75 Thomas finds Jackson

Jackson tried to call Chief Craig multiple times, but he just would not pick up the call. He frustratingly ended the call and locked the phone.

"He is not picking up the call now. What should we do? Shit!" Jackson looked at the sky and cursed.

They had been roaming around for a couple of days without proper food or water. It has become very difficult to try to skip the cops, military, and even civilians who were looking or searching for them, day and night. It had not been easy feet from the time the old lady saw them.

"It was all my fault. I should have listened to you and not gone to that guy's house. All I wanted was to sleep inside a proper home at least once. I... I… I am sorry. I am sorry, it's my fault."

Victor held his head. He looked like he had lost any hope that he had before.

"It's ok, we will find a solution. All we need to do is find a way to cross the border. How much money do you still have with you?"
