The Minotaur stamped his feet while the Lizardman tried to bite him with his sharp teeth. He lifted their bodies as they struggled violently trying to escape.

-Kkraakk -kkraakk

In one pull, their neck was broken and their bodies hung limply. He released his tentacles from them and turned his fingers back to normal.

-Brraakkk!

Their bodies fell hard on the ground. He gasped in shock, he knew that the noise could lure the other enemies to his place.

'This is bad! I should have dropped them slowly,' he thought as he quickly ran away while turning his head side to side in a panic, looking for a hiding place. He tried to open several doors along the corridor but all the doors were locked. The noisy footsteps could be heard from the end of the hall. He panicked even more after he heard it.

'What should I do? If they catch me, they might turn me into their pet,' he thought in panic. His eyes swept around him trying to find a way out, but nothing...

A crack in the wall gave him an idea. He placed his hand on the crack of the wall, his fingers turning into tentacles and piercing through the room. The tentacles crept toward the lock on the door and opened it.

-cleck!

After he heard the key lock's sound, he pulled his tentacles and immediately entered the room. A few moments after he closed the door, the sound of footsteps mixed with muffled shouts could be heard from outside the room.

"Search him!"

Andrew was silent while covering his mouth hoping they wouldn't find him. Long enough they sounded back and forth in front of the room. After hearing the noisy sound faded past him, he breathed a sigh of relief. He turned his gaze to the room to examine it and was stunned when he saw the room was filled with strange items that he had never seen before. An iron pole with a chain was in the middle of the room, beside it was a strange whip that had many ropes. Elsewhere there are strange handcuffs which have four collars that are connected to chains, a weird eye mask,a strange collar with a ring in the middle of it, strange feathers of various sizes and many more. Andrew saw it in confusion.

"What is this place? Is this a place for torture? Are they also beating up people like the bad guys used to beat me?" He muttered. He approached a strange whip that looked like a horse whip and took it. He rotated the whip in his hand as he examined it.

"But why do these things look different?"

Suddenly he shuddered and felt someone watching him in the room. A shadow moved rapidly toward him. He turned his hands into tentacles that moved quickly to form a wall to protect himself. The shadow bounced back when touched it.

"How dare you touch my master's belongings, nya~" said the shadow.

He peered through the gap in his tentacle wall and got panicked again.

'Oh shit! It's the cat girl!'

The cat girl looked at him with an displeased expression, her tail wagging quickly, her eyes staring sharply at him. But then a smirk spread on her lips.

"Kitty has found her prey, nya~"
