19 Back To School and Student Council

I woke up with a sore body the next morning. Yes, the next morning. I looked beside me and saw my beautiful girlfriend using my arm as a pillow. It was pretty chilly for both of us right now. Well, it is around 3 AM and we are both naked. I carefully removed my arm that she's using as a pillow and replaced it with a real pillow. I also put a blanket on her so she won't catch a cold. I then saw a red stain on the bed… I should buy a replacement later.

I took a bath to refresh myself and went to the kitchen to cook some breakfast. That was when I saw Paimon on the table, seemingly drunk. I guess she couldn't take it anymore. I walked to her and gave her a tap.

"You're too cruel. You should have told Paimon you were going to do "that". Paimon could have gone with the others."

"Ehe."

"EHE, TE NANDAYO!"

Oh no, I broke Paimon. I gave her a pat and a smile before continuing on my way to cook food. A couple of minutes later, Mona woke up. She took out a towel and some clothing from the closet. I guess she'll take a bath. Although, she went to the kitchen first and gave me a good morning kiss.

"You really went wild yesterday." she said.

"Yeah, I just couldn't hold back anymore."

"Next time, I should buy more than one box." she said as she turned around and went into the bathroom.

She was talking about protection. We went on until a whole box was emptied. I don't know if I should be proud of that or not. I continued on cooking and after I finished, Mona was done bathing as well.

"We go back to school today?" asked Mona.

"Yep." I said.

After eating breakfast, I wore some casual clothing with a black cloak to top it all off. I still don't have my uniform.

"At this point, I'll just wear a coat instead of a uniform."

"I think that's fine. You look nicer this way." she said as she removed her top and replaced it with a white shirt. She then buttoned her uniform.

"Thank you." I said to Mona with a smile.

Paimon turned invisible again and I warped us to school. We walked our way to our classroom. I could've just warped us here instead, but I kinda want to walk. I warped us to school because the roads are wet, so if a car passes by, it might ruin our clothing.

When we got to the classroom, we were greeted by Amy and the others.

"Good morning." I said with my usual smile. For some reason, it doesn't feel as tiring now.

"Hm? You both seem different today?" said Barbara.

Geez, she's pretty quick. It seems she couldn't quite get it yet though.

"Really?"

"Yeah, I just can't seem to point my finger on it…"

Just then, Amy seemed to smell something and went closer to Mona. I looked at them in confusion until Amy suddenly spoke up.

"You have a hint of Aether's smell on you…"

We both looked at Amy in shock. We then looked at each other with nervous expressions on our face. We agreed last night that we won't tell the girls about this yet, but it seems it's unavoidable now. I sighed and in just a blink of an eye, Barbara was in front of me.

"Aether has Mona's smell as well. When you both slept together, this didn't happen. Did you perhaps?"

We looked at each other before nodding. Barbara's eyes widen and her cheeks reddened. Amy and Noelle looked confused so Barbara dragged them and told them about it. A moment later, they all looked at us with flushed cheeks.

"We need to ask Mona some questions." said Noelle.

They shifted their gaze to Mona and quickly dragged her off to her seat. What the hell is happening? Before I could take another forward however, the three girls looked at me as if telling me to stay away for now. Geez calm down. Thus, I waited near the door for ten minutes.

All six of us were now eating in the canteen since the garden was muddy. I really don't know why, but it feels like a lot of people are staring at my direction right now. I heaved a sigh and continued on eating.

"This food is pretty good." I said.

"Of course it is. It's made by Xiangling who came all the way from Liyue." said Amy.

"From which class?" I asked.

"Class 1-B."

Come to think of it, I haven't gone around that much and haven't even introduced myself to the other students at this school. I should do that sometimes. I might find out more information about Lumine. Wait, come to think of it… I haven't been gathering information at all! However, I don't even know where to start. Ugh, I shouldn't think about this right now.

"Are you okay? You look frustrated over something." said Mona with a worried look on her face.

"I'm okay. Just got a few things in mind."

We continued on eating afterwards. I felt like my frustration was swept away by the food. The food was just so damn good! I stood up, satisfied with the food and left the canteen with the girls. We walked back to the classroom and saw Jean and Lisa on the way. They were with two unfamiliar girls.

"Oh, hey Aether. Just the one we were looking for." said Jean.

"Yo." I said

"Hm? You seem different?" said Lisa. Well crap.

I looked at Barbara and told her to tell it to Lisa and Jean. She nodded and went towards them. After telling it to them in a whisper, they both looked at me in surprise.

"My, I didn't think you'd be that bold." said Lisa as she put her hand over her mouth.

"I didn't expect this." said Jean while folding her arms and closing her eyes.

Wow, did they really think I'm that incompetent?

"Haah… So, why were you looking for me?"

"Oh right. We wanted to introduce you to the Student Council President and Secretary." said Jean as she pointed at the two girls beside her.

One girl had fair skin and light purple hair that was tied into waist-length twin-tails, topped by small odango-style buns that resembled cat ears. Speaking of cats, her eyes were dark amethyst in color and had oval cat-like pupils that had diamond-shaped on the iris. Also, there's a small braid running along her bangs.

The other girl had purple eyes and long blue hair that fades into a darker shade in the end. She seems to have a ponytail, but when she turned around after noticing me staring at her, I saw that it wasn't tied back by anything at all. What's more interesting is the thing on her head. She had dark red horns that bend back along her hair. The horns look similar to that of a goat's horn. The horns were accompanied by small brighter red markings. She even had a bell-like necklace.

The first one to step forward and greet me was the one that looked like a cat.

"Hello there, my name's Keqing. No need to introduce yourself."

The next one was the goat lady.

"Greetings to you, Aether. My name is Ganyu, secretary of the Teyvat High Student Council."

Just by the tone of their voice, I could tell that they take their jobs seriously. I couldn't help but admire them for that. I should really find a way to get information soon.

"We are here to award you for your heroic act of saving Mondstadt from the storm that went on for a few days."

I looked at them in shock at that. Didn't Jean and the others help? I looked at Jean and she said something more unexpected.

"I will also grant you the position of Honorary Knight."

"Eh?!"

I really didn't expect this, but maybe I'll get more information this way. After all, granting a position and awards need a ceremony.
