The Lost Children

The next day we packed up and continued looking for goblins. We went down a path and heard a scream from the next path along. We ran through the forest and got to the next path along where we found what we were looking for, THE GOBLIN GROUP! I took out my sword and cast sword enhancement on it, and took out two of them straight away. There were three more. I practiced the second spell Merlin taught me, speed boost acceleration. Then there was one remaining. He scuttled frantically back into the forest.

"Yama, go and find the rest of his tribe and come back when you find it! Paschar, you help the wounded!" I demanded "and I will help everyone else."

The goblins were attacking a horse and cart inside which was a rich-looking woman who was human.

"I want you to take me to the Castle of Nightwell and I want you to do it now!" she demanded.

I slammed the door in her face and locked the door. She banged on the door and yelled viciously.

Yama had found the goblin village and come back. He took me and Paschar to it, there seemed to be only a few of the goblins left. I took out the sword with the scabbard and tapped it on the floor to find a soft spot and planted the tip into the dirt, grasping the hilt with both hands. This was the first chance to use a black and white magic spell. Greater Lightning Shock. A flash of black and white lightning shot into the earth with so much energy to burnt the goblins to a crisp my face took the shape of a smile and filled me with joy that the spell actually worked.

We went back to the wagon. The rich woman was still screaming and banging on the door, I decided to open the door eventually.

She demanded again to take her to the city.

"What will I get in return for taking you to the City?" I asked her

"4 silver coins and 2 bronze coins," she said gasping from all the screaming.

"Ok, but your horses have gone so how do you expect me to get you back?"

I ended up pushing the wagon. It was rather embarrassing taking it to the stables but I was able to because of the physical enhancement spell. She gave me all the coins and then I went back to the gild to receive my payment I got 5 bronze coins for the job. I went outside and in the middle of the pathway was a ring of people, I decided to ignore them in till I heard a howl. I pushed to the front of the ring there were four people, two children one of them looked age 15 and the other age 11. The one age 11 looked like a chameleon and the other looked a snake. The others were two adult Human men.

They were beating the children.

I got my katakana and pointed it at them.

"STOP!" I demanded. Everyone looked at me with surprised faces. The two men in the middle laughed threateningly.

"And what are you going to do about it," one said.

"There are two ways out of this the easy way and the hard way, ether you hand them over or I force you to give them to me"

"You have to fight for em" they said.

"so you take the easy way"

I had to hold back I did not want to be a murderer.

one dashed at me with a knife. I jumped out the way. I hit him with the hilt of the sword and knocked him out. I walked sinisterly towards the other one, he ran off at great speed, the crowd whispered and walked away in discussed. "are you alright" I asked the children.

They nodded.

"good" I said.

The two children followed me for the rest of the day. I found a roof to sleep on.

The next day I registered the too children at the gilde and took the next job, no one took the job because they said it was too dangerous. The rankings for beasts and jobs were:

and Platinum.

These are form low ranked members. For the higher rank:

S Class,

SS Class,

SSS Class,

X Class,

XX Class,

and XXX Class.

The job was to slaughter a beast It was a gold class.
