1 Birth and Growth

In this world, there are a series of little dungeon's, these small dungeon's with only 5 to 15 floor's are called "Dug's" that large villages and town's center around to get half-decent adventurer's and popularity, as they are an embarrassment to those that go to what is considered an actual dungeon, and then there are the massive ones that are called dungeon's as they have about 100 or more floors, however, there are only 15 of these dungeon's in the world and the monster's in these dungeon's are much harder than the dug's dungeon's, these are typically around 50 kilometers in radius and that's only floor one, the lower you go, the larger it becomes, and as many speculate, the many different races as each of the 15 kingdoms has there capital's right next to these massive dungeon's as each race has one of these dungeons, so each capital is competing to see which one has the greatest adventurer's, but the one in the human kingdom of Babylonia is said to be the most dangerous, but popular dungeon producing the most powerful adventurer's in the world with the decent of the gods and goddesses to the mortal world in order to grant the mortal's the power to fight these monster's, adventurers were granted the power to fight them and win, as the only ones able to fight the monsters in this world, they are the protectors of the 15 races of the 15 kingdoms and are the only ones who can protect the world from utter extinction from the monsters, thus life has been altered to accommodate such a land.

In a forest outside of the kingdom of Babylonia, an infant boy is crying as he was left for dead, all along and helpless with no idea of his spending danger, crying as he was left alone drew the attention of monsters as they approached this helpless infant, though a certain someone heard his cries as well, and just before one of the monsters can kill the infant as he was crying helplessly to his unfortunate fate, arrows are fired and kill the monsters as a Familia, made up of many adventurers and supporters headed by their Goddess, come to rescue this child, their main weapon's were bow's and spear's with some carrying hunting sword's and single hand axes fighting their way through, then as all the monsters are killed and they collect the item's they dropped, the virgin goddess of the moon and the hunt, Artemis, comes to see the child's well being with medicine and food in case the child needs medical attention or food, she picked up the infant as the infant stops crying as she takes the child, the child sees the goddess as he reaches for her and the goddess lets him grab her finger in response, after investigating the child's situation, she discover's something horrible, and due to this, despite being a boy/man, she take's him with her and her familia.

5 years later, the child has grown up amongst Artemis's virgin huntresses or her Familia as they travel around the world, never staying in one place to long, hunting and slaying monsters, saving and protecting villages and towns not able to protect themselves, and even with some mistakes and misfortunes, they continue forward, this boy as well fit's in well, he was a human who had long white hair with sharp crimson eye's, and was wearing a skirt with a dress shirt, due to the fact Artemis doesn't let men in her Familia, despite having other children familia member's about his age and even younger in her Familia, she only had woman's clothes to give to him, sure enough though, without men to grow up around, he was comfortable I these kind's of clothes, even looking like a girl himself, making Artemis and the Familia captain Britomartis.

Artemis:" he really is a good kid"

Britomartis:" he is- wait he"

Artemis:" what do you mean, did you really forget he was the male child who was left in the forest by a rigged trial for his death to seem like it was legal"

Britomartis:" oh, right... that slip's my mind at times... but can you blame me"

Artemis:" what do you mean"

Britomartis point's to Atalan as he was seen brushing and braiding the hair of or of the other children as an older one brushes and braids his hair, the embodiment of a female, not helping with the fact he was wearing a dress shirt and skirt then Artemis understood, Atalan never been with men before, so of course, he has no male tropes whatsoever, and worst off, he was much more of a girl than a boy, making the goddess understand what need's to be done.

Artemis:" Atalan, please come over here a moment"

Atalan popped his head up and then saw as Artemis was calling him, getting his hair done a second later as he thanks his senior member and runs to Artemis happy to see her like a puppy.

Atalan:" yes goddess"

Artemis:" it's about time you go to town with the rest of us"

Atalan was confused as usually the younger members have to wait until they're at least 10 to do so, but he may have been an exception as since not only is he a male who didn't join the Familia but was in their group, but also was a prodigy as he was a very fast learner, as he was personally taught by Artemis herself, so with this, he's a lot smarter than he would seem.

in town, Artemis was discussing their familia's reward's for their slaying of the Minotaur in the area and Atalan was to explore the town, there, he meets some men as they gave him candy, meeting with Artemis after, telling of what happened, making Artemis worry as he was still wearing girl clothes and threw away the candy and held his hand as they left that area, telling Atalan to be careful of who he is friend's with, then as he was in town, a man has fallen down and even though he was 5, Atalan was skilled in medicine thank's to Artemis's teachings, and used a Rune healing spell as well as some first aid to help the man, many were impressed with this child's medical abilities as a elven doctor visiting took note of his skill and knowledge in medical and asked if he would like to learn more, while hesitant, Artemis took this opportunity and said he'd love to, needing to travel to the elven kingdom, Artemis told him to make sure to learn as much as he could, while Artemis was skilled in medican like her brother, she herself couldn't do much, so a licenced doctor would be more useful for him to learn from.

