53 4.4 Oracle Shit

Luxin lit up pure fire in the middle of the room, and the temperature instantly rose. The wounded creature started shrieking in pain and Mira too started to react. Shu XinYi quickly spread an extra layer of blue form over both, Mira and that creature. Surprisingly the creature didn't totally stop squirming, but Shu XinYi could tell that it was relieved of a lot of pain. The creature was obviously one of Mira's kind, judging by its intelligence and appearance. So Shu XinYi wasn't reluctant to atleast help it.

What Shu XinYi found odd was that although Luxin lit up a small amount of pure fire, he was trembling. This?

Snow replied before Shu XinYi even asked, "His power has weakened. Since he had been poisoned by Xuval 2 "days" ago. In the original he successfully tracked down Xuval to treat himself."

Shu XinYi understood, he too acted as if he was in pain. Eclipse came towards Shu XinYi to cut off the rope and said "Make something using your form. Remember to use all your energy. If the metal you make melts in this fire under 15 minutes, then I will hand you and your friend over to Manix, you know, the pig man you just met."

Shu XinYi nodded like a scared child and got to work. Without break he crafted a small metal rod, he dilebrately made it rusty and bumpy and he made it of a relatively low quality. Shu XinYi also took 3 whole minutes to craft such an easy thing, he just felt some sort of satisfaction seeing Luxin struggling, trying to make the fire hotter. The more time Shu XinYi took, the more Luxin would have to tremble like a chicken trying to keep the fire alive.

He only finished once he sensed impatience from Eclipse. Eclipse took the rod from him, melting it over the fire. In this time Shu XinYi said "Boss, I don't know how to make gold or silver I can just make this black stuff."

Eclipse replied in annoyance "I don't care about that, If this doesn't melt, then you get to live."

Shu XinYi was patient, he waited for 15 minutes while the metal rod burned under pure fire. Although it did show signs of melting, the rod still stood at the end. Both Luxin and Eclipse were very surprised. It was the first time they had seen this phenomenon happen. Although Eclipse said that he would kill him if the rod melted, he knew better than anyone that it was almost impossible for any sort of metal to not fully melt under the pure fire.

Maybe this was the miracle mentioned by the oracle, both eclipse and Luxin thought. Eclipse looked at Luxin and they both very naturally undid their surprised reaction. Luxin finally let the fire burn out and panted slightly. Eclipse threw the metal rod away saying "Seems like you aren't fully useless."

He called for one of his men and said to him "Take these 2.. nah take these 3 away down to the cells, give them regular treatment."

He turned around and said to Shu XinYi "Everyday, I will check up on your progress. By the end of this week if you are unable to make a proper, sharp and smooth surfaced dagger, then you become useless to me." Shu XinYi obediently nodded.

The man let down the creature, and bound all of them with a rope, taking them to the place Eclipse mentioned. Shu XinYi was silent during all this, and let himself be taken. At some point they had to go down some stairs, when they finally reached an underground cell.

The man threw all 3 of them inside the cell and closed the door using Form energy. After this, the man left as if he wasn't at all worried that they would escape. The cell was very weird, It had bars on one side and walls on the other 3 side, at one look this would look normal but the problem was this very thing. The cell was too normal. The spaces between the bars were large enough for Shu XinYi to pass through with some difficulty while, the bars and walls were not made of very sturdy material.

The confidence of the man who threw them here though, was as if he believed that this cell could hold even an angered beast. Shu XinYi was about to question Snow, whether the protagonists were too confident or too stupid, when Mira and the winged creature started to tremble in fear. Shu XinYi was a bit confused about what was going on when Mira said in a wavering tone "O-outside, don't go. The fire. I-it will kill us. It will kill all of us."

Shu XinYi looked at Mira then he looked at the creature, who was also sitting in the a corner withering in pain. Wrapping itself into more of a cocoon then it already was. Understanding the situation, Shu XinYi looked down at his wrist to see that Xiao B was relaxed as always. Shu XinYi still asked "Hey, Are you doing okay?"

Xiao B sensed anxiousness in Shu XinYi's voice so he detached himself from Shu XinYi's body. He took his regular form of a red ball and started bouncing around to indicate that he was okay. "Settle down, I think the form that man used wasn't just for locking up the cell door but actually infest our minds to be scared of going out. It doesn't seem to affect us though. Snow, let me and Xiao B see Luxin's PoV."

