2 New World

I awoke in the middle of a forest, with the sound of birds and wild life in the background. I was feeling suspicious about how I got there. Yama and Paschar were standing over me and helped me up, I cleaned all the dirt off my back.

"So what are we going to do now?" I asked them.

"There should be a city near here" suggested Paschar.

"That sounds like a good place to start" I replied.

We started to walk through the forest.

We soon came across trouble. A weak goblin.

"Use Black Lightning disk, it's a spell, just do as you think best to cast the spell" said Yama.

I extended my arm and cast the spell "Black lightning disk!!!" A black disk made from lightning appeared, accelerated towards the goblin.

Paschar used a similar spell which beckoned a white lightning disk which cancelled both of the spells. The goblin chuckled and stabbed my ankle. I rolled around on the floor frantically and in pain. I eventually got up and rugby kicked the goblin in to the distance.

We continued through the forest avoiding monsters. We eventually reached the end of the forest. The castle was visible from there. The castle grounds were vast and long reaching. The main tower was tall and had good structure, But was still a good walking distance away.

A good hour passed before we eventually reached the city entrance. There was a long queue to get in. but there was no security to stop us. The first thing I noticed was the amount of humans around, it infuriated me just to know that they existed in this world. The signs implied that we spoke and spelt the same language, which was good to know.

We went to a carpenter work shop.

"I am new here and am looking to make some money. Would you be willing to have an assistant?" I asked. The carpenter looked to be a dwarf. which was an advantage for he was strong.

"Yes, actually I have been trying to find a good assistant for... well a long time.

Just chop those logs up over there and that should do for today."

There was a stack of logs in a corner and a stand to chop on. A rusty axe was leaning on the wall.

My parents had a cabin in the woods on Earth where they forced me to chop all the wood for the fire, so I had experience.

I walked to the stand, picked up the axe and started to chop.

By the end of the day all the logs were chopped. The dwarf put out his hand with some coins. but I didn't recognise them. There were three silver coins and four bronze coins.

"Do you need help tomorrow as well?" I asked him

"Yes. I was hoping you would ask me that. There is a tree around this area that needs removing. It is a big task so I need help with it."

"Yes I am free all day and have no plans, so I will happily help. but I have no where to get some rest."

"There is an inn not far from here," informed the dwarf. "I go home in that direction so I can show you where it is, if you are willing to wait" he suggested.

"Yes I can wait" I replied with relief.

I was not hungry much because my parents starved me for days on end, hence my stomach had shrunk.

He was ready so we set off. The inn was small and friendly. The staff were all demi humans and kind. It was two silver coins for one night and two bronze coins for an added meal before bed.

I gave them the two silver coins and they showed me to my room, it was smaller than I thought it would be, it had a bed in the corner and a desk next to the door and some drawers for clothes. Yama and Paschar were just following and arguing with each other. I told them to "shut up." And I then went to bed.
