16 Prologue

Crack!! Boom!

As it rains, the loud thunder-crackling sounds were heard. Sitting on a couch with a coffee in hand was an old man.

"Sigh..."

A sigh was released from his mouth, as he watches the rain. A gloomy atmosphere enveloped the room.

Creak!

The creaking sound of the wooden floor was heard as the old man stood up and walk towards a cabinet as he took out a picture frame.

Inside it is a picture of a group of children smiling together. With them are some adults also smiling? He gently touched the picture frame and smiled ruefully.

"It's been many years since then...I wonder how they are now? Probably an old man like me too, hehe" Chuckling in his own words, the old man then put down the picture frame for display.

"Sigh..."

Another sigh escaped from his mouth as he went back and sat on the couch to drink his coffee.

"Well then...I suppose it's time now, right?" The old man turned towards a corner. It was dark and badly illuminated.

"Keke, that's a right old man. I already gave you the chance, and now it's time for you to die." From the shadows, a man slowly emerges along with cackled laughter.

"Sigh...Then before I go, may I ask what your name is?"

The man frowned a bit before answering, "And why do you want to know?"

"Just take it as a dying wish of this old man. It is but my simple wish"

"...Ryan" After hesitating for a bit the man answered.

"I see...then you can do it now" Slowly closing his eyes, the old man smiled peacefully. While Ryan slowly took out a gun and aimed it at the old man's head before triggering it.

Bang!

A loud bang was heard after he was done killing the old man. He left the house, outside he looked back at the house.

It was a small house made of wood, it was located far away from the town. It was at the foot of a mountain.

"Sigh...Work was done" Ryan muttered but he clenched his fist in frustration. Putting his hands in his pocket, he took out his phone.

Ring!

{Hello? Are you done with the job?} A voice from the opposite of the phone asked.

{...Yes, it's done now. Have you transferred the money? If not, you know what will happen....}

{Of course, job well done for you}

Toot!

The call was cut off. Ryan slowly walked in a direction away from the house. After a moment, his silhouette disappeared in the darkness.

"...A billionaire who liked to help many people, like donating money to the orphanage right? And you are also very different as you liked to live humbly in a small house on the foot of a mountain. Right, Leo Einhart?" A smiling old man with an amiable expression stated.

"Yes, your right I liked the tranquil atmosphere near the mountains, but that's due to my old age." The same old man in the small house previously said. He was currently sitting in an office-like space and front of him is an old man too.

"...So, may I ask if this is the place where I will be judged?" The old man or Leo asked.

"Hehe, no this place is not that kind of place. This is my domain"

"Then why am I here? And who are you?" Leo asked, he was confused as he knew he should be dead.

"Hmm...to answer that, it's because you have accumulated a huge amount of good karma. And it's still growing as we speak. And as for who I am, I am the creator of the omniverse where countless multiverse is."

"Uh...okay?" Leo said, earning him a chuckle from the old man.

"Anyway, due to your accumulated good karma, I will grant you 6 wishes. Any wish you want."

"...And what's the catch?" Leo asked as he frowned a bit.

"Haha, nothing of that sort. What can I possibly want with you, I'm the most powerful being in the whole omniverse and I can do practically anything."

Leo heaved a sigh of relief, "Then for my wish, I would like all the children and orphans to be happy. I will not wish for something like world peace since they'll probably just start wars again a few years later. " After saying that Leo didn't say anything more.

"...Done, Is that all? You still have 5 wishes you know? You know you can wish to travel to a different world or something"

"Oh?" Leo's interest was piqued.

"Haha, let me tell you now. All the things you watched or read are all true, like those animes or mangas? There are worlds out there just like those, of course, there were also some parallel worlds to those. So, interested?"

"Let me think for a bit" Leo replied, of course, he was quite excited. During his youth,h he was an otaku.

Even when he built his own company, he would still spare some time to watch some animes. He also read some fanfiction so he knew the concept of being reincarnated to a different world but he didn't think it would be true as well.

"...I've decided, for my first wish I want all of the shadow monarch's powers but upgraded to the point the wish is able to." Leo started saying his wishes.

"For my second wish, a version of Asborn's dark heart but make it so it produces infinite mana. Third, all of Ashborn's memories experiences whether it be leading an army or battle experience but please make it so the memories wont affect me. Fourth, I want to be able to travel to different worlds. Fifth, I want a super growth skill that lets me become stronger faster." Leo said his wishes continuously in one breath.

The creator listened to all of it before nodding, "All right, all of your wishes are granted. The Shadow Monarch's powers are alright. You can also become stronger by killing monsters too, just like getting exp to become strong, take it as a bonus perk from me. A dark heart with infinite mana is within the range of the wish, your third wish is also accepted. And lastly, the super growth skill, I will let you have it, but I will only allow a 10 times multiplier. Meaning if you did exercise for 1 hour then the effect will be multiplied by 10 but you will only feel like you exercise for an hour."

