59 Chapter 58

"Isn't that...A missionary?"

It was a face of someone Zuyuan had seen, in fact it wasn't all that long ago since Zuyuan last saw that face.

'No, he's not a missionary anymore. He is one of the Abominations.'

That face was the face of a certain young man who held the missile launcher on the first day of the Ragnar world mission when the both of them had met. He was full of bandages on the noon's battle as he screamed his brother's name, the humanoid giant stone.

'That time.. He was killed…'

That man had lost his life on the battlefield between orcs and goblins, and yet here he was, fighting against the residents of the world tree with a body full of mismatched giant bug parts, which had the body of spider, the head of a human, legs of a mantis, and tail of a scorpion.

'How…? How did he come to this place…? No, more importantly.. What does his appearance here mean?'

For those that die to suddenly become an Abomination in the middle of nowhere, was this the fate for those who have lost their lives?

Activating his ultimate speed, Zuyuan moved in a zigzag way as he proceeded to that bug with the face of a missionary. Slashing anything that was too persistent to chase him, Zuyuan finally arrived in front of the bug-like abomination while he released his transparent doppelgangers at the same time.

Ordering his doppelgangers to deal with the surrounding abominations for a while, Zuyuan slashed the abomination's limbs in front of him in a swift manner. After he was done, he kicked the creatures backward as he pinned it to the ground with his leg, while he spoke, "You.. Aren't you supposed to be a missionary? Why were you here? "

"Raaaahkkk!"

However, it couldn't perceive what Zuyuan had said to it as it trashed its body around, trying to get off Zuyuan from atop of its body.

The abomination's scorpion-like tail flew towards Zuyuan's direction, who promptly dodged and cut the tip off, sending it flying a few meters away.

"Raaarkkkkkkg!" A screech of pain sounded as it began thrashing around violently, its human-like face began leaking saliva as it continuously tried to bite at Zuyuan who still stood over it.

"You're no longer in there, are you?" Zuyuan murmured, watching the monster's actions with a cold face while he readied his blade.

The abominable missionary tried to move from side to side, in an attempt to break free with what was left of its body but to no avail, it had been reduced to nothing but a wild beast seeking to devour those before it. Seeing that the abomination had no more conscience to have any conversation with, Zuyuan gave up and swung his blade.

With a clean cut, Zuyuan's sword flashed and the past missionary's head flew away from the creature's body, "At least now you won't be one of them anymore, in a sense." Zuyuan spoke and turned to face the great being of water that still battled against the man who should be an Administrator of the Sanctuary.

'So I should fight that boss like character next, huh.' Thought Zuyuan while his eyes wandered across the battlefield.

Curling up his lips, Zuyuan said, "Well, before you deal with the boss, you have to level up first."

Shortly, Zuyuan continued his 'farm', moving in the battleground like a ghost as he slashed everything around him.

****

The roar of a water dragon rang out in the area as the gigantic being of water formed a draconic maw and opened its jaw right at the other being that jumped high in the sky.

"Heh."

Snorting in disdain, Ryuhei pointed his katana right towards the dragon as the tip of the blade started to shoot a column of black flames, with a diameter that easily surpassed fifteen meters in a glance.

Both of the two opposing elements began to clash with each of them making a huge shock wave with a vast radius, creating ripples right in the air. As if both energies were in tug of war, each of them had difficulties to advance and were in a state of stalemate.

The scene seemed like that of a Dragon breathing flames, yet in reality it was a wave of primordial water clashing against hell fire.

The water dragon had one advantage in this clash of power though, it's shape was not static and could change.

From the top of the dragon head, eight new smaller heads appeared with an elongated neck and moved to all sides, rushing from every direction towards Ryuhei with each maw opened wide!

"Oh? Not bad!" Chuckled Ryuhei as he swung his sword horizontally, creating a long trail of black flames all around him. The line started to burst as it had a sea of fire materialize, swooping all around like a volcanic eruption.

The long trail of fire stopped the eight maws that had lunged at Ryuhei, managing to evaporate them upon contact.

Now, opening his palm, a three finger sized whirlwind made of black flames was dancing atop of it. Waving that same hand in the air, Ryuhei spoke with an arrogant tone, "How about this?"

The small whirlwinds immediately became three gigantic hurricanes of flames in the air. Sweeping enemies and allies alike, the three hurricanes began to move at the giant water, coming to it at a steady pace.

Spreading both of its arms wide, thousands of long water spikes had emerged from its body and started to fly at the three hurricanes with the speed of a bullet. Everytime half of the distance had been crossed by the spear of water, thousands of the water spears began to freeze to an absolute zero degrees out of nowhere and created a hail of ice rain instead.

The two opposing forces once more clashed, this time as hurricanes of hell fire and hails of ice spears that sent shockwaves upon contact in all directions.

The heat on one side burnt up the surroundings while the ice on another side froze everything in the vicinity, it was as if mother nature herself was causing a catastrophe.

Once the clash of elements ceased, a wall of smoke dotted the surroundings from the evaporated ice and water, all seemed to have calmed down until...
