"Ashera now that the challenges for your position have slowed down it is the perfect time to begin the challenge for the rest of the Progenitor positions. All the preparations have already finished and all that is needed is your permission." Rufus suddenly said one day as we were eating making Alaric look up from his plate of so much food a normal human would explode.

"You have my permission but there will be a change of plans. Invite the leaders of the three factions. It could be a good show of trust between us. Oh yeah, let them bring a group or two of their younger members like Sirzechs and Serafall's siblings. They could learn something." I said before continuing my meal while Alaric shoveled food faster than light itself.

"I'll send the instructions Ashera. Please excuse me." Rufus said before he excused himself, probably to go finish all the work left. I'll need to get him a break soon since even vampires can get tired, maybe I'll get some high-quality blood for him. I guess I should-

"Alaric he's here again." I said while sighing and rubbing my temple. This is the third time this week.

"Do you want me to take care of it?" Alaric said with his bored voice and an adorable head tilt. Even though he's a vampire I would definitely think of him as a cat and not a bat.

"No I'll take care of it you can keep eating." I said while standing up and teleporting into the arena where I swear I meet this bastard daily.

"Oh your here Lord Ashera! You couldn't wait to see me is it?" An annoying white-haired man with his hair styled in a ponytail wearing a white military outfit with black highlights and a red bow tie said to me in an annoyingly jovial tone that reminds me of the bastard that ripped out my heart.

"Why are you here again Ferid?" I said in a cold tone that should definitely show my annoyance at his appearance in my castle. This man was Ferid Bathory the new head of the Bathory family after I killed his father and brothers who revolted against me along with some other nobles. However for some reason, he looks exactly like Ferid from Owari no Seraph but I can confirm that he isn't a reincarnation or special at all, he is just a normal vampire who looks like him, though he is insane like the anime Ferid.

"Of course to see you! When you declared yourself as the 1st Progenitor I was so excited! The boring life that I led before was turned on its head! I just had to meet-" He said in his annoying voice so I did the only natural thing in this situation. I cut off his arm.

"Ah, my arm has fallen off~! That isn't very kind Lord Ashera~." He said while placing his arm on the stump where it would be while it quickly reattached itself. I may hate his attitude but Ferid is strong. He is definitely the most likely person to become the first 3rd Progenitor since he's only just below Rufus and Alaric in strength. Actually, you know what? That's a great way to get him away from me for now.

"Ferid soon there will be a tournament for the positions of Progenitor with the leaders of the three races in attendance. If you are able to become the 3rd Progenitor I will give you any one thing you wish for. However, I will only give it to you if I believe your effort deserves my effort so give a good show for them, show them the vampires are not to be trifled with." I said in a serious voice while looking at him. I don't need the three leaders to know that we're not to be messed with, I need the populace to know. If they know we are a threat to them if we decide to invade the idea of an alliance will be much more welcomed.

"Oh~? A wish you say! I'll make sure to do my utmost best Lord Ashera! Please excuse me I must prepare at once!" Ferid said as he flew away since teleporting can't be done in my castle unless I allow it, and I totally banned Ferid from teleporting here.
