76 Chapter 75

"Round four?"

Silently observing Zuyuan's figure, Vorgron hesitated for a moment as he couldn't figure out the missionary in front of him. At times, he looked already beaten up and almost at the death's door. Yet, the man himself already proved Vorgron how wrong he was, twice.

Trying to not make his legs tremble, Zuyuan gritted his teeth secretly as he wanted to faint any moment now. The burst of power, speed, senses, and all that was fading away from him. Now, the toll had caught up on him. His body was screaming to his mind for him to get some rest as soon as possible.

"What round four? You're about to drop dead, you walking corpse!" Vorgron bellowed, grasping his gauntlet claws in a clenched fist as fire concentrated within them.

"Am I?" Zuyuan bluffed, radiating killing intent from his gaze towards the dragonkin.

Staying silent, Vorgron couldn't decide if he should back away right now or if he shall continue with this match. The man before him suddenly became dangerous at any time when he had his guard down, perhaps it would be best to push through and kill him now rather than later.

However, on the next moment, a barrage of bullets filled with energy was shot right in Vorgron's direction. Expanding his flames to create a dome as a barrier, Vorgron frowned his eyebrows in displeasure while he spotted the mech armored being that always followed the swordsman.

Then, dozens of lightning bolts were thrown to the flames barrier, adding more pressure to it. Seeing that his opponent had received more reinforcements, Vorgron snorted and said, "It's not the end, Swordsman."

Flapping his draconic wings, Vorgron flew to the sky in a single leap. With Vorgron's disappearance, all of the missionaries around that had been watching the fight unfold from the beginning began to stare at Zuyuan. Their gazes were showing whom they thought had won this skirmish fight in the middle of the battlefield.

Arriving on Zuyuan's side, Ling Zhue observed Zuyuan's battered figure and asked, "Are you okay?"

Smiling tiredly, Zuyuan was brought to his knees. His strength left him, as he was breathing heavily he was feeling the aches, pains, and stings from all of his body.

"Never felt better." Replied Zuyuan weakly, his face became pale slowly.

"Master, should I escort you to the back line?" Asked XB11 in a concerned tone.

"No.. It's alright." Waving his hand to disagree, Zuyuan tried to stand up. But his feets were in much worse state than he had imagined.

'I think I broke a bone.. Or two.. Or a lot..' Thought Zuyuan to himself as he contemplated a way to get him back on his feet again.

"I think it's better for you to take a break, uncle." Quipped Ling Zhue while he scrutinized Zuyuan's physique, "You had expended that… 'Thing's energy. It was quite a scene."

"I'm fine." Responded Zuyuan stubbornly. As he had noticed the minimal amount of strength he had grown when he killed those missionaries before he fought against the dragon-like missionary.

'Perhaps I should try to kill more..' With his train of thought coming to that conclusion, Zuyuan gripped the handle of his invisible sword tightly.

Utilizing the sliver of Qigong left in his body, Zuyuan stood up and closed his eyes while thinking. The only way to make him able to move was to activate his Undying Will. Without that, there would be no way for him to strike against any missionaries.

"Do any of you have a poison that is potent enough to kill but at the same time too long to work?" Inquired Zuyuan towards Ling Zhue and XB11.

Shaking its head, XB11 replied, "I'm sorry master. I have no poisons in my mech armor."

Turning to the last person, Ling Zhue, Zuyuan asked again, "How about you?"

Squinting his eyes in puzzlement, Ling Zhue answered with another question, "Right now? Why would you even need a poison, uncle? You want to kill yourself?"

Chuckling at how true Ling Zhue's words were, Zuyuan nodded in acknowledgement, "Yes I am."

Speechless by the reply, Ling Zhue shook his head and denied Zuyuan's request "Then I won't give you any of it, uncle. I can't restrict you from doing what you want. But I still can choose to help or not, especially when those decisions are bad ones."

"Ling Zhue." Staring towards the young man before him, Zuyuan pleaded, "Please. I would need it right now."

"And why would you need it?" Retorted Ling Zhue with a grim expression.

Placing one of his hands on Ling Zhue's shoulders, Zuyuan said.

"To end the war."
