7 Delivery part1

It was a cold night, Shin and Eduard went to dark alley.

"Shin, you said that you will stop doing underworld job, why?"

"Because that is the only way to complete my quota as Delivery man."

"I know this is bad, but could you explain what's different between Delivery Man and mercenary and what is it actually?"

"Delivery man is someone who attained S-rank and given for people who gain recognition and trusted. Delivery man is pretty much like trademark to guaranteed client that our work will always finish in good condition."

"So, you're saying you're guys did not fail?"

"We set the mission based on what client want and how difficulty it is. Let say, if you want to kill an owner of some big company, please prepare around million and billion credit."

"Ain't that mean that you can do anything you want?"

"Not at all. All thing we do, need, have, etc will not be provided by DM community."

"So, that's just a license?"

"Yeah, but the test to get the license is impossible."

"What is it?"

"Do something you will never want to do."

"W-what is it!?"

"Cleaning the toilets in this city for a whole year alone."

"WHAT THE HELL!?"

"It was a true mind torture. I cried."

Eduard pat on Shin's shoulder. He nodded in pity while Shin cried in sorrow remember the darkest moment. After a long walk, they arrived at a building. Shin nodded at Eduard, he knocked on the door. There was a sign of adult only. There wasn't a lot of weird sound but Shin and Eduard pay heed, just in case some assassin come visit them.

"Hey, Shin. Wanna come to this place later on?"

"I'm healthy guy. I worried about AIDS or Gonorrhea. So, no thank you."

"But you did that right? With someone?"

"Just one, and she's safe from that kind disease."

They stopped talking after a young man in corporate outfit appeared. He had a sharp aura around him, a standard conglomerate owner. Shin and Eduard didn't show any friendliness at him, despite good vibe smile.

"Nice to meet you, Mr Shin, codename Delivery Man, Joker. It is a pleasure to meet you. I'm Hart"

Shin and Eduard showed a businesslike smile at the young man. The young man gave his hand and Shin shook the young man's hand. He invited both Shin and Eduard inside before close the door.

"So, Mr Shin and Mr Eduard, I presume?"

"Yes, I am."

"Well, follow me."

Shin and Eduard followed Hart to a room. It was being secured with soundproof wall and recording magic detector to avoid the information being record. Shin and Eduard sat on chairs facing Hart. Hart put a small silver tablet. It emitted arousing smell but Shin already covered his mouth with his battle outfit leaving Eduard and Hart.

"I'll be straight. I need you to deliver this to our branch to make sure there will be a way to use this."

"This is a drug, right?"

"Yes, it is. We're doing this to get a recipe of this drug and way to negate the side effect of this drug."

"Wait! Isn't it too much just for this drug!?"

"This is dangerous drug. This thing is made from Otherworld's herbs. It's effect may good for prostitution business but this thing is very addictive."

Shin glanced at Hart. Even though he looked young, he already used to this. Eduard became uneasy, making Hart stare at him in weird. Shin sighed when saw this veteran uneasy. Shin wondered why but didn't persue asking.

"So, you're hoping us to get this thing to your R&D section to make drug that counter this addictive?"

"Indeed."

"Alright then, What about the price? 500K Credit?"

"It does sound too cheap. A million and half, how about it, Mr Shin."

"Sounds like this is not easy. Mind tell me what kind of problem."

Hart seemed troubled when heard it from Shin. He half-lie about the reason. Neither Shin or Eduard know he was lying that time. Shin saw a bit suspicious movement from Hart but didn't bother to pry it.

"Well..."

"So, we need to be careful of other groups?"

"Seems like it."

Shin and Eduard walked in wary of surrounding. Eduard noticed Shin had a holstered gun on his right.

"Shin, why you have guns? Aren't you pretty strong without needing guns?"

"What kind of shit you're saying? Of course I need it. What I should do when 5 people or more point at me with rifles? Or machine guns? Ain't that bad?"

"Yeah, you're right."

After a long walk, they noticed that they being tailed by few people. Eduard and Shin nodded to each other before walked fast and went to alley. The people who followed them entered and met with their demise.

"Fu~,that's one load off my body."

"Shin, we need to hurry."

"Yes, we should."

After a long time moving while changing to many route and fight, they almost arrived but they being stop by a group of mercenary. Shin felt bad premonition, while Eduard unholstered his gun and blade.

"Well, well, look at that. A Delivery Man like me. Nice to meet you, Joker."

"Scorpion. This is gonna be hard, get ready Eduard."

Scorpion moved his hand to front as 14 rank A mercenaries opened fire. Both Eduard and Shin rolled to cover from the bullet. Shin unholstered his gun then pull the trigger aiming Scorpion. Scorpion dodged the bullet perfectly. He then moved to cover from Eduard's bullet.

"Oh, can't have that thing hit me."

*Bang**Bang**Bang**Bang**Bang**Bang*

Eduard and Shin kept reply bullet by bullet to their enemies. After around a few minutes, few of A rank mercenary meeting their maker. Blood flowed to drain around them. Scorpion laughed as he glance at Shin.

"As expected, Mex Industry really know a good Delivery Man. As expected one of the well-known in entertainment industry. This is gonna be hard."

Scorpion pulled a trigger. The bullet grazed Eduard's shoulder. Eduard groaned in pain, while Shin released a few bullet hitting half dozen A rank mercenaries.

"Eduard!"

"I'm Fine! Just hurry up and finish them!"

"We're here not for kill! Let's not waste bullet and retreat!"

Shin toughened his resolve, he stood up and release a dozen of bullets at Scorpion and mercenaries. Eduard rushed to his side.

"We need to go to that place fast. They already know about this"

Shin touch his earpiece.

"This is Shin, Erys. Please set another route that can be used around here."

"Okay, Shin. I already set up route from this area."

Shin nodded when heard Erys replied. He then muttered softly but Scorpion saw Shin muttered something. Scorpion had bad feeling, he ordered his men.

"Move away....!"

A medium sized circle with Shin's trademark appeared. It released a burst of flame for a few seconds. Shin and Eduard moved to the building with route given by Erys. Scorpion became angry as his breath went fast.

"Call for other mercenaries. Tell them, the Delivery Man and Europe man's head is what I want, 1000 Credit each."

The mercenaries heard it went roar in excited.
