Staying silent for a second, the voice of the being then taunted mischievously, ~"Why? Are you afraid?"~

"Isn't that obvious?" Admitted Zuyuan without hesitation as he spoke, "I couldn't even beat one of the missionaries in my sector. How could I defeat something like the entire system?"

~"Hehe. Then the solution is simple. Keep getting stronger."~ Commented the voice while she said, ~"Moreover, it's not like you will have to defeat the System by frontal confrontation right here, right now. With your current capabilities, it's a suicide."~

"Getting stronger...?" Asked Zuyuan as he noticed the implying tone that the voice had said in his head.

~"That's right."~ stated the goddess immediately.

"How?" Inquiried Zuyuan in puzzled manner.

~"Fight. Fight and find the way to become stronger, my Champion."~ Chuckled the voice as she continued, ~"However, don't ever rely on me. I'll be quite disappointed, you see."~

"So.. I'm on my own?" Asked Zuyuan with a wry smile.

~"Mmm, someone will guide you, but it won't be me."~ Informed the voice nonchalantly.

Reaching the exit of the cave together with XB11, Zuyuan let out a sigh as he realized both of them had talked quite a bit. Frowning his eyebrows, Zuyuan asked, "How about me? The System had tried to kill me back then."

~"You will be fine. I had made it that you will look just like the rest of the missionaries in the System's radar. But still, try to avoid any direct scanning by the System just to make sure. Now, time for me to go, for now, just survive my dear Champion.…"~

Soon, the voice became quiet and the presence within his head suddenly vanished in seconds. Clicking his tongue in an annoyed expression, Zuyun pondered silently.

'D*mn it. She's as wishful as ever.. Can I even trust her?'

'Coming and going as she please..' Complained Zuyuan while he shook his head. Putting away the thought of the being in him, Zuyuan turned his face to XB11 and ordered, "Let's go back."

"Yes, master." Nodded XB11 in agreement.

Then, both of them moved towards the direction where the goblin's camp was located and quickly left behind the cave. On their way, Zuyuan muttered the word 'Status' as he wanted to assess his condition more.

"I think I had seen him going somewhere with that cyborg mercenary?" Answered Marvelick while he tried to burn a piled up salted fish on the ground.

"Hey, can you knock it off? It's freaking food you know!" Scolded Camilla, she slapped the back of Marvelick's head.

"Ouch! Be careful with that strength, you gorilla in disguise of a woman!" Retorted Marvelick as he rubbed his head gently with wince in pain.

"Huh? This punk dares…" Massaging her knuckles, Camilla looked at Marvelick with a dangerous smile while the vein of her forehead bulged.

Shortly, many notifications sounded in the head of all the missionaries in the area, with many of them immediately stunned when they skimmed through the mission's introduction. Having the transparent blue box emerged from thin air in front of her, Camilla halted her movements with her eyes unconsciously landing on the mission's introduction.

The boisterous scene in his surroundings already proved that it wasn't his imagination. Snapping back to reality, Ling Zhue noticed something peculiar about this time mission.

'There's no punishment written in here... '

Contemplating about the possibilities that it might implied from this piece of information, Ling Zhue had noticed that the System didn't have any clue about the dark missionary either.

'Somehow… I feel this will be anything but a simple mission.'

As the missionaries had reacted in various ways from the sudden development given by the System, on another part of the forest, Zuyuan who was still running back had a notification showing up right at the time when all the missionaries received the mission.
