Fighting the Tiger and Leopard Cavalry

Yun rode out with the three brothers toward the west to make some distance between them and the army to not raise suspicion as they then rode south to intercept Cao Chun and his cavalry.

Yun could feel that the three brothers didn't feel fear nor hesitation as they followed him to their possible death when he hears, "Are we allowed to kill our enemy?"

Yun turned his head to Wen Xu who was carrying two swords on his back when he says, "Yes, I won't let you fight them with more of a handicap since they already have the advantage in number against us."

"So we are riding to our possible end. I thought it would feel more glorious," says Wen Yu relaxed not talking about the enemy's superiority in number which surprised Yun a bit.

"I won't lie. We will most likely fall or at least get back as cripples if we survive this. But why aren't you three disturbed one bit with dying?" asks Yun curiously as they continue riding to their destination.

"It was you that made us who we are right now. If we hadn't joined you back then we wouldn't have lived our lives to the fullest. We owe you a great debt for taking us into your army since it changed our lives completely," says Wen Xi gratefully as they rode now faster.

"You made out of us real men and soldiers over the years. If Death wants to claim our souls in the next battle I will give it freely because I know that my family will be taken care of by my Lord or his family," says Wen Xu proudly of being Yun's soldier.

"We will at least take some men with us to the Gates of Hell to meet King Yama. And if he asks how we died I will answer him that it was to honor my Lord for giving me the chance to prove to him that I am worthy of being his soldier," says Wen Yu seriously while having a smirk on his face while holding his halbert firmly.

"I really hope there is an Afterlife so we can reunited with our fallen brothers and sisters to tell them this story while awaiting a new one when the next brother or sister joins us," says Wen Xi while holding back his laugh while grasping his spear firmly.

"I hope to meet you all when the time comes for me to join you all," says Yun with a smirk feeling warm from hearing the three brothers' words as they continued marching.

It took them a day to overtake the Cao Chun's cavalry before placing themselves between them and the civilians. Yun looked at the three brothers who were determined to kill and die today.

They were holding their weapons firmly not using too much force but also not lightly enough for the weapon to fall off their hands as they saw the cavalry approaching them.

Yun had his new weapon resting on his shoulder while riding at the cavalry beside the three brothers as Yun just charged into the enemy as he was used to only to find out that his horse wasn't as competent as his own.

He seemed to have forgotten that a normal horse doesn't have an impenetrable hide as four spears entered the horse he was riding on bringing it to fall but Yun used that momentum to claim his first victim by swinging his ax horizontally separating one head from its body while falling from the horse.

Once on the ground, Yun rolled out of the way of the incoming horses before getting on his feet and swinging his ax again crippling three horses when the shaft broke making the ax head get stuck in the fourth horse.

Yun gave the shaft a quick glance before he heard, 'It isn't one of your regular weapons. It is no wonder that it would break if you use too much Qi in your attack.'

'Well it can't be helped it seems,' says Yun back to Ysmrgra as he takes a firm grip of the broken shift and rammed it into one of the fallen riders killing him before grabbing the sword of the rider to continue fighting against the riders.

He spared a little glance at the three brothers who weren't stupid enough to follow him into the encirclement and stayed together to fight against the enemy riders.

Yun then returned his attention to his current enemies which surrounded him when a familiar face appeared before him.

"You are quite a beast, General Zhao," says the man as Yun looked at him confused when the man smirked at him before saying, "We have met before if you don't remember. It was when I was with Cao Ren in Xiaopei."

"I don't know why you are comparing me with the God of War, but I am Zhurong, the God of Fire. And I won't tolerate you killing my people," says Yun making his voice sound gender neutral while letting it reverb.

He circulates his Qi creating flames around him that don't harm him nor his belongings which keep his identity still covered since they can't confirm it until they remove the fabric that was covering his face.

"You think you can fool me just because you changed your armor and covered your face," says Cao Chun angrily before unsettling his sword while saying, "Then let me remove that fabric from your head and prove myself right."

