Chapter 1: Lazy Young Master

It has already been 16 years since I have arrived in this strange new world. At first, I panicked upon realizing that I had been reincarnated back as a baby but was, later on, able to accept everything.

The only strange thing is that when I try to recall who I was in the past, I couldn't. It feels like there is some kind of lock preventing me from accessing my past memories. But I do know that I am a reincarnated person and I can't explain how I know of these.

The only memories that I remember are the different techniques and skills that my past self must have learned. And through this, I was able to formulate who I was supposed to be in the past.

Burning Sword Cleave. Black Lightning Repulsion. Acid Wave. Ice Tsunami. Immortal Fist. World Steps…. and many other techniques and skills not even known in this world.

With this large arsenal of techniques and skills, I guess that I must have been in the army in my past. And how I arrive at this conclusion, even I had no idea as I had just thought of it.

Anyways, my past self must have been a godly genius since I am so lazy, from what others call me. But I am just conserving my energy from doing meaningless things. Not that I am not doing anything at all since I have found a very helpful technique from my past memories.

Using my intelligence to its maximum, I was able to modify it into becoming a Hyper Geno Art, which is really famous in this world. My new family also taught me Hyper Geno Arts passed down from our ancestors but it was slightly inferior to the Heaven grade techniques from my memory.

Even so, I still practiced it in order not to be suspicious. It was really easy so I finished it in months which cause quite a stir in our family. Saying that I was a godly genius and they were praising me really hard like I would die without it.

It was annoying so I chose to stay in my room most of the time. They all thought that I spend my time training every day but they were all wrong. HAHAHA… training is too much work and wastes a lot of my energy.

With the Absolute Dream Mantra, my body will be enhanced that it would be equivalent to an evolver at the initial level of its early phase. But sleeping for about 18 hours a day for 16 years, I have already reached the peak of the first phase and now had fitness of about 200 or so. I have not really tested it yet since I still haven't got the time for that.

I also thought of practicing all the other techniques from my past but decided against it and decided to just practice one for offense, defense, movement, and auxiliary.

I don't really need to train on a lot of Hyper Geno Arts since I can already overpower most of the creatures from the First God's Sanctuary. Oh yeah, the God's Sanctuary I am talking about is actually another dimension in this world.

In God's Sanctuary, there will be creatures where one could have a chance to get a beast soul when killed. Beast souls are useful tools that come in all kinds of forms and appearances.

It can be used to enhance the human body by changing into a beast, summon a weapon or armor, or even a pet that can transform after eating a certain amount of food and can be used in combat.

There are so many beast souls that humans have not discovered all of it after so many centuries. My family may be a powerful one but even they only have limited access to rare beast souls.

"Brother!!!" a loud voice of a girl can be heard, her voice was very tender and sweet to hear but to me, it was the voice of the person I am afraid the most.

The door to my room was kicked open as a girl entered, without stop, she launched herself towards me. As much as I want to dodge her, I do not want to hear her annoying hours of cry again. So I did not move and just waited for her to hit me.

*Boom

We rolled on top of my large bed as she sat on top of me, with a happy smile on her face she said.

"Happy Birthday Big bro!!" She was really excited as she said that.

"It is also your birthday you know," I said to her. And yes, we are twins.

"Then it's Happy Birthday to us!" she corrected herself.

I smiled at my little sister, although she's really annoying I must admit that I am quite fond of her bubbly personality.

"Happy Birthday to you too, Meng'er." Her name's Wang Mengmeng by the way and if you look at her cute face, then you can already tell that I am handsome like hell. And my parents even doubt whether my mother cheated my father since I don't look like my father. I can't blame him though since I obviously got my looks from my mother.

"Thank you, big bro!" Wang Mengmeng then started sniffing me as she hugs me while I lay on the bed.

"What are you doing here by the way?" I asked her not minding what she is doing. You will eventually get used to something once it gets repetitive and Wang Mengmeng does this almost every time she sees me. Saying that I have a really pleasant smell.

"Oh yeah! Father said he had something to give us so he asks me to get you." Wang Mengmeng said.

I guess it's about time huh? It was not really hard to guess what father will give us since we had already turned 16, we are now eligible to enter the God's Sanctuary. A very dangerous place for someone who will just be starting.

So father will be most likely giving us some beast soul that we could use in God's Sanctuary since we will be moving back to the dormitory at school since it has already started.

"Okay then," I said to Wang Mengmeng to which she just looked at me like I had said something really strange.

"What?" I asked her.

"You don't really agree so easily to me when I tell you that father wants to meet us. How come you… Are you okay big bro? You're not sick are you?" As she said that, Wang Mengmeng used the back of her right hand and put it on my forehead.

"Strange… your temperature is normal…" She murmured after feeling that my temperature is normal.

My mouth twitched a bit seeing this though. I didn't know what she thinks of me like that. Just what kind of image have I created all these years?
