9 We Need Answers

"Why did you leave at that orphanage?! Wh-Why didn't you just give us to a relative or family friend until you guys were able to look after us again?!" Screamed Light.

"We're so sorry but we had no choice." mumbled Haruka.

"That is not good enough, mother!" Teru cried, "You need a better excuse than that!"

"Well... We needed money to buy for your mother's treatment, so... we sold you both to Hiroyasuaiji Orphanage." muttered Hiro.

"What were you thinking!" Light bellowed, "People are not items to buy!"

"We are so, so sorry!" wailed Haruka. "We wanted you back so badly but we weren't able to get you back."

"You weren't able to get us?!... So, you just gave up? And what did you do after you gave up, you had more kids for the sake of missing your children! And may I ask how many children you have had after you gave us away?" Teru shrieked.

"Uh... 3." mumbled Haruka under her breath.

"What the hell! Why did you have 3 other children?! You could of spent your time looking for us!" Light growled.

Haruku got up and left weeping.

"Now look what you've done! I can't deal with the crying any longer!" shouted Hiro. "We had spent a long time looking for you guys and we don't need any of your cheek young man!"

"Look, we're sorry but you really need to calm down! And with all this shouting and crying is not solving or helping anything and anyone!" yelped Teru.

"I don't care if your sorry but you've just caused even more problems!" screamed Hiro.

"We've caused more problems?! You and mother were the ones that started the problems in the first place! All our lives we've been lied to and we've just recently just found out that we were brothers seperated at a very young age! We've been looking for you guys for less than a week, and that proves we find people better than you can!" Light shrieked.

As Light was about to say something else, one of the 3 children, who was named Daigo, came in and screeched, "Shut up you lot! You are not doing yourselves any favours by screaming and blaming at eachother! You are making mother, Sonoko, Yumi and I stressed."

"Sorry, Daigo. Now go back upstairs to your room." said Hiro in a rushed tone.

There is a long and awkward silence. Hiro gets up a makes some green tea for himself, Teru and Light.

Hiro sits back down and takes a sip of green tea.

"I'm... I'm sorry, I honestly am. I didn't mean to put all of this stress on you guys. I know it must of been hard for you. There was a lot of stress on your mother and I when you were young and we couldn't handle it. Also with the Kira situation has put on even more stress on us. We just don't feel safe anymore. I hope you two understand." Hiro grieved.

"Yes we understand, father." mumbled Teru.

"But there is still many other questions that you need to answer!" Light said angrily.

"Calm down, Light." demanded Teru.

Light asked many questions, his father tried to answer them as honest and best he could but he couldn't handle it any longer.

"Light, please may you stop. I can't handle it any longer." asked Hiro.

"B-But there is many questioned that still need answered!" shouted Light.

"Ask another day. Anyway I think its time for you two to leave its getting late. You can come tomorrow as long as you don't start an argument and make your mother upset."

Light and Teru nodded and left the house.
