1 Deception: Silent Disguise

The story starts with a boy who wakes up in a hospital not remembering anything.....

(Faint beeps from the electronic bed he laid in), "Urghh....my head hurts" he said as he slowly opened his eyes and touched his head. He slowly sat up on the bed and had a look in the room, he saw an old tv with a V shaped antenna on it and some weak old chairs at his left. He looked at his side and saw a hooter monitor which displayed his heartbeat rate and blood pressure. Then he slowly turned to look at his hand and saw that he was on a drip. "I'm in a hospital?" he asked himself. "Urghh...what happened....mom...I need to find her" he said as a doctor and a nurse came in. The doctor was wearing a usual white dress with a touchpad and the nurse held nothing as they approached him. "He seems better now" the doctor said to the nurse. The doctor stood at his left and looked into his face and smiled. "Do you remember anything??" he asked, "I...I don't...,what happened...please" he asked,as he looked into the doctors eyed with a sad face. "You were involved in an accidental explosion yesterday, but the police is looking more into what really happened, everything will be alright", "An explosion??" he asked as he turned to look into the nurse's face, the nurse then touched his shoulder and said to him "Just rest son", "But...but where are my parents, which room are they in?, I need to speak with them" he said back, "the police is still searching for the body of your parents.." the doctor said as he sighed. "You...you mean...they..they ared dead??" he said in a soft voice almost about to cry as he laid back on the bed, "The police just found blood trails on the floor and you lying down unconscious", "no...no..mom!!!" he shouted as he burst into tears. "Bring the sedative, we need to put him to sleep now, they will be coming soon" the doctor said, "who will be coming for me" he said as he tried to raise his head and the nurse held his head back down and gave a wicked smile, the doctor brought out a syringe filled with a transparent liquid as the nurse held the boy down and the doctor injected the liquid into his right arm as he started feeling sleepy. "That will do, it's enough to keep him asleep until they come", "until...w..who..comes..." he said as his eyes started closing slowly, "the murderers, they are coming to finish you off, we just need our money not you kid.." the doctor said as the nurse burst into laughter and went to the doctor, "honey.. I can't wait till we get rich" she said looking into his eyes as he turned to look at the boy, "sound sleep son.." the nurse said as his eyes finally shut. They left the room and after some minutes the boy woke up. "Urghh...that hurts" as he raised his head to look at his arm, "the sedative...it didn't work.." he said as he slowly got out of the bed and held his stomach feeling weak, "I need to leave this place before they come.." he said as he walked to one of the chairs which contained his backpack with his clothes and immediately changed into a casual wear. He placed foams which were in the chair into the hospital's patient dress and placed it on the bed to give an impression of someone sleeping on the bed and covered it with the beddings. He wore his back pack and slowly opened the door and went out, he blocked the light rays with his hands because it was brighter than that in the room, he looked around him to see if he could find any clues on how to get out of there and walked straight to a woman sitting on a bench, "ma'am" he said as he also sat down beside her, "I would like to know where the exit is" he said as she turned to look at him and pointed downstairs, "thank you... ma'am" he said as he stood up and started walking to the stairs which led to the ground floor, "be careful, you'll need help down there" she said in a deep voice as she stood up and walked away, "that's weird...well I need to leave" as he headed down. He saw many TVs as the ground floor which displayed many news of ongoing accidents in the country which one was about a burnt house in Bertha, his home. He walked slowly to the tv as he eyes was filled with tears, "mom...." he said in a weak voice as a woman came to stand by him, "such a pity" as she sighed, he cleared his eyes and raised his head to look at the woman "w..what happened..." she asked, "the news we've all heard states that. there was an explosion which led to the death of the family, but they only found one body and blood trails all around the room, I feel so sorry for the kid" she explained, (mom....) he said to himself, "what's your name and why are you here" the woman asked, he knew that if he replied with his name he would be caught and sent back so he decided to change his name, "I...I'm Chris...", he said, "Chris?, what are you doing here" she asked, he didn't really know what to say so he had to make something up in order to cover it up, "I...., I came to check up on something..."he said, "But where are your parents, it's getting to noon, the hospital will soon close", "oh..they..they died two years ago" he said as he slowly raised his head to watch the tv and lowered his head in sadness, "Would you like to stay with me?" she asked as he slowly raised up his head to look at her face, "b..but ma'am, you don't..know me" he said as he lowered his head, "Come child, let's go home, I'll take care of you for the moment as I search for an apartment for you" she said, he was confused at the moment but knew that this was his only chance to get out of there because it was getting to noon and they would come for him if he delayed, "okay... ma'am" he said as he turned to look back, he saw the nurse and the doctor a little far from them as he quickly turned and followed the woman, "can I help you with the bag?" he asked, "Oh no, my guards will do it" as one appeared and held the bag, they reached the gate and the guards quickly opened the gate for her, "good day ma'am" one guard said as he turned to look at Chris, "Good day boy" he said as he quickly looked away and run out. He sighed when he got out of the hospital and turned to look at the building as it was written in french, (Hôpital Projet Espoir) "Hope Project Hospital?" as he translated, "Bringing hope to all those who needs it, lucky you found me, you now have a home" she said as Chris turned to look at her as the guard opened the door, "Go in Chris" as Chris entered. "Ma'am, where should I take him" the driver asked, "Take him home, I'll be back after I'm done with my appointment" she replied, "Chris, I'll see you later at home" she said to him, "thanks very much ma'am" he replied, "oh, call me Miss Lynn", she said, "okay ma'am" as Miss Lynn raised her eyebrow, "sorry..Miss Lynn" he said as the driver started the engine and the drive off. He sat near the window and looked through the window, "where are we?" he asked, "we're in middletown, Miss Lynn stays in Maxburgh, she is one of the richest people there, so you better not disappoint her, or else you'll have fire on your ass kid" the driver replied, "I won't disappoint her..." he said as he continued looking through the window, "Are you hungry kid?" the driver asked as he touched his stomach, he knew he had been in that hospital for a day and needed something better to eat, "Yeah...." he replied, "okay, let's get something" the driver said as they drove to a restaurant and got him hotdogs and milkshake, "I hope you like it" he said to him as he turned on some music and started the car, Chris laid the package beside him and looked into the window, "mom...dad...I will find your bodies, and I will find those murderers and make sure they pay for what they've done, then I'll have my revenge on the doctor" he said to himself and the driver drobe off to Miss Lynn's home...
