1 Retipuj household

At the end of what

Is known as Old and

Beginning of were we

Stand as New, the year

Of holy enthronement.

At the dusk of every year of holy enthronement, the great houses and the grand families, are to send forth their heirs and presents them before the new holy emperor and the Lord of all below the crown, that they may swear their allegiance and once more renew the pledge of sovereignty between the great many and the crown.

accompanied by the Naas-Imda(moon carrier) and aya-ovu(wife of one)of their regions and lands, there are to journeys for weeks on ends.

At this day, lone yet cluster. rain fell continuously, it's gentle melody call for the start of the soil's blessings.

In the house of retipuj... high in the fortress of Gae-el, the master of the household stood at the very drop-down of the highest tower, he's eyes desolated and deep.

He's gaze never leaving the figure of the group that where leaving his Walls.

Turning around and facing towards the door

A gentle, clank' was heard, as a gentle yet strict looking women walked in, her movement filled with nothing but dignity and refinement.

Her hair was of black and her face cover with a piece of large black cloth, preventing and disabling all attempts to access her appearance.

"Lord husband, the maandrianes of the holy temple have left.... And I have come to inform you of the date of the departure... And of the holy baptism...." She spoke after a strange bow.

After she spoke, the room returned to its original quietness as the master of the household had yet to say a word.

Turning slowly and walking calmly till he was standing directly before her.

He raised both he's hands and took off her clothes viel, revealing her face and her brownish black eyes.

Their eyes meet...

Only then did he speak.

"Myasier.... Do we really need to send him? Compere to the others he's only fourteen and lack's the blessing of the old and his physique.... Even adding the fact....that he is of the thinning generation" he said with reluctance.

"It is a requirement for all the heir's to attend. although he is only fourteen as of this year, he is still an heir and he will not remain at this age for he's entire life" she said with conviction

Afterwards she put her hand on he's face, directly his already straying eyes towards her's.

"you trust me, don't you dear.... " She asked gently

And he responded

"with my very core as warranty...."

She smiled

"Then believe me when I say, it's all going to be alright.... "

At the same time in another place in the retipuj dom of authority. A figure drafted in black raincoat and carrying a black rainproof bag over he's shoulders,he was walking on the sub main road of the dom, his destination....the fortress of Gae-el.

The darkness of night was fast approaching, adding to the savagery of the not so active yet not so passive rain... All the stall owners where quickly closing their shops for the day and are running towards their various houses.

Looking left and right the figure couldn't help but sigh in defeat.

"The professor was correct as always... Men have no way to fight against nature nor her natural disaster's... Just a simple rain has cost me to experience defeat",he said with low voice, which sounded muffle as a result of the slowly increasing heaviness of the rain.

"I better take the next carriage I see heading towards... comfort" hr added

Yet no matter how much he walked, all that was before him was lesser and lesser amounts of people.

Till only he was on the road...

The stiffness of the cold was starting to sip it's way towards he's bones and the hallucination caused by the quietness started their assault.

Becoming more vigilant, he quickly increased his pace....

But during his passing, he spotted a woman at a certain corner. Her figure was blurred by the rain, but she was under the cover of the housing behind her.... wearing a simple scarf fur which covered her shoulders and a black gown beneath it, her hands rested on a simple cane and her figure straight as though waiting for someone.

Her appearance was suspicious in such a quiet space. yet in the young and experience fellow's eyes, she was some whom was of no true importance.

As he continued on he's part forward, only to hear a voice breaking through the roars of the rain and reaching his ears.

It whispered sweetly and softly.

"Young sir, would you be so helpful as to help in supporting a old and poor woman such as myself..... And I would provide you shelter from the wickedness of the rain"

The voice sounded like the sweet whisper of a lover and at the same time a hollowing and mourning widows pleas.

Turning towards the source of the voice, only for him to discover it was from the woman he passed just now.

What a beautiful voice this miss has but going astray from my current path means I would require more time to reach home, and for that wasted time mother would be worried? He thought

Yet after some consideration, I DO have the shattering physique and staying in this rain for too long would course a severe health issues for me– he added in his mind.

Smiling sweetly even though he's hooded coat covered a majority of his face, he said

"Thank you miss.... I truly needed a place to rest from the harshness of the weather.."

He walk towards her and when he was close enough, she turned around and started walking towards the entrance of the building behind her, He walked after her while hiding he's cautiousness.

