1 The Burning Destroyer Valentine

"All hands on decks!! You, contract Deathwatch for reinforcement now!!

Admiral Locke shouts as he slams his fist on the war table.

Surrounded, Locke has no choice but to call for reinforcement.

'All escort vessel were destroyed within minutes after the battle started.

Godamn Xenos.'

*BOOM*

Locke thought to himself as another explosion hit the port side of Valentine

"Multiple breached detected on the starboard side. Estimated crew loss 3,000."

Valentine stated.

"Ms Valentine, deploy repair drones."

"All ready on it, sir."

The radio operator quickly got on the comms with Deathwatch Vanguard Company HQ.

"This is Alpha 2-9-9-0 'Valentine' to Deathwatch High command.

We are under heavy arcane bombardment from the enemy warships.

We require immediate CAS. I repeat this is Alpha 2-9-9-0 'Valentine'. We are --"

"Sir!! radar scans detected multiple class 6 Levithan approaching us from starboard side!!"

The radar specialist quickly reports his finding to the Fleet Admiral.

"Divert all main battery to the starboard side, focus fire on the closest one and don't stop until those filthy Xenos were blown to smithreens."

The Admiral paused before continuing.

"And prepare to activate emergency burn. "

Suddenly all of the primary batteries opened fire at the same time. The thundering sounds of explosion fill the sky as type 91 shells hit the freshly emerge Leviathans.

Foul black Xenos blood filled the blue ocean as wave after wave of HE shells hit and explode upon impact.

Rounds after rounds, shells after shells. But the Leviathans doesn't seem to back down. In contrary, the Leviathans begin to push closer and closer to Valentine.

At the same time in the engine compartment, the core engines burn faster and faster as each passing second.

Sounds of steel creak and groans as the steam push valve open and close at an incredible speed.

"She's hot and steamy Admiral!"

Yell one of the engineers through radio.

"Hit it, Ms Valentine!!"

"With pleasure, Admiral."

The moment emergency burns were activated, the core engines suddenly spit out burning plasma, pushing Valentine faster and faster.

The excess burning plasma passes through countless pipes and valve.

Its destination is loading bay, where the plasma will be used as HE ammunition.

When suddenly a voice emerge from Valentine radio comms.

"This is Deathwatch High Command.15th Deathwatch Vanguard Company is now arriving your location via Striker class ariel combat mech."

"You head him, set course for -3, 0. And Valentine directs all functioning main battery to port side, we are not going down without a fight."

The thrill fills the Admiral as he learns of the Deathwatch reinforcement.
