It all started with a bang. Suddenly half of his house is consumed by void. He had his cat sleeping in his room, while his mother and sister were sleeping in the other half of the house.

At this moment, nothing seemed clear to him. The whole thing is out of his mind as he drifted into shock unable to realize that this phenomenon was caused due to his kindness the previous day. To save a grey little cat, he had to pay the price that is equivalent to the worse thing he can imagine would happen to him. After all, that was the curse placed upon the cat that is the infamous demon witch Delliora. She was once the most skilled mage in the entire kingdom of imperial land. She lived for tens of centuries trying to find a person who is capable of forgiving her existence as she was cursed by God himself. "any human whom she desires to fall in love with, shall experience the highest degree of despair they can think of and know that it was all her doing." was the curse placed upon her by the goddess of love for killing the goddess's only child as he was predicted to be the doom of humanity itself.

she turned herself into a cat as she was fond of them from the day she was born. Doing so, she gained no attention from humans and carried on living for all these centuries until now.

Delliora, deemed as a demon witch by the goddess of love, had lost faith in herself and tried to end her life by purposefully running into a speeding truck. Rushing into the middle of the road, a boy pounced on that cat saving her. she instantly fell in love with the boy like no one, until now, had ever done anything as selfless as that to her. But with that love, came the fear that the curse would destroy this man's career. knowing that, she had to let the boy know about the curse and warn him about how she would only bring him despair and sorrow and asked him to kill her before the curse gets activated. she just turned into an adorable little girl to try to convince him that she was telling the truth. The boy, staring at her with a surprised look said, "I saved your life because I wanted to, now I will raise you until my last breath as your life now belongs to me. I will protect your life with my own as I did just now." These words were soothing to her ears and she fell even more for him for the words he had spoken.

They both went to his house to rest for the night and she had maintained the cat disguise to make sure that his family won't judge him for bringing a woman into his home at night. but little did they know what's going to happen that night.

"There is a way to get everything back to normal", she said with a displeasing face, " to put everything back to how it was, kill me and you will have no memory of me and the void explosion will never have occurred." She was confident about the idea yet her eyes were covered with tears as she spoke to him. Delliora, though being the most skilled mage of the imperial land, was never good at hiding her feelings.

After watching his family vanish into the void in front of him, Eren wanted to do whatever he can to bring them back and after listening to her words, he felt relieved. " If there is a way to bring back my family, I'd do it. but not at the cost of someone else's life, and especially not at the cost if the life that I saved risking my own." he said with an angry tone, " you are a mage right? you should probably know a spell or two for traveling back in time. That would probably fix our problem." he said. " There is one spell that would work under these circumstances but that is out of the question. It requires an immense amount of magic power to work properly, and even after that the chances of getting the right timeline are astronomically low. The most important thing is that the caster cannot travel back in time, so I won't be of any help to you.", she said with a timid voice.

"so there is still a chance. Tell me everything about the casting of this spell," he said with a confident look. " This is a bad idea Eren, I can only use this spell once and that too by draining all the magic that I have. I once performed this magic and it cost me 5 years of my consciousness and 10 more years to recover my magic, and that was the time when I was at my best and now I'm as weak as I can ever be. I will no longer be able to cast any spell if I do this magic and that means, I cannot bring you back to this timeline. This magic can only be done by me and me alone. so there is no way I'll throw away your life like this.", said Delliora.

"Just put some faith in me Delliora, I'll find a way to come back to this timeline one way or the other. just send me into the past so I can save you and my family from the clutches of that curse and I don't see any better way to do so either.", said Eren.

" If that's the case, I shall do everything in my power to help you get this curse off of me and save me once again.", saying that, she cut her cat ear with her dagger and gave it to Eren. " If by any chance you leap into the desired timeline and meet my old self, show her this ear and I'm sure she will help you out. please be safe there, I cannot lose the person that I was in search of for all these centuries." saying that Delliora kissed him while a tear drop's rolling down her cheek.
