Both of them reached home. Ling took Bian to try on her wedding dress. It had arrived while Bian was gone. "You are beautiful," Ling said brightly and happily to see her little sister in a beautiful dress. "Thank you," Bian mouthed not as much excited as her sister was. "If mother sees you right now, she would have cried," Ling said smiling. Bian smiles back, "did mother cried when you were in yours?" asked Bian. Ling chuckled and starts taking of the the wedding dress off Bian to fold it nicely until the wedding. Bian starts taking off the jewelries and waited for Ling's response. "Mom cried like a baby," Ling joked causing Bian to laugh.

Meng De returned to his study room. He felt tired for the first time through the whole week, as if burden was lifted from him. Lady Ding entered his room with tea, "General Meng De, here is tea," she said as she puts the warm tea on his tea table. Meng De sat by the tea table and Lady Ding poured tea for him. He took a sip and smiled at Lady Ding to appreciate her. "Would you like more?" Lady Ding asked. Meng De shook his head then he asked for his daughters, "Where is Lady Guo and Mei?" "They are with the consorts," Lady Ding said. Meng De nodded and sighed. "Is something wrong?" Lady Ding asked her husband. "I am tired," Meng De said and called for Servant Bo to set up the bath for him. "I can do it for you," Lady Ding offered. "No, Servant Bo can do it," Meng De said quite confused why Lady Ding is offering to help him for the first time. "I can," Lady Ding said and waved Servant Bo away as he entered Meng De's manor. Lady Ding went into the bath room to set up the warm bath for Meng De.

Meng De entered the bath room with his robe on. Lady Ding smiled at him, she had set up the bath for the first time and felt proud to do it for her husband. Meng De can smell the sweet pea, it wasn't his favorite scent but he didn't want to complain. Meng De took off his robe exposing himself and entered the warm bath to relax. He sat down, laid his arms on the side of the bath and close his eyes while tilting his head backwards. "Long morning?" Lady Ding tried to bring in a conversation. She slowly reached for his shoulders and massages them. "Mmh," Meng De nodded. "Where did you go?" Lady Ding asked curious of where both Meng De and Bian left so early in the morning too. "Cao Wei," Meng De mumbled. Lady Ding pauses for a minute to wonder if she knew a place called Cao Wei.

"Let's go there with Lady Guo and Lady Mei," Lady Ding faked a smile. Meng De opened his eyes and grabbed Lady Ding's hands to stop massaging him. "What is wrong?" Lady Ding asked wondering why Meng De stopped her, also knowing Meng De's different reaction. "I am tired, leave me alone," Meng De demanded as he went back to relaxing. Lady Ding kissed Meng De on the shoulders to his neck, "would you like to me to join you?" she teased. Meng De shook his head, "leave me alone," he repeated. Lady Ding pouted silently and walked out the bath room.

Lady Ding wondered where the Cao Wei place was at. She wanted to ask Bian but didn't want to come off the jealous type, especially as the main wife. Lady Ding entered her manor to see Ling and Bian talking while playing with the children. As soon as she got to them, both of them got silent and stood up to greet her. Lady Ding sighs, "I am tired, I woke up too early, Consort Bian set my bed," Lady Ding said and called Bian out of habit. "Lady Ding, I can help you," Ling said trying to correct Lady Ding. "Ah," Lady Ding noticed she made the mistake, "yes, Consort Ling." Ling helped Lady Ding to her bed as Bian left the room quietly.

"Did Consort Bian tell you where she went this morning?" Lady Ding tried digging out information out of Ling. Ling shook her head no, "I only help her on her wedding dress," said Ling. Lady Ding sighs, "I worry for her," she faked, "ask her where she left this morning," Lady Ding told Ling. "Yes," Ling smiles, "take your rest and I will care for Lady Guo and Mei," said Ling.

Bian returned to her room. It's been a long morning for her. She refreshen and went to the kitchen to help with cooking. "Consort Bian," a consort called for Bian. "Yes," Bian responded. "Lady Yan is asking for your presence," the consort said. Bian nodded and followed the consort to the living room. "Consort Bian, come here and sit here," Mother Yan said even before Bian was able to make her presence notice. Bian awkwardly sat beside Mother Yan where she instructed. "2 more days then it will be the wedding," Mother Yan said. "Yes," Bian nodded. "There are many things to learn in this household, I know you already know some things through daughter Ding," Mother Yan said. "Yes," Bian nodded. "How was the wedding dress?" Mother Yan asked. "It was good," Bian responded. "That is good to know," Mother Yan said as she was silently excited to help a daughter's wedding, "clean your things and tomorrow the servants will put it in Meng De's room," ordered by Mother Yan, "your assigned consort will arrive tomorrow to help you move and decorate the wedding." "Thank you," Bian said feeling grateful for all Mother Yan had done for her. Mother Yan looked at Bian and nodded in response. Honestly, all Mother Yan wants is the best for her only son.

"What is Meng De doing?" Mother Yan asked Servant Bo as she walked past Meng De's manor seeing the doors closed. "He is taking a rest," Servant Bo answered. Mother Yan nodded in understanding that Meng De could be tired from leaving early in the morning. "When Meng De is awake, make him try on his wedding robe to see if there are any loose ends to fix," Mother Yan ordered Servant Bo. "Yes, Lady Yan," Servant Bo nodded.

Bian is in her consort room folding her outfits and putting her simple things into a small basket. Most clothes were tight on her abdomen so she planned to stretch them by sewing them. Knowing her sewing skills were not so good, she thought it was best to wait after the wedding to ask Lady Ding for help. "Bian?" Ling entered her room. "Yes," Bian smiled seeing her sister. "Let me help you," Ling offered and helped Bian folded her clothes neatly into the basket. "Everything is going by so quick," Ling said. Bian nodded in agreeing. "Where did you go this morning with General Meng De?" Ling carefully asked, not wanting to be a nosy person. Bian cleared her throat, "General Cao Cao took me to a place where only lavenders exist," said Bian. Ling chuckled at the ridiculous response, "there is a place where only lavenders flowers, I have never heard before," Ling said confused, "where is that place?" "Up north," Bian was confused herself, "I did not see the way," Bian said. Ling nodded, "that is fine, I like to know because I get worry," Ling said. "Thank you for worrying," Bian said.

Dinner is ready, Lady Ding didn't join Mother Yan, Meng De, and Bian. Ling delievers her message of not having an appetite. Bian was worried but Mother Yan ordered Ling to make a simple dinner for Lady Ding. "Eat more," Mother Yan told Bian and wanted her to care for herself. "How was your day sleep?" Mother Yan asked Meng De. "It was good, I have not had a good sleep for a long time," Meng De said. "Well you and Consort Bian left early this morning, for what reason?" Mother Yan asked curious. Meng De smiled mischievously, "it is a secret," he said looking at Bian. Bian blushed and looked away. Then Mother Yan asked, "then did you try on your wedding outfit?" Meng De nodded, "yes mother, everything fits except for the shoulders and arms," he said. Mother Yan knew that it would have been tighter around Meng De's shoulders and arms since he had been growing more muscles, "is Servant Bo taking care of the outfit?" she asked. Meng De nodded, "I will try it on again tomorrow," he said. "That is good and Consort Bian's things will join your room tomorrow," Mother Yan informed.
