24 Armor and Guild

Slate POV

Amulet brought all of us into her shop. She had 5 Manikins on display, one of each of us. She had new armor on each of them. Mine had light armor except for on the left arm that had a Heavy Scale Armor on it. The right arm was lightly covered.

Ink's outfit was a Hooded Top without a back. Her pants were yoga shorts with 2 knife holster on the small of her back. She had a Tiara made that helps with physical defense by casting both Protect and Shell when she feeds it mana. She has no shoes though. Ever since she learned she could fly... she hates to walk but Amulet made her a pair of flip flops for when we go to town. She liked them but still goes barefoot when she can.

Kareena's outfit is regular clothes with a light armor chest piece over it. She had a baret made where Dust likes to sit. Her pants have pouches hanging on her legs that have animal foods. Her top pockets always have her special blend of Gysahl Greens.

Marina's outfit is a tank top as a shirt and heavy armor as pants. She has a pouch on her hip that she put her potions her arms are open for her gauntlets. They havent been finished being tuned by Amulet. She actually has all of our special weapons. All 4 of my Dark King Arms, Ink's Orb, and Marina's Gauntlets. Im not sure how she took them from me but she pulled them out of thin air from around me. She said it was a skill from her crafter job.

Ruins outfit... Lets just say Amulet outdid herself. Ruin has a Dark Mithril Thread full body suit tights. It has a spot for Pluto on its back. She has an optional cloak too. Her suit has room for 20 throwing knifes and a quiver. I think Amulet used more time and pricy mats... Shes playing favorites I think...

Amulet: Try them on. Im still working on your weapons. It will take a few days to finish them. I will work on them when we land on the floating city Bhunivelze. While there, you 5 can register as a party and to take on missions from the Nora Guild. Registration of the Typhoon will be finished soon with the authorities when we land. Go in your plain clothes. You're not allowed to be in armor or bring weapons other then a knife. It took longer then expected... but I finished the 4 knifes you asked for kiddo.

Ink: I understand Ruin and I having knifes... but why everyone?

Slate: Rule #9: Never go anywhere without a knife.

Amulet: Huh? Who's rule is that?

Slate: A wise man named Gibbs. Dont ask.

Amulet: ... Well then. Here they are. 4 blades Custom made for the girls. I named them The 4 Crystals. They are black with edges in their chosen colors. They are my best masterpieces only under Pluto.

.

The girls grab their blades and put them away. We then return the new armor and got dressed to go to the guild.

.

The 5 of us walk throughout the city. We were being stared at... guess they have never seen Beast-kin kids walking around without parents. After roaming around and taking in the sights, we find the location of guild easly enough. We start to head towards it.

Slate: I hope we dont run into any cliches like Adventures who go looking for trouble or a receptionist "Lady" with a more muscular body then any man we have ever seen.

Ruin: I am excited to meet new people. I would like to teach then the Glory of Chaos and of his Chosen. I must also find the Impostor so we can end him. ALL MY ENEMIES WILL DIE!!!

Ink: Sigh, there she goes again. Amulet has been working hard to get her to stop saying that but her only achievement is that "in agony" was dropped.

Kareena: Well I think its funny. She even mumbles it in her sleep.

Marina: She was yelling it over and over from the bathroom when she ate the extra spicy tacos too. Saying that whoever "Poisoned" her food will feel the burns she did but 200 times it. Best. Prank. Ever.

Ruin: IT WAS YOU!!

After some horsing around and Ruin vowing to use Firaza peppers to get revenge, we reach the Guild. The front of the Guild has swinging doors and it sounds loud inside. As we walk up to the doors we hear A loud and beautiful voice echo from within.

???: Enough everyone. They have arrived. Make a path.

We walk in and see a room full of super models enjoying a drink and looking at the 5 of us. We walk up to the reception desk and on it was a bell.

I ding the bell. The girls then ring it themselves with huge grins on their faces. I look around the Guild room and notice everyone is still watching us. They look Semi-Scared actually...

