28 I can't kill you

Xuan and Ming Si looked at Linyang surprisingly when he told them that the bracelet has a powerful spell performed on it which was prohibited a long time ago in the demonic realm.

"What are you saying Linyang? Love?? I mean why would someone use this spell when its use is banned a long ago?," asked Xuan.

"Young master maybe it was meant for someone else but because you touched it so this bracelet has caught you," said Linyang. Fei Ming Si turned to Xuan. Worriedness was visible on Ming Si's face.

"Xuan, someone learnt about you and Mingmei. This thing is placed There intentionally and it was a trap for you. Linyang isn't there any way to remove this?," asked Ming, looking at Linyang but he refused saying that the person is forced to fall in love with the person for whom it was meant.

"Ahh….Let's not talk about this. Future is uncertain so how come this bracelet will decide my days," mumbled Xuan and got up from his seat. He thanked Linyang and they disappeared from there.

Arriving at Ming Si's house Xuan looked at the bracelet and turned to Ming Si. "Hey, you know about charms well. Use your knowledge and find a way to get me rid of this," muttered Xuan, looking at the bracelet in his hand.

Ming Si sat on the couch with his head resting on it and said, "Xuan, you'll now fall in love with Mingmei. What would you do now? I mean if you try to run away this will make you feel pain in your heart. Let me kill that Human and then everything will be fine."

Xuan looked at Ming Si but kept mum. Ming Si raised his head to look at Xuan and said, "Well I'm saying it for your safety. I mean I'll kill her and then everything will be fine. You can get that immortal drink. Sacrifices are needed for such things. Moreover she has no one in this world so there will be no one to mourn for her." Ming Si was smiling while explaining the things to Xuan.

"You want to kill a human just to save me??," asked Xuan. The anger was visible in his eyes.

Ming Si got up from the couch. He walked near Xuan and asked, "then do you have any other way?"

Xuan looked at him in disbelief. "I don't have now. But I can find it too. Why to kill her when she has no relation with this thing," stated Xuan.

Ming Si smiled and said, "Xuan don't tell me you are starting caring for her."

"I'm not caring Ming Si. I'm stating the fact. You know that demons can't interfere in the human realm neither can angels. Why kill her just because she is my bride? There must be some other way," saying this Xuan disappeared from there. Ming Si got worried because it was looking as if everything was going according to the prophecy.

Xuan was at the bridge, looking at the water below flowing below that. He was thinking about the thing which captured his hand and according to Linyang will make me fall for his bride. "How can such a stupid thing work? It's impossible. Linyang has become old so maybe his mind isn't working right," murmured Xuan and tried taking out the bracelet from his hand.

A sudden pain started growing up again in his chest part and he touched his chest. He felt as if his heart was crushed by some pointed chains. He started screaming as it was unbearable for him. He fell on the floor of the bridge still holding his chest. "Ahhhh…," Xuan winced in pain. A woman with long white hair, white dress was coming to his direction. Xuan wasn't able to hold the pain and his eyes started closing when he felt someone touch his heart and forehead.

The pain started vanishing and it was a soothing feeling. He got relieved as the pain vanished entirely. Gradually opening his eyes he found the lady's face which was illuminating like a light source, her long white hair enhancing her beauty in a strange way, the white robes were looking perfect on her body.

The lady touched Xuan's forehead again. Xuan raised his head from her lap and asked, "who are you? You don't seem from this realm."

"I'm the mother of angels," said the lady.

Xuan felt it was strange. "Mother of angels is helping a Demon. Indeed we have joined hands to maintain balance on the earth but I never expected that Angels' mother would help me," mumbled Xuan and got up from the floor. "Well thanks for helping me," said Xuan.

The lady smiled. "I should go now," muttered Xuan and was ready to leave when mother Angel said, "Xuan, don't try to take out that bracelet. You're lucky that you didn't die. It has a powerful charm on it. Let destiny flow as it wants to be." Xuan was going to say something when the mother Angel disappeared from there.

