The two Heavenly Angels!

Mingmei got ready for the work. Ning Li told her that she would be around her but be invisible. "You can be invisible?," asked Mingmei curiously.

"Yes. Well many can. Lord Haya has given me a potion which will reduce my demonic scent," answered Ning Li politely.

"But you can't roam wearing these clothes. I mean you're in the human realm where you have to wear clothes like human wear. So, today we will do some shopping for you. Till then you can wear this dress. It will fit you," murmured Mingmei and handed a dress to Ning Li.

Ning Li thanked her and went inside the washroom to change them. By then Mingmei cleaned the house and after some time she left for work. Ning Li looked at the huge skyscrapers in the city. "Earth has really many interesting things to see. How could humans build such structures?," murmured Ning Li.

"Ahh the technology has increased. Machines are there to make such marvellous structures. I'll tell you more about this later," said Mingmei and they stepped inside the bus.

After an hour they arrived at Mingmei's workplace. "Okay, Mingmei. You should go inside. I'll be nearby," stated Ning Li. Mingmei nodded and went inside the gate while Ning Li made herself invisible and walked behind her.

"Mingmei, where were you for so many days? Sir is very angry at you," murmured her colleague, Yuri.

Mingmei was panicked hearing this. She ran towards the office cabinet of Dao Shi Wan. Knocking at the door she got inside. She greeted him and apologized to him for not coming for five days.

"Your phone was off for all the five days. At least you should've informed the department. Such unprofessional behaviour won't be allowed. Here this is your resignation letter. We were happy to have you as our employee. The salary of last month has been transferred to your account already." Stated Dao Shi.

"No sir, I mean….please listen to me. You can't fire me." Said Mingmei in a low voice. Her eyes were filled with tears.

"You should leave now," said Dao Shi gesturing towards the door. Mingmei couldn't believe that her fate once again played a game with her. She didn't say anything and quietly walked out of the office.

She came out of the office building and sat on a bench there in the garden. Ning Li appeared in front of her and asked why she had come out.

"They fired me. I wasn't regular on the job. I didn't inform them...I..I.." saying this she started crying. "This all happened because of Xuan. Now, how will I survive?," murmured Mingmei while sobbing. She then put her palms on her eyes and ran out from there. Ning Li ran after her.

She passed the crowd while running. Ning Li ran after her but among the crowd it was difficult for her. Moreover, she couldn't use powers as she wasn't aware how many demons were in the surrounding.

Mingmei kept running till her legs gave up. Ning Li saw her and slowed down. Mingmei wiped off her tears and without looking on her right and left, stepped forward when a speeding car came towards her. She turned to look when she felt a pull.

Someone pulled her with a great force and the next second she fell on someone. "Ahhh," screamed Mingmei but she felt as if she was over someone. Ning Li came running to her. Mingmei raised her head to look at the person and was mesmerized to see her.

A man in white clothes with a black leather jacket saved Mingmei. For a few seconds she just stared at the man and then immediately got up. She then helped the man in getting up. "Mingmei are you fine?," asked Ning Li with a worried look and then looked at the man. She too was mesmerized to see him, especially his eyes.

"Are you fine?" Finally the man spoke in his soft voice. Mingmei nodded and thanked him. The guy took out a handkerchief from inside his pocket and wiped off the tears from Mingmei's cheek. Mingmei looked at him in shock and stepped back.

"Ahh, I think you were crying. Here, take this and wipe your face," offered the man. "Don't worry it's clean," said the man with a gentle smile which was carved on his lips.

Mingmei took the handkerchief from him and wiped her face gently. She then thanked him. "I'm Li Xiaorong," the man introduced himself.

"Ahh, I'm Mingmei and this is Ning Li."

"Okay Mingmei. I think we should first go to the clinic because your hand is wounded," said Xiaorong, keeping a smile on his lips. Mingmei looked at her hand and said, "thank you for saving me. I can go...You don't need to worry."

"No, no Mingmei. Come with me," said Xiaorong. Mingmei couldn't refuse him so decided to go. Ning Li too followed them. They went to the other side of the road to the clinic. After the doctor treated her wound Xiaorong told her to tell the address as he would drop them to their home.

"We will go. You've already done much," said Mingmei in a low voice. Xiaorong's phone rang so he excused himself. After 5 minutes he came back to them. "Well, sorry to bother you. I have to go back. Mingmei please take care of yourself," said Xiaorong.

Mingmei again thanked him when a black car came there. Xiaorong got into the car and left from there.

"His smile is so charming," murmured Mingmei with a smile. Ning Li agreed to her. Mingmei then realized she's jobless.

"Lord Haya told me that I will get a good job but my only support job is gone. This is bad," murmured Mingmei looking at Ning Li.

"You should tell the young master about this." Ning Li gave an option to Mingmei.

"This all happened because of him. I will never tell him. I know he put a curse on me," blurted out Mingmei in anger and started walking. Ning Li walked beside her.

"Now, I've to work again in some store," murmured Mingmei. Ning Li didn't say anything and just kept walking with Mingmei.

In the air two angels were looking at Mingmei. One of them was in a white dress with long black hair. Her eyes were beautiful and mesmerising. The other one was in a purple dress and had a slight curly hair. She has a beautiful smile which enhanced her beauty several fold. The two heavenly angels were observing Mingmei for almost two hours.

"So, this is the human of whom we have to take care of," said one of them.

"Yes, Meili Yangzi. Bingbing has told us to be careful in this task else consequences can be worse." Yang zi Gongzhu, the other angel replied in a humble way.

"What if war will happen? What if the door of hell opened up just like at the time of great demon was?," inquired Meili Yangzi curiously.

"Humans will come in danger. Demons will destroy this world," answered Gongzhu in a serious tone. Meili looked at Gongzhu with a worried look.