After all of it was done, Leo bowed with his body, "Thank you, creator, for giving me this chance."

"Hahaha, that's alright. Then tell me which world you want to go to first. I'm informing you this now but I will send you there as a kid so your body can get used to your powers"

Leo nodded, "Then...before I say which world I want to go to first. I want to ask, can my powers be used on creatures such as Grimms? From what I know they disappear after being killed and are supposedly soulless. Will my powers be able to get them as my shadow soldiers?"

"You can since I will upgrade your powers but let me explain something, those creatures called Grimms are not soulless. After all, living beings all have souls but others just can't see or feel them, only those powerful beings proficient in law over souls can. Anyway...you should tell me your choice first."

"Then I choose the world of Remnant first. I think it will be good to start there."

"Very well, then enjoy your new life."

Leo then vanished from the office. While the creator still sat on his chair.

"Now then let me watch how you grow and enjoy your new life...son" The old man muttered with a smile. "Ah, he should get some wives along the way. His previous life has been too lonely, sigh..."

Island of Patch, inside of a forest a kid about 8 years old was unconscious. With otherworldly looks, has silver-white hair.

Tap Tap Tap

"Hm?" A man with black hair noticed the kid while walking. Slowly he approached the kid and noticed he was unconscious.

"Who was the one who left a kid here?!" Qrow exclaimed, then he carried the unconscious kid.

He walked for a bit and reached a house, he used his foot to knock on the door.

Bam! Bam!

"Tai, open the door. It's me Qrow!" he shouted

"Coming!" Then the door opened, revealing a man with blonde hair and tanned skin. Upon seeing Qrow carrying a kid, surprise flashed on Tai's face.

"Qrow, where did you kidnapped this kid?!" Tai exclaimed while pointing at the kid.

"I did not kidnap him, I found him near your house unconscious." The corner of Qrow's mouth twitched as he retorted. Then he forced his way inside and placed the kid on the sofa.

"Where are the girls?" Qrow asked after laying the kid down on the couch in the living room.

"They are already sleeping" Tai replied as he sat on a chair followed by Qrow. Just when they were about to talk more, they heard a groan.

"Ugh!"

They turned their heads and saw the kid Qrow brought in, was waking up. Looking around his surroundings the kid was confused before seeing Qrow and Tai.

"So you're finally awake kid," Qrow said while curiously watching the kid. "What's your name? I found you lying down near here, what happened?" he continued.

While Leo aka the kid replied, "My name is Leo Einhart, I'm an orphan. As for why I got here, I can't remember" All of what he said has some truth, as he was an orphan and he didn't know how he got here as he was just teleported here.

"So you don't have a place to stay huh," Qrow said, he thought of something before shaking his head.

"Can I ask where am I?" Leo asked

"You're in Island of patch in the kingdom of Vale. By the way, I'm Qrow, I was the one who found you. This is Taiyang Xiao Long, the owner of this house" Qrow introduced himself and Tai.

"...Um then what will happen to me now?" Leo pretended to be sad as he asked this question.

Qrow and Tai look at each other before sighing. Tai then turned to Leo, "You can sleep here for a few days and we can decide later what will happen next"

"Thank you" Leo thanks Tai after all he truly doesn't have a home since he was randomly teleported here.

"Any way you can sleep first."

The next day, two kids ran down from upstairs. One is a cute girl with blonde hair, she was about 8 years of age.

While the other one was a cute girl with black hair and silver eyes. The two were still wearing their sleeping wear when they went down.

Upon reaching the first floor, they noticed an unknown kid with otherworldly looks with silver-white hair sleeping on their couch.

Creak*

"Oh, you two are awake" They heard a voice coming from the door that just opened. Then entered Tai who was smiling upon seeing his two daughters.

"Dad, who is he?" Yang asked, she was the kid with blonde hair.

"Ah, that is Leo he will be staying with us for a few days as he doesn't have a place to stay. Your uncle Qrow found him lying near our house last night. Oh yeah, can you wake him up? We will have breakfast soon"

The two nodded excitedly. Then they woke Leo up. Ruby and Yang shook him awake.

"Hey hey, wake up!"

"Uh?" After Leo woke up he saw two girls looking at him. One with blonde hair and another with black.

"Come on, my dad said we will have breakfast," Yang said while dragging him.

After having breakfast, Leo was dragged by the two active girls to play even though they only just met.

While Leo just went along with them to play. Then he found a way and escaped from them before finding a quiet place.

Now Leo was sitting under a tree contemplating some things. "First, I need to train my body and unlock my aura so I can kill Grimms and test my powers. From what the information I got in my head, the abilities are much more powerful than their canon counterpart," he muttered.
