Prologue- A sad, sad death

'Thomas and Mimi Hart, died on the 8th of February, 2020. May they Rest In Peace forever.'

Tears splashed onto the two graves, rose petals slowly fell to the ground as Liana knelt down in front of her parent's grave in silent tears and arranged the flowers she had bought in front of the two stones and sat there in the rain, thinking. She had thought it over and decided it was for the best, she would walk into the Aokigahara forest and let it do it's magic, then she would finally be reunited with her loving parents, dead but still together.

It was February the 7th, the day before the tragic accident and the Hart family was walking towards their friend Jazmine Shion's house for a perfectly planned lunch. When upon reaching the door, Mimi knocked on the door waiting to see Jazmine's kind face smile at them but what they didn't know was that she had been broken into, and the assassin was still in the house. So instead of a kind face, the last thing Mimi and Thomas Hart saw was a sliver of silver and streaks of red before everything went dark and two lives were lost, just like that. Fortunately, if you can even call it lucky, Liana was behind her parents and saw the whole thing happen. She stood there in complete shock, stunned at what she just saw and slowly raised her head to face the bloody assassin, full of rage and anger. Liana punched him in the face and took his knife, stabbing it in his heart while watching the blood spill out, the blood of the person that had just killed her parents. They were gone, and weren't going to come back, ever again. She finally came back into consciousness, and realized what she had done. She had just killed a man. Even if it was the person that had stabbed her parents, Liana knew it was still wrong and that now she was a criminal, a criminal on the run. She went into hiding after burying her parents underneath a old oak tree, the tree they'd always sit under to have picnics. Oh those wonderful memories, they were coming back now and Liana realized how much she missed them, she didn't appreciate them enough before, and now they were dead. This leaded her to her first thought of death, if she couldn't appreciate life without her parents, then why not join them? Why not sacrifice herself to fill the empty hole in her heart where her parents belonged? She wouldn't have a heart after she died but she'd still see her precious parents as they were everything to her.
