Damien walks behind me. His hand moves the hair away from my neck, “You’re no longer living in the mortal world. The rules are different here,” He brings his head down and presses his fangs softly on my neck. I gasp, “I can make you mine anytime I want and no one can stop me.” I turn around to face him and look him in the eyes. I will not let this man have control over me, “You’re right I’m no longer in the mortal world, but no matter where I am I will always have a choice.” I stand on my tippy toes and tuck the strand of black hair behind his ear away from his perfect porcelain face.
