3 Relief

First aid laid out I looked. There the medication. I began pouring water into his mouth. I watched it drip down the side out his face. He wasn't drinking it.

"What do is do?...."

A flush of blood rushes through my face.

I place the medication in my mouth then water. His head in my lap I bent down. His lips were soft. I lifted his head. My mouth now empty.

I sat against the wall of the shed. The rain coming down even harder. I placed my hand on his face. It was warm.

And suddenly relief filled my chest. I don't know what was going on but relief the best feeling I ever felt. Tears began falling.

"Ha...why am I crying... I don't even know you."

I'm now smiling.

I eventually grew tired. I slept. I slept in peace.
