4 Riphailinth, The Young One

Aysel, the mother of Ruby, brought him some warm milk because her baby was making too much noise in the middle of the night.

"Eiyyah"(I am hungry, give me milk)

Aysel looked exhausted.

"Wait... , if I die from overwork, no one else will give you milk."

Ruby was the complete opposite, he was brimming with excitement.

"Eiyyah" (I am very hungry, you don't want me to die from malnutrition, do you?)

Aysel tiredly filled Ruby's milk bottle.

"You are starting to look oval. You need to go on a diet. Girls don't play with fat babies. Here you go, drink this and stop crying."

After drinking the milk, Ruby was on cloud nine, Aysel's heart melted looking at her cute baby's shananigans.

"You are such a good boy. You are growing too fast, Will you love your mama after getting a girlfriend?"

Ruby replied nochalantly.

Aysel was disappointed by her baby's lack of affection.

Ruby could understand that he made a mistake and turned on his cute mode.

Aysel was getting emotional for some reason, her eyes were shining like rubies. and were a little wet.

"Don't look at me with those puppy dog eyes. How can I refuse if you make such a cute face? Promise even if you don't love mama, don't hate your papa. You have only one papa, and his name is Gabriel. No matter what anyone may tell you, don't believe them. Got it?"

Ruby understood that her mama was no longer mad and was very proud of himself.

After drinking his milk, satisfied with his acting, Ruby fell asleep. He should enjoy these moments of peace as much as he can, while they last.

Ruby's first birthday came. Time was passing very fast for the mother and daughter pair. The roof of the room and his comfy cradle was covered with balloons, a huge black banner with the number 1, and letters H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y were put on the wall. The golden dim lighting was filling the ambiance making his room look like something out of a fairytale.

After Ruby was placed in his crade comfortably by his parents Aysel and Gabriel into the cradle, they started attending to guests. Guest started coming at 4 in the afternoon and didn't stop till 7 in the night. A buffet was placed with the finest foods. And on the opposite corner from the buffet, a live orchestra was performing songs, and couples, including the birthday boy's parents, were dancing.

Chefs started to prepare the dinner because they thought no one else will come this late, but late at night a loud announcement was made by the queen's herald from the door.

A beautiful lady, with a hint of a woman's charm, took her entry. She was wearing a long robe, whose ends were dragging along the floor. She had a crown whose shine could blind anyone and beauty to steal your heartbeat. Her beautiful smile was flattering everyone irrespective of their gender.

Everyone gathered around the carpet and bowed down to pay their respects to the queen.

Her two horns were a little curved, going upwards with pointed ends. The horns shined like diamonds and gave an aura that attracted everyone, but only a fool would dare approach them as it felt like they could cut iron clean in half easily. The aura of power around her was comparable to that of Gabriel's aura. Everyone who saw her asked the same two questions."

Who is she, and how can someone so beautiful and this thin be so strong?"

She took graceful steps, walking towards the ex-center of attention of this party, Ruby. She greeted back everyone arrogantly, while seemingly bored.

Holier then thou persona was flooding out from her. She reached the cradle and picked up Ruby by his shoulders, which made Ruby angry.

"Eiyahh"(Who are you put me down.

Riplhailinth was amused by the little kid's arrogant attitude.

"Aren't you a feisty one little fellow?"

After which she playfully pressed Ruby's nose.

"Eiyah"(Don't boop the snoot)

"Eiyahh" (Let me play with my tot wheels, or I will hit you.)

"You dare act arrogant in front of this queen?"

Ruby was annoyed by her, he just wanted to play with his new toys.

"Eiyah, Eiyah!!"(If you don't put me down, I will, I will, what will I do? I will grab your horns. )

And Ruby started lashing out in her hands."

"You dare touch me? Her majesty will teach you how a good baby should act."

"Eiyah, Eiyah , Eiyah, EIYAH!" (three, two, one.., ATTACK!)

Ruby was tired of Riphlailinth's arrogance.

"Eiyah"(I want horns, gimme those hornss.)

Ruby started pulling on the queen's horns, and her majesty released a small moan. It seems like the horns of her majesty are very sensitive. Everyone started giggling, but they stopped as soon as the queen glared at them. Her eyes seemed to negate their bravery. An eerie silence befell the room.

The queen was pouting. It seemed like hot steam was coming out of her ears and nose. She tried her best to get rid of Ruby, but he grabbed her horns like a koala inhabiting a eucalypt tree.

"Eiyahh!!!"(That's what happens with anyone who boops my snoot, you filthy peasant.)

Ruby noticed the lack of response, and how Riphlailinth's face was bright red.

Eiyaah??( why are you making a weird face, are you impressed by my beauty?)

The queen was getting angrier by the moment. She has never suffered such humiliation before. Her body temperature kept rising, and her horns started glowing like the filament of an oven. Ruby gave a cry of pain when her mother Aysel came and punched the queen on her head.

The queen picked Ruby again and now kept him at her eye level, away from her horns. To get revenge, she kept squeezing his cheeks.

"Eiyaah"(You degenerate woman. Is this what they call sexual harassment?)

Ruby felt good, so he forgave her this time, and according to Ruby, this was payback for touching her horns, so now they are even.

But, Ruby was wondering who was she? Her majesty had beautiful clothes and a crown on her head. Ruby mistook her as an Angel because of her Mom, who kept telling him stories about Angels from time to time.

Ruby was wondering, where is that irresponsible dad of his? That degenerate dad of his is talking with others and not taking care of his only son. He was pretty muscular. Ruby thought It would be best for him to be on his father's good side.

The queen suddenly grabbed Ruby's face with her palm. Riphilainith's palm started glowing green, which relieved all possible stress and muscle soreness a one-year-old can have. Ruby felt good, it was warm like someone started a fire in the middle of a cold night, so after the initial discomfort, Ruby allowed her to keep doing what she was doing. In thirty seconds, he was fast asleep. One would wonder who was the actual royalty here.

Ruby's mom sighed, watching her precious baby fall asleep in the hands of her best friend. She was a bit jealous, but she didn't give any hint about these emotions.

The queen had a wide grin on her face and was patting Ruby's head softly.

"What a naughty child, He slept before receiving his gift, Thomas was so excited to meet him, and I wanted to introduce little Eris to Ruby too."

Next day Ruby woke up wearing a beautiful scarf and a cute pup by his side.