Putting his hand on a short dagger hidden in his clothing, he ask with curiosity evidence in his voice–

"If I may ask...."

"....You may" she permitted as well as cutting him short without turning around.

"Well–thank you, what can I help you with though?for you to be standing in the rain....were you perhaps looking for someone to help you?" He asked

"First of all,dear... That wasn't a single question... But to the second of it, yes something like that..."

"And the first....?" He ask with suspicion slowly growing in his heart once more

"First let me introduce myself...." She turned around, allowing him to finally get a clear view of her vision.

An oval face, long lashes, black eyes and thin lips.

Her eyes are not of dark brown but black, Adding to her dark hair and her white complexion....a Aesianeir – he thought yet he's wasn't surprised as it was natural for other continental's to be present in all where.

"... My name is slaetta yurchi and I am nothing but a simple and humble daviest.... " She performed a simple and humbled bow.

"Daviest? You mean those people whom perform divination and prediction for gamblers and criminals...?" He asked with a expression of exasperation

I'm I being scammed or I'm I getting robbed? The boy thought

"You must have thought 'i'm I being scammed or I'm I getting robbed?'" she said while looking at him with an alluring yet mysterious look.

This however caused the young man to grip he's dagger with more strength while forcing his facial muscles to remain relaxed.

One must know' forceful relaxation is harder than flexing of the muscles.

He asked with an intrigued voice–

"Did you just—"

"No...no I did not read your thought, it is simple a reoccurring event which I have gotten used to" she resumed walking.

And he followed, believing going back would be pointless at this point.

"did you not think, saying those word would have or may have chased away a potential customer?as you know you could have just said something along the lines of –the truth revealed itself to me and I became aware of your hidden thoughts" he said with a little uncertainty about his purpose here.

"I have already tried that..... As for the results? Well that is a topic for another day...." Stopping at a certain door deep inside the building, she knocked three times and opened afterwards without waiting for the person behind to respond to her knock.

She entered the room, which was somewhat dark and unclear.

Walking skillfully through the dark space, she sat on a chair at the very end of the room.

The young man followed behind and entered after a simple scan.

–by the olds and the gods, this place is cramped and shabby, it is filled to the brim with weird objects and assessor's—he though in he's mind, with his hand constantly on the hidden weapon.

Upon entering, the boy discover the being no one in the room. it was just a simple four square room, two wooden chairs and a simple table in-between,a simple white bowl filled with water on the table and different weird accessories and objects every where... His suspension shot through the roof, reaching the very resting place of the Olds.

Noticing the youth before her continuously looking around in suspicious, she smiled seductively and asked sweetly–"may I know what you are looking for so attentively, my dear Mister?"

"I thought you were a Daviest, why ask me that when you should know? "He provoke for probing sake.

"if you are looking for whom I was knocking to... Then you are looking for something that isn't there... Or more specific you can't see" she said with a mysterious tone.

"alright.. enough with the wordless talk ... What can I help you with?" He asked, very seriously without any signs of playing more word games.

"Are you not too smart for your age young man? You should know growing up too fast is not as beautiful as it sounds" she advised.

"if only you knew... So tell me. what is all this for, I appreciate the hospitality but this is not what I expected when you asked for help" he said.

"you see...I don't truly require anything from you, I only wanted you to leave the rain....most children of nowadays fear strangers a little too much" she said with a tire expression yet the darkness cover her expression almost completely.

Help me? Well it is true I would not have came if it was a simple come and hide from the shade...not for any major reason but because of habits that has been forced into me by my mother— he thought.

"Alright then..... I'll just sit and wait till, the rain goes down" he said and sat down.

Looking around one last time to make sure his surrounding was clear, he closed his eyes slightly while looking through his lower lid.

"Would you like some coffee or do you prefer tea?" She asked

"Thank you... But I would like simple rest and going on my way once the rain goes down..." He said.

"Alright.... " She replied with a simple smile.

Five minutes afar, not in it's tens but close to fifteen.

He asked with a whispering voice—

"miss..... Could—could you perform your divination arts on me?"

Raising an eyebrow, she asked—"you must know,it isn't for free?"

"How much would it cost then?"

"Four Cooper notes...."

"alright—here" he said as he quickly handed a single silver note which was folded and glittering in the dimly light room.

"a silver note? Boy it seems you are from a well off family... Well back to business—" she said as she skillfully and quickly tucked away the money in her gown, afterwards she turned around and picked a simple pouch from behind her body.
