17 TEA PARTY

Wearing an ivory off shoulder floor length sheath dress, her brunette hair was tied into a twisted bun with some of hair her hanging low. Nanny Riley shrieked like a teenager and proudly clapped her hands while looking at Ashleah.

"Oh my! You'll be shocked when you see your face, your highness." The woman smiled widely and walked to Ashleah's vanity to get her some jewelries. Gulping hardly Ashleah slowly looked back at herself in front of the gigantic mirror that her Father bought for her.

"T-This is me?" Her voice stuttered, raising both of her eyebrows as her hands slowly lifted up and smoothly touched her lips. Her eyes was looking up and down, the dress fits perfectly. "I can't believe it."

"Don't be flustered, your highness!" Nanny Riley came back, she was holding a small necklace with a rose gold pendant on it. "You are gorgeous!" Walking around, opening the small lock on the necklace and wore it on Ashleah's neck.

The large door suddenly opened, making both of them look. "My! My!" Ashleah's face beamed, quickly walking to her Father, she hugged him tightly. Every hug feels like home. "My princess looks beautiful, ha?" The Emperor gave Nanny Riley a thankful smile, the nanny nodded in response.

A week has passed since Nash and Ashleah came back from a hundred years ago for their new mission, and they were both getting a hang of it. Ashleah was still a bit confused when it comes to eating because there were a lot of spoons and forks that she doesn't even know where to use.

"You're going to a tea party?" Her Father asked as soon as they pulled away from the hug. Nodding in response, the man chuckled. "Goodluck Ashleah." Kissing her forehead, The emperor bid his farewell due to his busy schedule.

"Father may seem busy but he still visits me when he has time." Ashleah said smiling widely and looked back at her Nanny, she took a deep breath. She knew that in the past she never went to a tea party without Nanny Riley. 'But let's change things.' The girl thought.

"Oh yes. His Majesty adores you, your highness!" The woman walked to Ashleah "Well then, I'm going to get your stuffs-"

"Nanny, I'm going by myself." She blurted out making the old woman stop on her tracks. "I-I just want to try!" she tried convincing the woman, but Nanny Riley was just left dumbfounded and confused. This was the first time that her highness wanted to go alone, she never wanted to go alone due to being scared of interacting or doing something wrong that will offend the other girls.

Scratching her nape, Nanny Riley gave Ashleah a reassuring smile. "Your highness, my princess Izel is now all grown up!" The woman giggled and twisted the golden door knob and nodded her head before heading outside.

Feeling relieved Ashleah sat on the small sofa chair on the end of her king size bed, it was covered with floral white fur making it so soft to sit, or even touch. Massaging the back of her neck Ashleah chuckled "I'm done with my first step, how about you Nash?" She asked herself.

Walking down the gigantic staircase of the palace, she still can't but feel in awe because her new house is A PALACE! She was going out using the back gate of the palace. As soon as she saw her carriage, her eyes widened.

A black covered in gold carriage with the symbol of the Imperial family on both sides of the door, it was huge. Four white horses, and there was Gab and Kian

"Her Imperial Highness, Princess of Genry. Greetings!" The two said in sync making Ashleah chuckle, they were so cute!

"My my! Greetings to my two.." she then smirked and whispered "dorky knights." She laughed when she saw how the two men pouted, they were acting like you took their lollipops away from them.

"Your highness, I told you we're not dorks." Kian said while massaging his forehead. "Wait, where is Nanny Riley?" Eyebrows slowly moved to its center and hitting each other, his eyes held confusion as he looked around trying to find where Ashleah's Nanny was.

"I am.. not going with her for today." She said with a bright smile on her face, but the two were left stunned and confused.

"Your highness, are you really sure?" Gab said, he was worried for what may happen. "You know that other nobles aren't support the Imperial Family—"

"Gab, Kian. I can take care of myself. I, The only princess of Genry, Princess Ashleah Izel Reece is turning 16 in just a few months." Ashleah said proudly, forgetting that there are other servants currently looking at them.

After a few minutes of arguing, Ashleah was now inside the carriage. Looking at the window she saw how beautiful the empire was.

The trees were tall and green, flowers were blooming everywhere. Bright blue skies, chirping birds. It was perfect.. It seemed perfect.

Ashleah's Father was doing his best to make families that aren't privilege enough, and being tamed by other higher nobles to get out of the hell they've been through.

Behind those giggling voices of high noble children are crying families and slaved children of nobles that crave for power.

Ashleah's hand turned into a fist as she remembered how nobles do everything for their pride, for their money. Stepping on other people to get the power they need, to get the power they thought that they deserve. Even though they don't.

In the past, she tried to help her Father to stop the auction of slaves. It was scary indeed, going inside the auction house, full body covered, wearing masks.

Once you go inside, you can hear a lot of whispering. There was no screaming.. no shouting. She thought everything was alright. Not until the auction started.

Getting pushed to the ground, face full of scratches, bruises and wounds the slaves looked up with a very scared look on their faces.

They couldn't scream because their mouths were covered by fabrics, nobles bidding high for the pretty ones. Ashleah was.. mad.

She shook her head and tried to forget everything for now, she then looked outside the window and smiled.

Seeing the gigantic mansion in front of her, she knew.. that she was now at the estate of Duchess Gabriella, the wife of Duke Rowen. The Vane family.

The Vane family are currently in good terms with the Imperial family, trying to make their bond stronger the Duchess who is now 5 months pregnant invited Ashleah to her tea party.

As she got down the carriage, she was welcomed by a big baby bump and a woman with gray eyes and short purple hair. The woman was.. "Her Imperial Highness, Princess Izel. Greetings! Thank you for coming to my tea party."

"It is great pleasure to go to you tea party Duchess Gabriella Vane." She said, the woman giggled while caressing her baby bump.

"Please, just call me Duchess Gabriella, or Gabriella!" She excitedly said making Ashleah giggle due to her cuteness.

The Vane family was.. one of the best noble families out there. Sadly, in the past.. The Duchess was killed by the same black magician.

'I won't let it happen.' Ashleah said inside her mind while walking inside the big mansion of the Vane Family.

The tea party was going well, she guess. Not until one of the girls spoke, a daughter of a marquess that doesn't support the imperial family.

"So your highness, how are you going to be an empress in that kind of state?" Everyone gasped. It was an insulting question, the girl expected to see the Princess shed tears.

Oh boy, she was wrong. 'I didn't get reincarnated for almost a hundred years to get this sh*t' She thought, Ashleah smiled and answered the silly question.

Gripping tightly on the napkin on her lap, Ashleah smiled and was thinking on how to create a huge backfire.

The girl was messing with the wrong Princess

"Doesn't mean that I am a princess, I can't achieve anything. It doesn't mean when I am JUST a princess I need to be married off to some rich noble. I will become an empress, I will do it, and I can do it."

"So please stop looking down on me, I am still your soon to be crown princess and the next heir to the throne."
