57 Healed At Last!

Feng Hei Lang headed towards the headmaster office and knocked twice. Zhong Qiu's voice called from within. "Come in."

She pushed the door open and he looked up. "Ah, Student Hei Lang. Yes, I called you here."

She dipped her head. "Headmaster Zhong Qiu, is there something you need from me?"

He nodded. "Master Xue is looking for you. You can head there after the assembly tomorrow. That is all."

She dipped her head once more. "Yes, Headmaster Zhong Qiu." Feng Hei Lang quickly exited the office. 'I completely forgot about Master Xue! I better tell her where I was tomorrow...'

Feng Hei Lang headed back to her room. 'I'll head to Kirei later to pick up the antidote. For now, let me just head back to my room!'

She quickly entered her room and looked at its empty floor again. 'I should really find a desk or a bed to put in here...It's quite empty.' Feng Hei Lang thought back to what happened when Kirei and Kang Lei saw her while heading through the entrance to Hu Li University.

She frowned. 'Do I really have something on my face?' Feng Hei Lang pulled out the mirror she got from the very first time she learned the skill, [Human Form Part One].

She almost dropped the mirror. Feng Hei Lang blinked a few times, staring at it. 'Is this seriously me? Did this happen after the evolution?'

Her hair was straight and dark black, which contrasted to the white puffs of fur on her fox ears. Her face was smooth and a light skin tone, which made her slightly rosy cheeks and lips stand out.

Feng Hei Lang now looked exactly as she did in her past life, but as if she put on makeup. Her fox ears and tails simply made her look even cuter. She stared at the mirror and let out a little giggle. 'I look like a cat-girl~'

She still frowned at the way Kirei and Kang Lei reacted though. 'If everyone is going to stare like that, that'll be SO bothersome. Maybe I should cover my face? If only I had a wolf mask like I did in my previous life...Wait. I could make one with [Shadow Manipulation]!'

Feng Hei Lang closed her eyes and imagined the mask in her head. She changed the shape to more like a fox mask though. She opened her eyes and saw an upper-half black mask lying in her hand. Feng Hei Lang put it on and noticed that she could see clearly through it.

She quickly picked up the mirror once more. Now, all anyone could see where her pinkish lips. Feng Hei Lang smiled. 'This'll settle it. Anyways, I better grab the antidote and then go sleep to prepare for my morning classes!'

Feng Hei Lang exited her small room and went up the stairs in the dormitory towers. 'He said either his Gold Rank or Platinum Rank room is fine. I'll just head to the Gold Rank one then!'

She quickly walked up a few flights of stairs before stopping at the floor for the Gold Rank rooms. Feng Hei Lang saw an attendant at a desk in the center, so she quickly walked over. "Excuse me?"

The male fox looked up to see her. "Yes?"

She asked, "Do you know where Student Kirei Ren's room is?"

The male fox looked down again. "You may not enter his room without permission."

Feng Hei Lang frowned. "But I do have permission from him. May you please tell me where his room is?"

The male fox sighed. "Student Kirei Ren only gives permission to specific foxes. If he would let you in, he would have told me."

At that moment, a hand reached behind the male fox. "I did give her permission."

Feng Hei Lang looked up to see Kirei. The male fox jumped up in surprise. "My apologies, Student Kirei. You may follow him."

She followed Kirei as he pushed open a door in the hallway. Inside, there was lots of room. A large, comfy bed sat in one corner, while the rest was covered by a rug and a desk. 'How unfair! This is truly biased treatment!' She softly grumbled under her breath.

Kang Lei pulled out a small vial from his spatial pouch. "Here. Just drink it and you'll be cured."

Feng Hei Lang grabbed it and drank it in one breath. It tastes musty and a little slimy. She wiped her mouth and placed down the vial. "Is that all?"

He nodded. "You're good now."

She nodded and thanked him. It seemed surprisingly simple for such a deadly poison. Feng Hei Lang quickly slipped out and started walking down the stairs back towards her room. 'Time to take a nice and long nap! I"m surprised he didn't ask about the mask...But anyways, it's time to rest!'

Feng Hei Lang slipped back into her room and called Xing out. He was asleep, so she let out lay there. She quickly shifted back into fox form. She could curl up into a ball and easily sleep this way.

She quickly curled up and closed her eyes. 'I wonder what's going to happen at the assembly tomorrow...I wanna know what the tournament is about! Anyways, I got to rest...' Feng Hei Lang peeked at Xing. He was still in cat form since it took up less room. She murmured, "Goodnight, Xing..."

Then, Feng Hei Lang fell into a deep and restful sleep.
