15 Happiness

Prayas came back to see the sleeping sati and found her in a sound sleep. Finally, this was the day where he didn't hear her ask him why he killed Adhir and tear welled up in his eyes. He laid beside her pulling her into a hug. Somewhere he knew he was doing wrong by hugging her but he needed it. He told her how happy he was now that he will get to talk with her every day.

He left after some time so when the day begins he can meet her and talk with her. He was nervous and excited at the same time.

Today he tried to dress up well. It was not a date but he was meeting her again. With a smile on his face, he went to her bakery. She was already there and welcomed him with a big smile. They stood there looking at each other.

"Hey," he said and she just stared at him with her heart thundering on her chest. He looked more handsome than before. She loved everything about him. His tattoos, dread..... everything.
