2 Ch2. Cute as a button

It had been two days since Haru came to this world, honestly it was all he could hope for.

He learned quite a lot from Mr.Seth the wagon driver, and Bell.

They were headed to a city called Orario, a large walled city with a dungeon at its center.

Apparently, adventurers would get a blessing from a descended God and then delve into said dungeon in hopes of power, woman, wealth and fame.

This blessing was called a Falna, and receiving one made you a part of a familia.

However after this, Haru stopped listening, it seemed like a waste for him, no way he was delving into a scary dungeon filled with things that want to kill you.

Bell was very talkative, apparently the last of his family recently passed away, his grandfather. So he was happy that Haru now called him big brother.

Bell however was shocked at how old Haru was, he got upset that Haru was left alone in the middle of nowhere when he was only 12.

Not that Haru looks 12, more like 8.

Orphans have it tough, less food, less love and crazy pig kings drop kicking you out of nowhere in 'self defense'.

Haru also learned about some of the famous Familias in Orario.

There was the strongest, Freya.

The most versatile, Loki.

And finally the most important according to the man in the armor, Hephaestus.

Speaking of, his name was Riles, a level two blacksmith from the Hephaestus Familia. Apparently he had a contract that he had to deliver for and hired Mr.Seth to bring it for him.

A nice guy who bell kept pestering about adventuring info, the man was a level 2 which was a big thing to Bell.

It confused Haru though, level two didn't seem all that powerful considering his own level, after he settled into the journey, he finally got time to look into his stats and holy moly.

[Haru]

[Titles- Otherworlder, Slayer of the the Spacial abyss dragon, The cutest]

He got Otherworlder for obvious reasons, slayer of the Spacial abyss dragon for killing that big dragon which also gave him all his levels too and the most embarrassing one… the cutest.

All his stats were also maxed and worked just like it did in the anime his system came from.

If he tried something he gained it as a skill and could put a skill point into it, up to ten which made him omnipotent in that skill.

However, interestingly if he didn't want to use said skill anymore he could lower the points and gain them back.

He currently had 999 points to use at will, yet all he had for skills was swordsmanship from watching Riles kill a boar for food with a blade.

Haru used puppy eyes and got to hold the heavy blade and gained the skill when he took a practice swing with it.

He also had meteor rain, yet it wasn't able to activate for some reason. Not that he was bothered by that, it was an endgame spell he probably wouldn't ever need again…hopefully.

The other skill he gained and the last so far was Blacksmithing, from helping Riles sharpen a wood axe while he spoke about blacksmithing and proper tool maintenance.

He didn't put points into either yet for obvious reasons, he had no use for them yet.

He would wait till he arrived at the city and find a place with Bell, before looking for a job!

Speaking of Bell, the teen suddenly jumped up, frightening Haru as he shouted out in glee.

Wondering what got Bell so hyped up, Haru looked in the same direction and his eyes nearly bulged out of his skull.

The wall was impressive, almost 200 meters tall.

However the center piece that drew his attention was the absolutely MASSIVE tower inside the city itself that stretched up beyond the clouds.

He heard Riles call it the Tower of Babel, funny considering that in his world said tower was sabotaged by a god for trying to reach heaven, while here gods built it especially for that reason.

He heard talk of plenty of different gods from Riles, Bell and Seth. Yet none of them mentioned the current biblical god he knew.

Maybe their was a reason for this? Meh not Haru's biggest problem right meow.

Nearly 20 minutes later Bell and Haru disembarked the wagon, apparently Mr.Seth and Riles were going to use a gate reserved for the Hephaestus Familia.

Bell and Haru were new to the city and would have to register before entry, so they waved goodbye and farewell to the two who brought them here and went to wait in line.

It took awhile but eventually both made it to a receptionist who looked up at them before blushing and looking down.

"Ehem, welcome to Orario, my names Kailua! I'm a member of the Genesha Familia in charge of the public gate. May I ask your reason for seeking entry?"

The cat girls ears twitched as she kept taking peeks at the two. The white haired boy was alright and easy on the eyes! But that dark haired kid next to him made her heart skip, she wanted to rush over and scoop him up!

He's way too adorbs!!!

"Hello! I'm Bell Cranel, and this is my little brother Haru Cranel! We came to become adventurers!"

Both Haru and Kailua were both shocked for different reasons.

Haru felt his eyes began to sting when Bell called him Little brother while tacking on his last name to Harus! As he never really had a family before he swore in his heart to always help Bell no matter what!

Kailua for a similar reason, these two brother's parents must be the most handsome pair on the planet.

These two would definitely be heart breakers, both gave off a sense of innocence and comfort. Something Kailua found quite endearing.

Her heart sudden dipped though as she recalled white the one named Bell said…to become adventures.

One of every four new adventurers die in their first three months while two more quit due to psychological reasons.

The thought that two of these brothers would take that job made her heart ache.

"Well my big bro wants to be an adventurer, I want to find a job in the city to support him!" Haru gave a toothy smile that made Kailua and Bell both blush simultaneously.

"That's very admirable of you little Haru, I hope everything works out and if you ever find you need help then don't hesitate to come back here and ask!" Kailua blurted out while blushing.

The little boys bright smile nearly made her cry for some strange reason, like everything in the world was gonna be just alright.

After chatting and waiving the entrance fee for the two brothers, Kailua sat back down on her chair and called the next person in…but her mind never dropped the image of that smiling child.

Said child was now walking along the north roads with his hand placed in Bells, who kept Haru pulled close to ensure he didn't wander off.

"Big brother, where do we go now?" Haru tugged on Bells sleeve and got his attention, Bell looked down only to see Haru crane his head to one side like an adorable puppy.

The act of something so cute made Bell stumble over himself as his attention gazed out due to said cuteness overload.

"Ehm, we'll first is to find somewhere to sleep, then food and lastly a Famila to join. When I'm able to go into the dungeon I can make some money for us!" Bell smiled as he looked down at his new baby brother, a fierce feeling of protection welling up inside his chest.

Bell felt a sudden squeeze on his hand as he heard a shaky voice come from Haru.

"I don't want big bro to get hurt in a smelly dungeon, promise if you get into trouble you'll run…don't leave me alone." Haru looked up at Bell with watery eyes, the effect was immediate as he suddenly found himself in Bells arms.

"I promise." All Bell could do was promise, yet that promise alone was enough to drastically change the events in this world, not like Haru hadn't already done…

But when your as cute as a button does that really matter? Or at least thought the being sitting on his thrown looking through a mirror at the two young children hugging in the middle of a constant moving crowd.
