The Demon King's Love Story!

"Demon King, Hades! I'm Persephone the World's Hero, will now end your corruption!" A brave, shoulder-length pink-haired woman clad in silver lightweight armor and armed with the finest rapier shouted to the 2-meters tall pale-skin handsome dark-haired man, armed with pitch-black heavy dragon armor on the magnificent dark purple throne as her soft hair flapped in the air.

Upon hearing Persephone's declaration, instead of getting infuriated by it, Hades flashed a joyful smile on his face and slowly stood up. He then calmly brushed-up his dark hair with his right hand, revealing his well-sculpted face, that can make even gods fall in love with him.

Releasing a short chuckle, Hades then eyed the beautiful woman, Persephone in the distance. "What a beautiful day, my precious Persophone actually visit this uncharming, single, and poor King which utterly surprised and make me happy at the same time. What can I do for you, Milady?"

Hades ignored Persephone's initial declaration as he ended his speech with a graceful bow.

Furrowing her perfect arc-shaped brows, Persephone was perplexed and dumbfounded at Hades' weird response. She's here to kill him but, she never expects to receive this kind of response from the evilest demon king of the entire generation. Controlling back her emotions, Persephone then unsheathed her rapier that brightly shone in the dark castle of the demon king. As though it was filled with divine power.

"It seems like doing uncountable bad things fried your small brain!" Persephone ridiculed softly, enough for Hades to hear. "Even so, It won't stop me from my goal! I will get your head today!" She proclaimed once again, as she was about to move forward but was halted by Hades plead.

"W-Wait! Could you hear me out first?!"

"Hmm. If it's your last word then, go ahead! I'm listening."

'She's sure prideful and hot-headed. Nevertheless, she's truly captivating!' He thought on his mind as he calmly sat back on his throne. He then slowly crossed his legs as though he never put the hero in his eyes.

"Thank you. Where should I begin…" Hades then held his chin and contemplate on his mind. He's waiting for this meeting for years, he can't lose this chance. He needs to say what he always wanted since the first time he saw Persephone.

"You only have a minute. If you're not going to say anything, I will end you now." Persephone said as she observed the busy thinking Hades.

Upon hearing Persephone's reminder, Hades immediately lifted his head and said in panic. "Yes, yes. First of all, I'm grateful that you visit my place tho it's not for a good reason. Anyway, I just want to tell you that ever since you became well-known as the world's hero, you instantly caught my attention. Since then, I start to watch you from the dark, there is a time where you were about to get violated by your companion but there's a wanderer saved you from that incident, and I just want to tell you that it was me. I'm in love with you. It's love at first sight. Please, can we stop this and be my Queen?"

Hades ended his dialog and reached out his right hand, hoping to get a positive answer from Persophone as he spread the corner of his lips into a wide smile.

Contrary to the bright expression of Hades, Persephone had a complex expressions. At first, she was disgusted by Hades' words, however, her expression changed once again when Hades mentioned that unforgettable incident. It was night time, her best friend and the only companion to this journey attempted to get the way in her. Since it was after a heavy fight with a demon's army, she was exhausted at that time to defend herself. Fortunately, there's a person who came at the right time and helped her. Although she was surprised at the Hades' proclamation, she can't whole-heartedly believe at the demon king's words.

"If you're trying to get my mind shaken then, you're bound to get failed. I'm immune in mind control, I also tempered my emotions to the fullest just for this day. And for your confession, I will never love someone like you…" Persephone spoke with a loud voice as she activated her skill on her mind.

Fwoosh!

Divine golden light covered her body as she teleported in front of Hades. And quickly thrust her rapier forward with a speed of sound towards Hades's heart while shouting. "DIE!!!"

Hades watch this motionless, if he's in good condition, it will be a piece of cake for him to dodge her attack. However, his heart was devastated by Persephone's rejection.

Puchi! Persephone easily penetrated Hades's heart.

"W-Why can't you love someone like me?" Hades questioned as blood gushed out of his mouth.

"I can't see any reason why should I love someone like you." Persephone cold-heartedly responded as she narrowed her brows. She wondered why seems like the demon king is different from what she heard from others.

"T-Then, let me change my question... W-What kind of person you will love?"

Upon hearing the Demon King's question, Persephone turned silent as she asked herself. 'What kind of a man that I will love?' After contemplating for a moment, she spoke and looked straight at the demon king's eyes. "If you're just a normal human, a humble one, a good-natured person, I don't care if you're weak then I would probably love you."

"I see…" Hades flashed a smile in understanding as his body turned into uncountable black small lights and float in the air.

Persephone watched this event with a complex expression as she thinks of the demon king's question. 'Am I eligible to have a love life?'

She kept thinking that as she reported back her victory to the humans. Thus, the human celebrated as the demonkins was pushed and forced to hide from the surface, and the planet entered the era of peace.

After 1 year in the ruined forest of the small village, black small lights could be seen converging into a single location, and it didn't take long as the black lights turned to a human figure. Then, with a deafening explosion, a handsome long jet-black-haired naked man suddenly appeared out of nowhere. The man then mumbled. "So, it's a human, humble, and good-natured person, huh? Wait for me, my precious Persephone."