Atalan:" goddess... why did you agree to that"

Artemis:" because you can gain a lot from this, no worries, if it's you, I'm sure you'll learn everything you need within a year, so we'll come to get you by then, try not to cause trouble, and if you need anything, use the arrow stone"

the arrow stone is actually a special gem that is used for long-ranged communication, however, it's only able to be used with 2 stones, so each member carries 2 with them and hands one to their goddess once they go somewhere far since they don't stay in one place to long and they could easily be lost for year's if not careful.

Atalan:" alright goddess, I'll do my best"

arriving at the Elven kingdom of Lothlódolin, Atalan arrives to find himself in the elven kingdom, a beautiful kingdom with the fairies of the forest, the elves, he was lead to a hospital where this elf doctor was going to teach him, as well as some other's who were their, some were slightly older children and some were teen's, namely for the same teaching's, though, as Atalan was the youngest, he was immediately outcasted by the other's their.

a month has passed and he has more than surpassed even his teacher, with a combination of studying till he passes out at midnight, paying close attention to detail, and reading books whenever he can as well as his photographic memory helping him, he learned everything he could within a month, making the doctor who brung him in realize just how much potential this kid has in medicine, and with that, the rest of his time would be spent doing whatever he pleased, while he was in this kingdom, he explored, and on his first day, he found a friend, an elf girl with Jade hair and purple eyes, she was sneaking around with a cloak on as Atalan thought she would be lonely, so he asked her if she wanted to play with him, and this girl agreed, with his bow, he traveled with her as he was much to fast for her, he was always fast, so fast in fact, that Artemis's dear, the Kerynitian (or Cerynitian) Hind played a game similar to Hercules's third labor, only, he was the one chassed by the dear as he was faster than it, so he let her ride on his back, he wasn't only fast, he was strong, as strong as a healthy full grown man as well, thank's namely to his training with Artemis, carrying Boar's and Bull's on his back through the tree's to eat and taught how to hunt in about any environment, despite his age, he's far better than any average hunter able to hunt big game easily.

Atalan:" these woods have some monster's in them (sniff sniff) Minotaur, Orc's, and some Goblin's, a monster party, by the track's, their's 2 Minotaur, 8 Orc's, and 12 Goblin's, standard monster party size, near a monster army, heading east-west and then eastward towards the riverbank, likely going back through this trail to get food, what about you Astrid"

Astrid:" how can you tell all of that, all I see are partial footprints in the dirt, and I only smell (sniff) BLEGH, monster feet, and dirt"

Atalan:" awe, it's that which separates average hunter's to great hunter's, these track's and smell tell me everything I need to know already, and this smell is fresh, so they were here recently, meaning they're close by"

Astrid:"... if you say so, so we go north to avoid them"

Atalan:" no, we're going hunting"

Astrid was concerned as they went to fight this party of monsters, as Atalan drew his bow, he fired 5 arrow's and each arrow instantly killed the goblin's, as they turned to dust and dropped their magic crystal's, Astrid was casting a spell, as 2 of the orc's noticed them, they got arrow's in their eye's and died instantly, as Astrid was done and casted her spell, the only monsters left the 2 Minotaur, Astrid was scared, but then Atalan rushed them as he was able to kill one after running and then sliding between his leg's to fire an arrow to the back of his head where his spine connected to his head and it killed the monster instantly, though the second one was a bit trickier as it almost got a hit in, though, Atalan just used his bow to slide it's punch across his bow as he got a shot through its mouth, killing it instantly, as Astrid came to see if he was alright, she saw as both his arm's were fractured, but he only drew a rune on the ground and used a healing spell to heal his arm's, good as new.

Atalan:" see, good as new, no need to worry"

Astrid:" I WAS A WORRIED, what if you made a mistake, or, or, or, missed a shot, or-"

Atalan:" no need to worry, I was taught by the best archer in the world, I won't miss my target that easily, in her honor and name, I will make sure my arrow's kill their target as quickly and effectively as possible"

Astrid:" please take it from my perspective, even as a level 1, we're no match for minotaur"

Atalan:" oh no, I don't have a Dunamis"

both kids were silent as this made both quiet, one surprised and one just waiting, then, Astrid Blew up.