This was the first time Shu XinYi talked to Snow while Mira was present, since he didn't want to make it's presence known. Now though, Mira was too scared to take notice, same was the case with that creature. Shu XinYi had no idea how to remove the effect of that mind infestation form for now, so he decided to plan ahead.

Snow effectively projected Luxin's live recording, directly to Snow and Xiao B.

Luxin was in the same room as before, Eclipse was in front of him looking over a map. The map was very detailed and it seemed to record most parts of the whole planet.

Luxin spoke pointing to the map "Hundred meters south to this river, this is where we lost Xuval. It would have been easy to wave of his tracks if he crossed the river. It means that he has gone far south. I don't think he is stupid enough to enter the northern territory while he is in the state we left him."

Eclipse said, no more like argued back "Do you even know how powerful he is? I bought more than a 1000 men with me but none of them returned alive. If not for your stupid mistake of trying to keep him alive, we would have been done with him for good. Now he would be even more vigilant."

Luxin said in an irritated and angry tone "I am the one who faced the worse end of this deal. I am poisoned with Qilin blood. I am f*cking dying. For the past 2 days all you have done is argue with me. Why the f*ck don't you man up and go find him again. He is already injured, let's just hope he hasn't found anyone with moon form."

Eclipse threw the pen he was holding towards the wall so harshly that the pen stuck through a solid rock wall. He said with impatience "Are you F*cking insane? Even without a moon form that man can kill me with a swing of his hands. I am so done with this oracle shit. Who knows if what we heard back in the cave was even something remotely godly? Do this do that and you will become all powerful? Sounds f*cking convenient. Let's just stop this."

Luxin was getting angrier by the second, he grabbed Eclipse by his collar and said while directly looking into his eyes "I. Am.Not.Dying. Either way. You f*cking man up and kill that f*cking bastard. Or you can go live your life always being scared of him. I would leave you without a second thought. Your wife is trapped in that place. So you either find a way to open that hell up, or die trying."

Eclipse said in an equally angry tone "My wife is dead. Xuval opened the f*cking ground and pushed her into the depths of hell. You were not there to witness it. I was. You don't know how powerful he is."

Luxin sighed calming himself down and moved away from Eclipse after fixing his collar saying "I am sorry. But isn't this all the more reason to hunt him down. We have already found our mailman. Let's keep an eye on him and once he makes a good enough dagger, we fire it up and shove it into that bastard's heart. I won't try and stop it, previously I was sure I could use him by weakening him but now it doesn't matter. We have the weapon maker, there is hope. Let's just do it."

Eclipse was still a bit reluctant as he said "I don't know. Last time we had an army and we 2 barely made out alive, now we don't have more than a few 100 people who are able to fight. I don't even know how to find him. Even the tracking doesn't work."

Luxin thought for a while, pacing around in the room, seriously contemplating. Then he went and opened up his bag to take out something from it and gave it to Eclipse saying "Here try it again. Atleast that bastard is handless now. Unless he finds a Moon form even more powerful then me, he will have to live without his right hand. Try tracking him again with this. If he is nearby then the hand will detect it's original body."

Luxin did take out a bloody hand, which looked like it had been roughly cut off or even ripped off, even looking at it was painful. Shu XinYi sucked a breath of cold air, looking at the really beautiful hand, that was now blooded and ripped off from it's beautiful owner. Both Snow and Xiao B could sense hostility from Shu XinYi, it seemed that if Luxin was in front of him right now, he won't look remotely human 4 seconds later.

Snow immediately dispersed the recording for now since the more Shu XinYi looked at it, the more his mental fluctuations increased. Xiao B tried to calm down Shu XinYi by rubbing himself on his left ear. Honestly, he had faced worse in wars and battles he fought back in his planet. Although he never lost a limb, it still wasn't a big blow to lose one now. Moreover once his body reforms, he can gain his original body back, so he didn't understand why Shu XinYi was so angry.

Xiao B jumped around, trying to gain Shu XinYi's attention and finally it worked. Shu XinYi calmly put his hand forward indicating Xiao B to come near. Xiao B obediently went to float over Shu XinYi's palm in a docile manner.

Shu XinYi said calmly and in a gentle tone as if the one who wanted to rip Luxin to pieces wasn't him "Why do you get hurt like this? I can't let Luxin get away with this. But if I am being too inhuman in my dealings then I want you to stop me. I don't know if I'll be able to hold back while facing Luxin. But know this. Whoever hurts you, they will surely face hell. Tell me am I wrong to wish for his death?"

