8 Still Hopeful

Michael: 

After breakfast we drive to drop off my parents which was not a long trip I think it took longer for the girls to say their goodbyes.

It's amazing how mom and Liz get along like they've known each other their whole lives which i'm not complaining kind off works in my favor less chance of her feeling out of place later on.

I mean Emma already guards her like she's made of sugar glass, like she'll melt or shatter with the slightest of ease it's kind of amusing but at times worrisome to me how over protective she can be of her sometimes.

It's less than an older sister type more of a motherly type id say! still I can't wait till she's actually her sister in law, things will be interesting then. Because there is no way I'm letting this girl out of my side ever again!

Looking at her through the rear view mirror suddenly she looks up and our eyes meet but she looks down shyly instantly I love the way she bites her lip nervously and blushes her small actions sending millions of emotions throughout my whole body. Constantly testing the limits of my self restrain, yet all I can do in the end is try really hard and pray I don't fuck it all up and end up doing something we might regret. The last thing I need or we need is to scare or worst hurt her with out the chance to get close to her at all. 

Changing my train of thought to lessen my inner turmoil asking the girls if they would like to go eat something being it's already getting late.

Immediately Emma jumps up wrapping her arms around my neck begin to have some Chinese food take out from the other side of town.

So I call the house and let Chef Carmine know not to expect us for dinner and ask if he can send some one on a dinner run for us, Once the order is given and confirmed we drive straight home.

I'm pretty sure by now the girls might be really tired from the long trip back and forth. In spite of how uncomfortable we all are its kinda nice spending some time near her catching her glances from time to time. 

Emma:

I can't wait to get home I definitely need to stretch my legs maybe let Arabella out a minute or two we've been inside a lot since Lizzy has been here with us I don't really like leaving her alone much. Not that I completely mind I love spending as much time as I possibly can with her she's always a great source of calmness for me.  

 As I see things right now it might be kinda nice to go for a quick run and it seems that Michael had planed to have the rest of the afternoon off, So leaving him to watch over her it's kind of a good idea who else can keep her safer than 'My Big Bad Alfa Brother' I nod to my self for the brilliance and my beautiful mindfulness. Besides they seem comfortable enough with each other so I don't think either of them will mind it much. 

Any ways whats the worst that could happen they end up hooking up or something! I smirk proudly at the thought of her as my sister in law just then I notice my thoughts aren't that subtle, I look over and notice Michael's eyebrow cocked while glaring at me simultaneously, I look towards Liz she's blushing like mad. 

Holly Shit did i just say that out... out loud.

Of course Michael doesn't answer me he in turn just looks back to the road and continues to drive in silence. So my best source is Elisabeth I look over to her pitifully and pouting adding sad puppy dog eyes. But she's completely embarrassed fighting it so of course I got my answer. Yep! they both heard my stupid rant, Sooo!

Now I'll just sit here in complete silence until we get home. Great way to make things awkward between them. 

 ' I'm such and Idiot! '

Trying to cut the tension I turn the radio on and of course one of the most romantic songs ever starts playing once again I feel someone eyeing me I look up and there it is. 

Michael is glaring at me I know it's just out of the corner of his eye, By now i'm 100 percent sure the only thing keeping me alive is the fact that my big brother loves me.

I'm His Only Sister His Little Lovely Sister He Has To!

After about 20 minutes that seemed like for ever I decide I need to apologize nervously try to make light of the tense situation

"sorry i'm just really hungry and Arabella hasn't been let out in about 4 days and we're really really bored I don't know exactly what i'm saying.'' 

Looking over at Michael I hear Lizzy say.

"She wouldn't be stir crazy and acting up driving you nuts if it were not for that dumb diet you wanted to try out! I'm no werewolf but even I can tell that's not a good idea."

Damn It! what happen to miss shy rarely talks. I look over at her and she's staring straight at me suddenly again this is becoming a major Déjà vu moment because either this boy now loves glaring at me or i'm really getting on his nerves but that can't be it or at lest I hope not. 

Suddenly I hear. "What Diet?" damn it I try to pretend like I didn't really hear Michael ask me anything "I'm Waiting Emma Mary!"  

Merde! Pardon my french but crap.

I umm!.. was cutting down on carbs for the week too

umm...  

"Emma you are aware that not only are you hurting your self but you are endangering Arabella Is that what you wanted to go to college for to disregard your health, I've got half a mind of canceling your enrollment."   

You can't do that i'm 20 If I want to attend you cant keep me...

"I control the estate please illuminate me on how you will make tuition Emma."

You would't do that to me Michy i'm your little...

"Please try me Emma I dare you either take better care of yourself from now on and I'll need proof factual proof or i'm blocking bank cards credit cards and any card on your possession one by one.''   

Fine I guess Lizzy wins.

You were right Lizzy I'm Just freaking out about the mating festival since we're hosting this year! 

"See I told you your family wouldn't like it! We'll find another way to help settle your nerves."

I say jumping to the back and sitting basically on top of Lizzy hugging her tightly and adding.

Who knows it's rare but we might even find you a mate there too! 

Earning a bashful chuckle from her as Michael coughs and clears his throat.

'Dang it bro stop chocking on your own saliva play it cool I've still got hopes for you here!.'

Then the rest of the ride all 15 minutes of it were spent reminiscing about some activities that are set up to get the singles to mingle around and get to know each other more just in case your lucky enough to find your mate.

Maybe even Michael can find his mate this year right Michy we need a Luna and soon specially since mom ain't here to help out but don't worry about it you've got Elizabeth and my self to help you out.
