The trial began again and I used the technique to glide backwards. What was useful about it was the fact that it was a movement technique which would help me greatly in this situation. The sword struck the floor where I had stood earlier causing the ground to crack. I pick up a shard that landed next to my feet kept it in my sleeves. I stepped in a pattern creating a illusion of afterimages. This was the second move of the technique. The technique was written in a different language so I don't know what the names are.

I floated around the man as it looked at my after images. 'There!' I found a opening and threw the tile, instilling sword qi in it in the process. Although, I didn't get any cultivation techniques for the way of the sword, I managed to successfully cultivate sword qi. The tile was deflected but not the sword qi, which managed to pierce the man and I finished him off quickly with my sword.

"Brat, I couldn't believe that you actually managed to successfully cultivate sword qi" remarked White "Usually only those in the thirties would be able to cultivate sword qi and only those super geniuses would cultivate it in their twenties. You are younger than both of them"

I only grinned at him "I passed right"

"You did" He replied happily "Originally it was a test meant for people in the Ascension realm"

"But, seeing as you have passed all of my test's, You could become my descendent"

"Wait, all of your test?" I asked him in confusion

"Yes, all of them. The first test is to beat someone a realm higher"

I nodded at that

"Second Test is Virtue, you must not show greed and must have morals."

I thought 'when did I.... oh wait, when I gave him back the manual, got it'

"Third test, Cultivation level, Even if you passed my other tests you need to be at the immortal realm to fully gain access to my legacy"

"So Primal level is up to Primordial Immortal Realm?"

"Yes, I surprised that you know all about the cultivation levels though"

"So what level was the manual?"

"Earth Level"

"Earth level?"

"Yes, Heaven level techniques are uncommon back when I was still alive. Immortal level is extremely rare and there were only a few Primal levels in existence"

I paused thinking about it. 'What level is my Cosmic Energy Assimilation Technique then?'

I walked over and burned some incense before bowing.

"There is a jade slip next to you that has a map of this place, I can guide you for a year before all my powers are used up and this space is destroyed"

"Go child, learn whatever you can and I will try my best to teach you"

"This... Master I don't recognize these words" I told him.

I did as he said and I felt a huge amount of knowledge go inside my mind and I passed out.

For three months I spent my time in the library full of books and manuals looking through everything and practiced whatever I could.

I only learned the All Splitting Sword to the first level in a month before falling unconscious for a week. I completely learned the Fire manipulation Technique in two days and only reached half way for the thousand sword technique in another 2 weeks, generating a hundred swords. I practiced the Unnamed technique for a week before reaching the first level where I could kill just by removing my sword from its sheathe but not completely invisible to the naked eye. I spent the next month reaching the first level of the Universe Traveling Steps and Immortal Sword Body, being able to travel a hundred meters in a second and being invincible to most guns.

Master said we have less than 9 months until I need to leave. The next three months was learning the language of the dragons, I quickly became proficient with it and we moved onto alchemy where he gave me a lot of prescriptions and manuals I could learn when I was alone in the future. He also passed me his own herb garden, although the herbs are insanely old by now and have gained their own spirituality. I spent another three months trying to please them and ask them for medical resources whenever I could to learn medicine.

Master make me spend the last three months learning formations and talismans. I got into them pretty quickly before the inevitable came.

Master came to me and I was sad that this would be the last I would ever see him. He gave me his sword as my last inheritance.

"This sword, I spent the last millennia refining for my successor, I named it Heaven Breaker. It will be your partner from now on. Drop your blood on it quickly" Master seemed to be a bit sad

"Master-" I cried as I dripped my blood on it and it went into my dantian

"Go!" He swung his sleeves and I flew out of the realm.
