1 PROLOGUE

Birds chirping outside her window, Ashleah rubbed her eyes slowly and sighed. "Another boring day." She finally opened her eyes and looked at her window. The sunrise was the proof that she will now experience another day of her boring and unexciting life.

Looking at her own reflection on the mirror, a small yet sad smile escaped her lips. Her shoulder length brunette hair was messy, dark circles were obvious under her eyes, dry and chapped lips, it was as almost she never took care of her appearance.

Ashleah shrugged it off and took her towel and walked inside her bathroom. As soon as everything was finished she ran down the stairs and was not surprised when she saw that her parents aren't home yet, they never do.

Locked the door, the gate. Ashleah started walking while looking around she felt uneasy, confusion was consuming her. It felt like she was being watched. By who? She shook her head and tried to ignore the uneasy feeling that was consuming her slowly but surely.

As she entered their classroom, everyone turned their gaze at her. Giving her that disgust and 'what is she doing here?' look. The girl looked down, already used to their looks. This was her daily life, everybody giving her that disgust yet pity look.

It was another normal day.. or as she thought it was. The classroom went silent when their teacher came in. She was still arrogant as ever. She chuckled silently, got her history book and was waiting for Ms. Millar to tell them their new lesson for today, but what shocked her the most was.. She didn't.

Instead, she smiled while looking at the door. It was as if everything was in slow motion, a tall guy came inside their room, with those pitch black yet messy hair that looks great on him, wearing his black hoodie and underneath it was our school uniform, his skin looks smooth and perfect to be honest.

He faced them, and almost everyone gasped. His eye color was really unique and new to us, as he roamed his gaze around the room she wasn't sure but it felt like his eyes landed on hers. Those beautiful yet mysterious red looking eyes was looking at her, like he was reading her mind or was eating her soul.

"Kayn Nash Deoncan. It's nice to meet you guys." Ms. Millar nodded, it seems like he doesn't like talking that much. Her eyes widened when Ms. Millar told him that he should sit behind Ashleah, the girl looked down and his foot getting closer, she looked up slowly and gulped.

She saw how a smirk appeared on his face and it sent shivers down her spine. It felt cold when he walked away. Her heart beating loudly she tried to forget how she got scared because of the so-called-Kayn Nash dude.

Ashleah never knew that meeting Nash would make her life exciting yet dangerous.