"Why did she come here? Why would a mother angel freely roam in this world?" There were many questions in Xuan's mind but he did not have the answers to any of those questions.

Mingmei went out to buy some groceries when she came across her ex-boyfriend. She ignored him in the supermarket and kept on putting the essentials in the cart. Wao Xiu came to her and asked if she could have a talk with him but Mingmei ignored him.

Paying the bills she was waiting for Yang Dao and Feng Lui outside the store when Wao Xiu came there.

"Mingmei, it's just once. Let's have a talk," murmured Wao Xiu.

"Xiu Ping, you're forgetting that we have already broken up," said Mingmei with an affirmed voice.

"Indeed, but just once. We were friends before we got into this relationship," said Wao Xiu with pleading eyes. Mingmei told him to say everything quick.

"Mingmei, we can go to the nearby cafe. Let's go then we can talk comfortably," said Wao Xiu. Mingmei looked at her watch and then left with him for the cafe.

"Two Americanos please, "ordered Wao Xiu.

"Please give a latte, not Americano," ordered Mingmei. The guy at the counter nodded and gave them their respective coffees. They sat near the window side.

"What do you want to say?," asked Mingmei.

"Mingi let's get together," said Wao Xiu with a smile. Mingmei couldn't believe her ears. Giving a slight laugh she muttered, "we are over. You cheated me and that day was the end."

"Mingi, please forgive me," pleaded Wao Xiu.

Mingmei looked at him in disbelief and then snapped at him, "Xiu Ping I don't want to. Now don't bother me as it won't be good. You betrayed me and now you want me to get back to you. It's not a play, it's about my life."

Saying this she got up from the chair when Wao Xiu said, "is it because of your new lover? He doesn't know anything about you Mingi. Just break up with him."

Mingmei yelled at Wao Xiu and told him to stop assuming things. The people in the cafe looked in their direction. Mingmei carried the bags and walked out from there. She was getting furious so she walked quickly when Wao Xiu held her arm and told her to listen to him once. Mingmei tried releasing her hand but he didn't let her go.

Xuan Hao appeared there and held Wao Xiu's hand tightly. Mingmei looked at Xuan and told him not to be harsh. Xuan looked at Mingmei and said, "Why is this guy still behind you?" Wao Xiu threw a punch at Xuan when he was looking at Mingmei. Xuan turned to him and touched his cheek.

Xuan smiled and said, "human this is your last mistake of your life." Saying this, Xuan stopped the time and then grabbed Wao Xiu's neck. "This is the end of your life," said Xuan with an evil smile and almost hit him at the heart when Mingmei held Xuan's hand.

"Get away," shouted Xuan at Mingmei.

"Don't kill him. He won't trouble you," mumbled Mingmei.

Xuan released Wao Xiu's neck and then whispered in his ear, "Human, don't ever show me your face because if you ever show me your face then that day would be your last day on this earth." Wao Xiu looked at Xuan with a terrified look.

"Who are you?," asked Wao Xiu while stammering.

"Your death," replied Xuan with a smirk. The time continued and everything got back to the normal. Wao Xiu looked around but Mingmei and Xuan weren't there.

"Why did you frighten him?," asked Mingmei, putting the bags on the table in her house.

"I said the truth," said Xuan and took out a juice bottle from the fridge.

"Still he must have been scared the way you talked with him," mumbled Mingmei while taking out the essentials from the bag. Xuan sat on the chair there and started drinking the juice.

"Wait, how did you find me?," asked Mingmei and turned to Xuan.

Xuan put down the bottle on the table there and said, "you're my bride so your scent of course."

"But then why aren't other demons able to find me?," asked Mingmei.

"Because you're my bride, the young master's bride. Who will dare to touch you? He won't want to face death," stated Xuan.

"You love killing people," joked Mingmei while asking and smiled.

"No, until the person makes me do it," answered Xuan.

"Then it means if I'll make you angry then you will kill me?," asked Mingmei jokingly.

"I can't kill you," replied Xuan and they both looked into each other's eyes.