???: Welcome Chosen Children of Chaos. I have been expecting you.

A lady whom I have never seen comes from behind the counter. She has a strawberry blond braided ponytail and red eyes. She has a tight V neck shirt on and sweat pants on too. Her most eye catching trait is NOT her "I"normous assets... its her eyes.

Slate: The Eyes of Etro. You are a seeress.

???: Very good Chosen Champion of Chaos. My name is Eris Villiers. Granddaughter to 4 of the Hero's of Cocoon. Snow and Serah's son is my dad. My mothers parents are Hope and Vanille. I have my Grandma's eyes and my great grandma's bust on my mothers side so I understand why you are having a hard time looking me in the eyes.

I blush a little. I feel 4 glaring girls looking at me. Dust jumps off of Kareena's hat and floats for a second before he nose dives into heaven. A.K.A. Eris's Vneck shirt. That lucky sonofabitch actually vanished from sight for a few seconds before his head pops out from the valley of dreams with a happy chirping.

Kareena: He says its nice in there Slate. He asked me to let you know.

... Ima kill a Chocobo. That little crap is actually is trying to rub it in my face.

Eris: Well little Dust. Im sure Chocolina will love this story later on.

That little shit flew out of the valley of dreams like its ass was on fire.

Eris: Now then Children... Ready to register your group?

Slate: I guess? Maybe? What do we have to do?

Eris: Sign some papers and touch the Guild Materium. Once it checks your age, your welcomed into the Guild.

Slate: Age?

.

Eris: Yes. You must be old enough to use weapons and hunt. The Guild Materium will check if you are still under the child protection blessing. If you are, you will only be given harvesting quest.

I walk up to the Giant Sphere and touch it. It glowed gold before it dimmed. The girls got the same reaction.

Eris: Well... thats different. The 5 of you are 11 years old but you can use weapons and fight monsters almost as if your no longer under the blessing.

.

Ink: WE MISSED MY BIRTHDAY!! OH MANNNN My parents are going to KILL you tail boy. Lets go home after we are done here. I bet my presents are at home waiting for me.

Slate: Ink, Each one of us is now 11. We missed everyones birthday. Noctis also hasnt met Ruin yet. I cant wait.

Eris: Well... You 5 can hunt but be careful.

.

???: These little kids are going to be hunters? Thats a poor joke Guild Leader. 5 little girls of their age cant even use weapons. They might be great bar maids in 10 years though.

A dumbass uncle goes and becomes the greatest cliche in writing history. His eyes are looking us up like we are pieces of meat. ... Ima kill him later.

Eris: Hey Ben. You need to stop. These 5 are not to be messed with... You will be sorry.

Future dead uncle Ben acts like he didnt hear Eris. He looks up and down the 5 of us with a nasty look in his eyes. Yeah... Ill kill him later.

Ben: Hey you with the bunny ears... When you get older, ill be more then happy to help you with your species "Itch".

Slate: ... Oi

Ben: And you with the fiery look in her eyes and the wolf ears... Ill happly tame you later...

Slate: Hey, old man.

Ben: You with the horns and glasses, Id like to show you my "Horn" in a few years. You with the black hair and no back in your shirt trying to look sexy... When you can fill out that outfit... Ill fill you up real good.

All I see now is red. The girls have grabbed the handles of their new knifes... Too bad he is mine. Ink makes hers float above her hand and she somehow took Pluto from me and handed it to Ruin. She is twirling both knifes in her hands... Guess ill go barehanded.

Eris: Ben... Choose your next words incredibly carefully.

I walk up to the soon to be dead slab of meat. No one gets to say these things to my girls. He looks at me walking up to him and opens his mouth.

Ben: Last but not least... You with the fox ears... Get your mother down here. If you inherited her looks... Id love to hear her scream my name.

I stop dead in my tracks. What did he just say?

Oh crap. Ill take Pluto from Tail Boy so he doesnt kill him right away. Ill let him kill him slowly.

I give Ruin Pluto to hold on to because she is the one who can fight with a knife best.