Xiao B honestly indicated a No. If Shu XinYi wanted to kill someone or wanted someone dead, then there should be a pretty good reason. The reason itself may not be morally correct but for Shu XinYi, it is a justified and a thought out reason. Xiao B personally didn't care if Luxin lived or not. When Shu XinYi said that whoever hurts Xiao B will surely face hell, Xiai B felt strangely at home. Like he had found something he long lost. Not ever, did he want to let go of this feeling. Not ever did he want to let go of this man beside him.

Xiao B thought, even if you want to burn the whole world down including everything I own, as long as you stay by my side, I will burn it all with you. Xiao B, didn't know he was capable of having such dangerous thoughts. Although he was a military commander for most of his life, these kind of ruthless thoughts were foreign to him. Right now though, it felt natural to have these thoughts. Xiao B looked at the gentle eyes and calm tone of the man in front of him and silently made a declaration, Whatever comes in your way and whatever you do, I will stay by your side regardless.

Snow while witnessing these newly born psychopaths was just ┐( ˘_˘ )┌. Well, Snow did not have a moral code to begin with, so it wasn't bothered. Shu XinYi calmed down after some more comfort from Xiao B, he also wanted to confirm something from Xiao B so he asked "Tell me honestly, did you kill Eclipse's wife?"

Xiao B nodded, Shu XinYi hummed in thought as he asked "Can they track you while you are in this form?"

Xiao B shook saying no. Well it was good enough. Right now Shu XinYi wanted to evaluate the conversation he heard, he asked Snow to replay it. Although he was still angry seeing the hand part, he watched calmly to understand the situation better.

Eclipse mentioned a cave and some oracle they heard. This oracle was the driving force of the actions they took. The cave was probably the one mentioned in the original.

Snow said "The cave is still unopened. To open it they have to get a key which they can get from killing Xuval. This is what the oracle talked about. Inside the cave is the mine of spritual gems that give them a very high and concentrated spritual power but again, since there are many beings on this planet, the power remained divided and the original story followed."

Shu XinYi evaluated. It seemed like they had lost their weaponsmith in the last battle with Xuval, and hence they wanted a new one, which is how Shu XinYi was pardoned from death and locked inside this cell. Without Xuval dying the cave won't open up is what this meant, but Shu XinYi felt like there was more to it. There was a bigger plan in play here, then what could be seen and heard. Why would Xuval's death, who came from an other planet, be even remotely connected to opening up a very ancient cave on this planet? It seemed like the oracle was pushing for Xuval's death, by baiting Luxin with the idea of finding that cave and becoming all powerful. Instead of just helping Luxin find the cave.

For the next few hours, Shu XinYi sat in the "closed" cell in a meditative state. He didn't know how to help Mira and that creature so he could only focus on understanding his Moon form better. He couldn't let Xiao B have his meal since he didn't want to risk getting caught. Shu XinYi had already decided to stay in this camp for now.

He had also decided that he would deal with both, Luxin and Eclipse in necessary ways but right now he wasn't planning to stay for long. Since they were deep underground, it was difficult to fully absorb moon energy, Although Shu XinYi could use it normally. During the rise of red moon, he would leave but till then he decided to stay.

After several hours, it was Luxin who finally came to pay a visit. Shu XinYi was much more calm now when facing him.

Before Luxin got close to the cell door Shu XinYi asked Snow "He has moon form right? Then why doesn't he make metal himself. Surely he is able to make it right?"

Snow replied "Master, Having a relatively high spritual bearing doesn't mean he is able to use the moon form perfectly. Moreover he has been weakened now. Before he already couldn't reach the level of crafting metal that wouldn't melt in pure fire, so how can he do it now? Oh but since he is the protagonist, this short coming has its benefit. Not being able to use the black moon correctly, he was able to master the blue moon. So even if his limbs are cut off, as long as he is breathing he can fully heal his body and regrow his limbs with time. Obviously it would be a painful process but it's better then being dead."

Shu XinYi asked in a very peculiar tone "How painful is this process?"

Snow timely replied "It says here that it was a painful experience, but I don't know the level of pain. You can try cutting your limbs off and regrow them if you really want to know."

Shu XinYi smirked saying "Oh, for sure, I would love to experiment that."

Luxin who was walking towards the cell felt a cold chill on his body.
