18 Spirit Animal
Meeting up with the rest of the guys I make my way to Emma and Logan with a quick goodbye and a see you tonight from Michael.
We start talking as Michael talks to Taylor and Carlo about something unrelated to the training. They take a seat on the bleachers and continue talking amongst them self since every other warrior or guard has finished with their assignment.
Mean while talking to Logan about getting together this weekend so I can explain everything about yesterday once and for all. I notice out of the corner of my eye as Michael gase in our direction completely unaware for a moment Anna moves in on him sitting on his lap wrapping her arms around his neck she pulls in for a lingering kiss.
Witnessing the kiss it's either he was completely overwhelmed by it and was completely off guard or he really does have feelings for her. Before he has a chance to do anything I pull Logan and Em away I don't want to stick around and get dumped publicly if that's the case here.
I don't know why seeing them together hurts so much, It literally hurts I feel like my heart is shredding up into tiny shreds.
Before Emma can ask anything I curb around her questioning by telling them I'm feeling drained do to the workout today and we should just chill and watch some movies. Of course it kinda worked as we walked in to the theater room I feel sparks running down my arm and back up. Looking back I see Michael grabbing hold of my arm looking dead serious.
"We need to talk!"
Great this is it I'm getting dumped before the actual date. Great!
I follow as he leads me towards his office I walk in as he closes the door behind us. I walk over to the couch in front of his desk and where he motioned for us to sit at. thinking that this might be bad news for me seeing as he was very comfortable with Anna back at the training grounds not so long ago. So me being me I had to get things out in the open as he was getting comfortably sited next to me in the comfortable couch.
Sensing his apprehension with dealing with the topic at hand I once again take the initiative and start the conversation at once basically cutting him off as he starts off.
It's Ok! I get it! it's really ok don't worry about it this you me thing, It was never meant to... I start off motioning between both of us when suddenly he cuts me off
"I'm sorry about what happen back there! I was caught of guard by her I would never. I'm really sorry I should of reacted faster I just did't know. I hope you didn't think I would play around with you like that."
It's ok! It must be hard on you and her, You don't have to explain anything honestly you are free to do anything you want with whom ever you want! Right?
"Are you mad at me right now! Look I'm sorry I didn't know she'd do that!
Wait what?"
Just as simple as breathing comes he pulls me closer to him.
"I can assure you baby that what ever she thinks is going on between us. There is no 'Us' I've told you once before I'd like to give us you and me us a try I want to get to know you and have you get to know me Angel no one else matters nothing else matters!"
What about when you find your mate? Michael what then?

"Liz your...I like you and nothing is going to change that ever I promise!"
Emma said no werewolf will be at peace with out his or her mate and well I'm di..I don't want to get hurt or hurt you Michael I like you too! you seem like such a sweet guy."

So are we still on for tonight Elizabeth don't make me beg for it! 'this Boy here is part wolf Angel I have no problem begging and angel for love if we have to!'
You play dirty, It's two against one, how's a girl supposed to fight that amount of charm.

And just like that I'm embraced once more by Mekhi then suddenly pulled into a breath stealing kiss that I wish would last for ever if possible. I enjoy the feelings of peace and safety the small tingles that take over me when ever in near or in contact with him. Wanting nothing more than to spend the rest of the evening in his arms enjoying the warmth or his closeness I've got a dinner date to get ready for and currently am running out of time to do so right now. Reluctantly very very reluctantly I loosen his hold on me and not liking the feeling of it I hear a low pained growl from him that sends a small shiver down the entire length of my back.
I've got to go get ready for tonight! I tell him stepping out of his grasp completely.
Unless...Well you'd like to cancel our dinner date for some reason?
That will never happen you've got an hour to be ready angel I'll be waiting on you anxiously and impatiently but gladly. And that is how I once more end up in an earth shattering kiss.
Rushing in to my room I've got to be ready soon, Emma is no help to me at this time she just keeps silently giggling about how if things work out we'd be sisters in law and I'd always be living with her here in the pack house.
I think that you are forgetting about Michael's mate! His true mate we are just going out tonight it's not a proposal Em someday he'll find her and won't even remember me at all.
"Oh! he'll remember you I'll make sure of that and no one else will be a good enough sister in law like you!"

I'm being realistic Em you and I both know there ain't much to be lived in a relation ship with your brother even if he doesn't find his mate anytime soon and we date for a while everything would sooner or later end and we know why!
"Don't remind me you look beautiful tonight I don't want to think of such unhappy things at the moment let me dream about being your sister in law a little longer I deserve a normal sister instead of the always to busy to have fun raging alpha o.k."

walking out of my room i'm glad I chose to wear my hair down in light curls paired great with my navy blue spring dress and looking in to Michael eyes i can tell he likes the look as well. And I love the way he looks in his dark wash jeans and black button up shirt mouth watering I'd say.
