5 The Start of Finding Their Parents

"How are we going to find our parents if we don't where they live and if they are even around anyomore?" asked Teru, worried.

" I don't know, Teru." muttered Light, "We need to still get more information."

"I'll can call my 'mother' to find out which orphanage we were at and then we can call the orphanage." suggested Teru.

"That's a good idea, Teru." said Light, pleased. "Can you call her now?"

"Yes, I'll call her." replied Teru. Teru called his 'mother' and found out the orphanage that Light and Teru were at for a while when they were young.

"I found out that we were put into Hiroyasuaiji Orphanage. You were around 3 and I was 1 when we were put into the orphanage." Teru said. "That is intriguing." replied Light. "How about we go to the orphanage tomorrow."

"I think we should go."

The next morning

Light and Teru are driving to Hiroyasuaiji Orphanage in Kumamoto. "Teru, how are you feeling?" Asked Light. "I'm feeling a bit stressed. What about you?" said Teru.

"I'm also feeling the same way." replied Light.

after a several hour drive they had finally reached the orphanage. They both walk up to the door with fear. Light rings the door bell and waits for someone to answer. The door opens to a 52 year old woman at the door. "Hello, gentleman, how may I help you?" said the woman, in a curious manner. Light answered, "Well, my brother and I are wanting to get some answers. We believe that we stayed here for some time at a very young age and we are trying to find our biological parents."

"I see." replied the woman, "How about you come in and I'll try and answer some of your questions."

They all walk to the office in the orphanage and sat down to talk. The woman started to talk, "So, let me introduce myself, my name is Chika Hamada. I've been looking after this place for 26 years."

"My name is Light and this is my younger brother, Teru." told Light, "Apparently our biological parents, Hiro and Haruka Eguchi put us here just over 20 years ago."

Chika looks at Teru and Light in shock. She can't believe it, she has finally met Teru and Light after 20 years.

"Oh my goodness!" cried Chika, "I remember you two! You guys have grown so much!"

"Y-You remember us?!" asked Teru.

"Of course I do! You guys were so adorable when you were young."

"So, can we ask some questions now?" Teru asked. Chika replied, "Oh, yes what's on your mind?"

"Do you have an address for our parents?" asked Teru.

Chika answered, "I do have the address but I don't know if they have moved house at all in the last 20 years."

Light then asked, "Why did we get seperated?"

Chika answered with, "I don't know why you two were seperated. My boss did not tell me anything about it."

"Can you please tell us where your boss is." demanded Light.

"After she retired, my boss moved out of Kumamoto and apparently she moved to Nagasaki." trembled Chika.

After Chika gave more answers to Light and Teru she gave them the address of where there real parents lived 2 decades ago.

"Light, are we going to find this boss of Chika's?" asked Teru, suspiciously. "Yes we are, Teru!" replied Light. "She holds a lot of answers and I need to get them!"
