Chapter 22 - Good Timing.

After getting off the phone with Daisy I forced myself to calm down, I go over everything she told be about these talismans that Ace could be using to hide his location, it makes sense, and the fact that I now have the means to slip past his defences helps me to calm down, working myself into a panic would not help anyone, especially if they did actually need me. I managed to hold myself together for another hour after speaking to my twin, but there was still no word from my guys, I couldn't take it anymore so I called Jack, I needed to know if he had had any news, sitting at my desk I pushed the papers to one side and grabbed the phone, I listen to it ring for what feels like an eternity with no answer from Jack before I decide to try Jason.

Jason answered before the first ring even completed, as though he were sitting watching the phone, willing it to ring.

"Jase, where's Jack?"
