1 A Visit

My name is Areum. My life was like any other girls life. I went to school,came home, study, and maybe spoiled myself a little bit. My parents own a small pharmacy. Some day I would work there and take over. My life was already set out for me. I was happy.

On the 10th floor of a small apartment complex I waited. I waited for a call. Dad was working overtime tonight. I looked upon the city I grew up in; Busan. In that moment my life changed forever.

A flash of light struck a nearby building. The lights flickered off in a ripple. It's started to rain. It's started to pour. My phone rang. I knew the drill.

"Are you ok? I heard the city blacked out! Fill the bath tub, pots,bowls and pans with water before the water stops. I am aware you know where the flashlights and first aid are. There is much traffic. I will not get home anytime soon. Take care! Love you!"

"Bye"

I did as told and found the flashlights. The rain was pounding. Along with pounding heard. "THUMP" it's came from the roof. They say curiosity killed the cat.

I looked. I slowly made my way threw the small stairway. Rain coat and boots on. Flashlight in hand, I opened the door. Nothing. There was nothing. I searched. I looked. I searched. There I saw a dent in the rose bushes and a rustle. I watched the bushes. A boy.