Cao Chun rode at Yun with his men following him while Yun spread his Qi drenching the battlefield around him in flames as the cavalry rushed now even faster toward him.

Yun raises the sword in his hand and points it at the incoming cavalry knowing that he only needed to stall them for at least a day which would allow Liu Bei to escape toward Changban.

Yun covered the sword in Fire Qi before raising it, making the sword grow bigger before swinging it horizontally only to find the sword broke in mid-swing because of the pressure placed on it.

'Fuck!' thinks Yun because his attack only hitting ten riders and their horses instead of the whole group.

Cao Chun was relieved to see that his enemy's attack wasn't effective because it seemed to have been catastrophic if it went through and killed more than just ten of his men and their horses but he knew that Cao Cao wouldn't be happy to hear that he lost horses and trained cavalrymen to four people.

He plunged his sword toward Yun who saw the sword coming. Yun took the only possibility he had which was to take the hit while plunging the broken sword into Cao Chun hoping to kill him with it.

Cao Chun connected with Yun who stood firmly as Cao Chun's sword went through his armor feeling the tip of the sword against his chest as it was right between his left third and fourth rib.

Yun took that moment to grab onto Cao Chun while looking for an opening as he saw one at the left side of Cao Chun's torso. He pulled Cao Chun closer toward him as he rammed the broken sword at Cao Chun penetrating his armor but the broken sword only created a small wound.

Yun was surrounded and spears as well as swords went for his head trying to kill him while some blood of Cao Chun dripped on his right hand.

Cao Chun took this opportunity and grabbed the fabric covering Yun's face pulling it off and finding not Yun's face behind the fabric but blood red eyes which resembled that of a lizard.

The face he saw was that of a beautiful woman with long black hair when he suddenly noticed scales underneath the eyes of the woman.

"As I said before, you are facing the God of Fire, Zhurong!" shouts the woman as the spears and swords only touch her skin not penetrating it.

The shout instilled fear in every man who saw her unfazed by the spear tips and the swords at her skin before they heard Cao Chun scream in pain as she was pushing the broken sword deeper into the wound.

"Yes, scream for me," says the woman with a smile on her face before she radiates Fire Qi from herself engulfing herself in it as well as Cao Chun before making it explode in every direction killing the riders that tried to kill her.

This created quite the chaos on the battlefield in which the three brothers were fighting bravely with now only the youngest of them still standing having only one arm remaining as the enemy took his other.

Wen Xi was bleeding out when he saw in the distance not his Lord but a woman in his place. He didn't know what was going on when suddenly he only saw a wave of fire killing everyone ten meters from the woman.

Everyone in the radius turned to ashes while the landscape was burning except for Cao Chun and the woman who were still alive as she was bleeding him out.

"I-it se-ems I was wro-ong," says Cao Chun as he saw his most trusted men turn to ashes before his eyes.

At the same time, Yun was back in his mindscape seeing the sealed Black Dragons with Ysmrgra looking at him when he asks, "Why am I here?"

"Because you shed enough blood to release another Dragon," says Ysmrgra in a warning tone as Yun looked at him confused.

"HOW!? I didn't use one of my weapons nor was I wearing my armor. So tell me, HOW!?" shouts Yun asking Ysmrgra how it was possible to unsealed a Dragon without his weapons or armor drinking blood.

"Your ring," says Ysmrgra pointing at Yun's right hand as he continues with, "The ring was soaked in Cao Chun's blood which released the next Dragon."

"And where is said Dragon?" asks Yun wanting to get this over him.

"She is a cunning one. I can't tell you more," says Ysmrgra as he fades leaving Yun behind who looks around when he suddenly hears a whisper entering his ears.

"Yun?" asks a familiar voice which makes Yun turn around finding a familiar face across from him.

"Diao Chan?" asks Yun not believing what he was seeing as he stood frozen in place.

Hope you like it.
