A Maiden's Demise

The leaves rustled as a figure hurried across the trail covered in fallen leaves in what seemed like a frenzy.

Her blue hair stood out like a diamond in the dirt, making her stand out in the dull forest setting.

Elias had just hurried forward, her slumber interrupted by the sounds of fighting. She could smell the smell of charred flesh from a kilometer away.

It took a toll on her body because she was dehydrated and urgently needed water.

However, a few minutes later, she noticed wolves racing towards her in haste, their eyes woeful. She took a defensive stance in response to the attacking monster, however.

"Eh..." she mumbled, perplexed, as a swarm of wolves raced past her without even recognizing or acknowledging her presence.

Elias turned to face the wolves, then turned to face the direction they were advancing from.

Something was coming up.

Despite her state, she ran forward, unafraid, even eager.
