41 8 Years of Hell... Well Purgatory (P1)
We were lucky when we first got here. After ending that dragon, the 4 of us spent over 3 weeks searching for a new place to call home. Iris slept the entire time. We have 5 requirements for our new home.

1) Near by water source
2) Semi-Natural shelter
3) Wildlife to hunt
4) Densely compacted Mana
and
5) Space enough to train.

After a month of solid searching... we found a hole. The hole is MASSIVE. You can easly fit 4000 skyscrapers next to themselfs with room to spare. The hole is so deep that you cant see the bottom.

[Well... I'm blind already so I guess the lack of light wont bother me much. I smell and hear running water. Gaia, please scout the hole]

Gaia: From the look of the edges, this seems to be a crater of some sort. I will execute recon programs. Please wait.

I sit on the floor to wait. Iris is still asleep in my arms. She hasnt eaten a thing sense she destroyed her egg. In this month, Hades has made me hunt basic animals using each of my DKA. His response...

Hades: "You suck. You might as well be unarmed."

He down right ripped my Scythe from my hands and told me I was disrespecting it. I didnt know weapons could be disrespected. I am now only allowed to use Hollow and my Orb as weapons with my TK.

Hades: Kid, put the pup down. It's time to continue your training.
.
Nodding, I gently placed Iris on the ground. I walk away with Hades and take Hollow out.

Hades: No. No weapons for this training. We are going to see how your battle form looks. You briefly cracked the door to it open when you dusted the dragon. Now it's time to blow the door off its hinges. Remove your goggles too. I dont want to break them.

[Battle Mode?]

Hades: Yes. As its named, it's the form that allows you to fight at your best. Few monsters have it but I'm betting you do. Did you know that if you hurt a Behemoth enough, it will sometimes remove its horn and stand on 2 feet?

I nodded remembering each time on earth I would get pissed at it. Its HP would be fully restored and it would hit like a truck after.

Hades: That is its battle mode. Its instincts force it to optimize its body for a fight. Most battle modes only happen after your in a fight for your life. That's why most monsters have more then one form.

[THATS WHY FINAL BOSSES HAVE 20 PHASES!!]

Hades: Huh?

[Ah... never mind. Continue]

Hades: Well... Apex Monsters can change to their Battle Form if they want to.

[Apex Monsters?]

Hades: Monsters that are the top of their breed. I'm sure you can control your battle mode because your the ONLY monster of your species.

[Ok... so how do we open the door?]
.
Hades: Thats easy, we push your body till it opens it for you. After its opened once, you will have full control over it.
.
I've got a baaaaaaaad feeling about this...
.
Hades: We will work your body until your one step away from dying... then we take a baby step more. After you heal up, we do it again. Once you have perfect control of your body, we can start with your weapon training.

Hades and I spared for a few hours... hand to bones. He is on a completely different level. I ended up with over 10 black eyes, a cracked rib, 5 finger holes in my gut from him not throwing a fist but a claw and a dislocated left arm.

Hades: I'm kind of rusty. I could have done better. I'm not use to my new bones.

[Why did you punch my eyes so much? I had 10 black eyes... IM ALREADY BLIND!!]

Hades: Meh, habit. It's always a good idea to blind your enemies.

Gaia: I have finished my mapping of the crater. I believe we have found our perfect residence here. I've detected plenty of Wildlife, a flowing waterfall to the south, enough ambient mana to fry my drone's sensors and raw gems throughout the crater. There is a few downsides... The gravity is much heavier in the crater due to the horn stuck in the center. Unknown what the horn belongs to but due to its size, the monster that the horn belongs to must be massive. No sign of said monster.

Hades: This is perfect. The extra gravity will help with your training kid. Let's go down and make ourselfs at home.

Hades jumped off the edge and yelled all the way down. A few minutes later, I felt him de-summon himself. After he rejoined me at the top...

Hades: ok new plan. We go down slowly and get use to the gravity gradually. You will die if you go all the way down at once.

[How heavy did it get?]
.
Hades: Well... I turned into dust from the wind on my way down. Heavy.
.
Gaia: Roughly 37 thousand times earth's gravity. We are at 20 times right now.
.
[Gaia, can you chart a safe path down that will allow us to get use to the gravity change?]

Gaia: Understood User.
.
It took us a year to make it to the bottom.

Ink POV
.
After Tail Boy visited us girls in our dreams... we didnt hear from him again yet. The 4 of us stayed in bed with Momma and talked about tail boy. Momma told us how the first thing he said to her was "I love you".
.
I told the other girls how I put the first Ribbon on his tail.
.
Father told us the story about him getting a shot from the doctor.
.
We fell asleep in Momma's bed later that night after telling any story we can remember about tail boy.

Ruin: Ms.Lunafreya... what do I do now?

Luna: What do you mean honey?
.
Ruin: My father made me with 1 purpose. Help Slate find the Impostor. When Slate was sent away... I lost my feeling. I use to be able to FEEL Slate and the other girls but now... I'm numb. Even with them right next to me... I can hardly tell they're there... I feel lost and it hurts.

She pulls me into a hug and puts her fingers through my hair.

Luna: Do you feel your bracelet around your wrist?
.
I look up at her confused. I brought my bracelet up and held it with my hand.
.
Luna: Good. Now... Close your eyes and focus. What do you feel?
.
I closed my eyes and let my ears fall down. In my hands, I held my Fathers eye gemstone.

Luna: Think of Ink.
.
I did as asked and in my hand... I felt a heart beat. The beat was almost musical. My eyes shot open in excitement.

Ruin: I feel her heart!!
.
Luna: Very good. Now try Marina.
.
As I was trying to not wake anyone up... I focused again and felt another heart beat. This one was faster and a little hot in my hand.

Ruin: I feel her too. Shes a little hot.
.
Luna: And how about Kareena?
.
Focusing again... Hers feels calming but strong. Hold on...
.
Luna: Now. Focus on what your missing. What do you want to feel the most?

My hands started shaking. My heart began pounding. I griped the gem like my life was in its grasp. I focused hard. Harder then the other 3 times before combined... Then I felt it.
.
I beat that I was able to hear anytime before. Strong and steady with a slight echo at the end. His beat. The beat I want to hear forever.

Luna: Its not that you couldnt feel him, you just needed to learn how to feel him when hes that far.
.
I fell asleep a few minutes later with a smile on my face and my bracelet in my clutches.
